PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 11:09pm On Jan 07, 2021
You are 100% correct. Good job

Rocksvibes234:
This shows you don't know anything.
Bus terminal supposed to be bigger because more people travels by road More than those who travel by air.
If Anambra are to build bus terminal, we will build bus terminal that can handle more than 50million passengers annually because those who uses bus are large than those who uses aircrafts.

For the control tower.
The total floors of the control tower building is 12floors, including the tower shaft, control cab, radar, non op, etc.
So in Anambra Airport Air Control tower, the tower shaft is erected on 7floors, the one you counted as 8floor is the junction level, then the rest (radar, cab, control, op, etc) will be erected on the remaining 5floors. So the base building will be build behind the control tower and it must connect with the tower Shaft.
So stop talking about what you don't know.

Look below the image, you will understand better, thank you.

You are very correct. Very much on point

Rocksvibes234:
Mind you it's the longest runway in Nigeria and Africa, the total runway length is 4.5Kilometres.
The R runway thresholds is 400metres, the L runway thresholds while the main runway is 3.7kilometres making it 4.5, even MMA or Abuja airport doesn't have runway thresholds.
The runway is built in a way that aircrafts can land on the either sides that's on both the left and right of the runway, even MMA or Abuja airport doesn't have it.

For the terminal buildings, there are plans to construct more terminal in future time, just that the first phase of the airport project will be ready by April this year

eduj:
sometimes. I don't know what is wrong with some of us (igbos) am from Abia, but that airport going on at Anambra gives me joy.
If it was the SW states that are building airports and flyovers allover their states, our people would rain unimaginable insults on their governor's. Now that something of this nature is happening to Anambra and some other SE states, some of our brothers almost seem bitter about it. Even the redesigned terminal building is very okay!!! when it stabilizes economically, we can always build a grander one. Should we because the Chinese left, forget the airport project ? how can some peeps claim that a state among the top 5 industrialised states in the country doesn't deserve an airport ? because a neighboring state has one. During the inter-state lockdown, was anyone one from Anambra able to access those neighbouring airports at leisure ?

Abia seems to be the worst state in the South East. All the governors from OUK to TA Orji to Okezie have been performed so badly.
Ebonyi that was created last is picking up in terms of infrastructural development but Abia is no where to be found.

May God help us never to beg our enemies for what rightly belongs to us in Jesus name. Amen.

The condition of Aba is heartbreaking, such a sewage pit toilet called Aba, Umuahia is a rural area, but you will never find anyone from Abia state raising an eyebrow, they are moving around as if nothing is wrong. That's why it is easy for a fat ugly incompetent gorilla called Okezie to win 2nd term and TA Orji has been given 3 terms in the Senate. Ikuku is warming up to take over from Okezie. What a cursed state. B2MARIO spare some time to discuss your backward useless worthless shithole Abia state.

Brother ask her to provide picture of the Anambra axis especially from stretch of the ihiala to the ihiala junction. She said that she's going to post picture of any nonsense she sees in Orlu but will not use the same strength to gather pictures from ihiala to substantiate her claim and leave us with the option of comparing the two axis.
You need to know this Berem, just be following her.

You will never focus on your dead Abia state, all you do is discussing about others year in, year out. Abia state is the worst and most backward state in Nigeria but none of you Abia miscreants particularly you bastard is bothered. This is the same attitude of Nnamdi kanu, he forgot that charity begins at home. Abia state is by far the worst state in the SE but in his little mind he thought it is Biafra agitation that will fix Abia state. You idiot should focus more on your dead Abia state. Stop mentioning Anambra on this thread.

Good, but apart from the Orlu/ihiala road, what is the condition of other roads in Okporo?Madam, I was in Orlu last year August and I tell you the fact based on what I saw. Be sincere to yourself and answer my question, what is the condition of the same road in Anambra axis especially at the ihiala junction that connects with Onitsha/Owerri road, is Imo axis of the road not better than the one in Anambra or the road just damaged within the space of 4months?

PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by imaxdocuments:
You are 100% right. Owerri and Aba are siamese twins when it comes to bad roads. Even in culture and language, Aba and Owerri are related.

