Obiedun: I don't have problem with what they do if they only do it to their Muslim counterparts. However, if they extend it to other religions it will be very ridiculous. A true worshipper is the one that willingly obeys the doctrines. The one forced to follow the doctrines will only use the religion to cause havoc. |

This sounds crazy.
I admit that sex outside marriage is immoral. But, is it by force to be holy? Politicians engage in more immoral acts and have not been arrested. This law or religion seems to be for the poor only. |

DoTheNeedful: How is relativism bad? It is unrealistic for everyone to start at the same point in this life.
You have certain advantages over some other people in life too. Should that undermine any success you achieve in life in the eyes of people who are not as privileged as you? There were people with backgrounds similar to Dangote decades ago who are nowhere today.
Dangote has done so well for himself. In my books, Dangote coming from money will not diminish it. His staying power is also to be admired. I never said that Dangote is not a great achiever. I simply asked you to define humble beginning. When you're ready for the conversation, define humble beginning. |

correctguy101: Lols...
Many wey dey sing about love no dey concern demselves with the public definition of love. See Tu Baba na... (Only Lady Celine Dion I suspect mean what she says in her songs, you fit even turn her songs to Christian song by replacing Jesus or God in some words in the lyrics and boom, legit church song