BastardWike:
Owerri and Aba are similar in the areas of roads

I really don't get your point. Is the video I posted not Kisumu city centre? Is Owerri city centre or any of our cities that beautiful with the good roads, sidewalks, trees, covered gutters and all? This is supposed to be a city from a poor third world African country yet all you do is go look for a slum in its suburbs to prove what exactly?

The truth is that Bank road, Wetherel and other parts of Owerri can be made to be even more beautiful than that Kenyan city if our governors are up and doing. Instead all we have here are bad roads, open gutters, no sidewalks, no trees or flowers or even road markings, everything is poor and mediocre! A government will manage to build a little one another will come in demolish it and the circle continues.

Look at this thread and all you see are just hotels being built by individuals and nothing more, no significant government intervention aside demolitions.
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by imaxdocuments: 9:18am On Jan 04, 2021
Stop putting Onitsha on the same sentence/scale with Aba because they are wide apart in the area of good governance. Put Owerri and Aba instead, they have a lot of similarities when it comes to roads particularly.

BastardWike:
In today's world, perception is everything. Kisumu has a city centre that is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, that is what they use as a selling point in attracting tourists. Owerri too is trying to carve out a niche as a relaxation centre, the best way to evolve in that is to develop a city centre or sections that can be world class, these areas/sections is what would be circulated all over the internet and people would be wowed to visit Owerri. Even Abuja has slums and ghettos too but the perception people have of Abuja is that of a beautiful city because the city centre is enchanting.

It wouldn't cost government much to pick out sections of Owerri and make it enchanting. Commercial cities like Aba and Onitsha may not see it as a priority to Behind up but for Owerri that relies heavily on outsiders coming in to relax, flex and spend, beautification is CRITICALLY IMPORTANT.

We cannot stop LIKING this post. You are too much. cool

[s][/s]

grin grin grin grin grin.....and how does all these crap about Addis Ababa rail or Ghana airport in these African capital cities BUILT BY THEIR FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS concern Anambra STATE? In sane countries, it is their Federal Govt. that will be building the Anambra intl. airport to boost commerce in those countries the same way the Nigerian FG built ALL airports in northern Nigeria to boost Hajj operations ( EXCEPT Katsina airport).

To begin with, Anambra isn't the capital of Nigeria. So you are preaching to the choir. Please exit the thread and go to Nigerian threads where such would be appropriate to plead that Abuja or Lagos airport should come to par with Kotoka Intl. airport.

It is also hilarious that you are posting the Addis Ababa rail here. To begin with, railways are in the "exclusive list" in Nigeria's constitution where state governments are banned to build railways. Again, if you were sincere, you would be agitating that the silly 1999 constitution that bans states from building critical infrastructure be taken town. But you would not do that because the truth is that you truly don't want to see development in Anambra. You just want to hide under irrational excuses that does not make sense to justify why you would never applaud the state for truly punching above its weight.

Even rich states like mine took more that 8 years under Uduaghan to build an airport! Obiano is well on track to repeat the feat in less than 2 years! Mind you Anambra does not even see up to 50% of the revenue available to Delta state. Not to mention others such as Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, katsina, Rivers, Akwa Ibom etc that enjoy gigantic federal allocation. The only state that is punching above its weight like Anambra is Ebonyi.

Your bitterness and wicked heart towards Anambra and her people will continue to bring you frustration in life because you truly can't do a thing against anyone God has blessed. That is why Nigeria is in such tattered state because instead of supporting Igbos to build a strong Nigeria, they have concentrated on how to marginalize Igbos and under develop Nigeria in the process. What i love about that situation is that in the end, they will all wake up someday and realize that as they spent precious time meeting to develop wicked plans & policies against Igbos, the Igbos themselves did not waste their own time on planning evil for them. Instead the Igbos busied themselves with how to develop themselves. In the end, when they are jealous and call Igbos names for their achievements, they forget they spent their own time thinking and plotting evil while the Igboman spent his own time on how to better himself. Just like you right now, i would advise you to use your time better on what is beneficial for your state. Osun state needs your power of research to tell them who to copy in order to come out of their financial mess. Than coming here with all sorts of half clever deceit that end up fooling nobody. You are wasting your time and using your talent for evil.

BTW, i hope you have seen the picture showing the asphalting of the airport 3.7 KM runway in progress. If you haven't seen it, let me post it again for you. So keep eating out your heart.
grin grin grin
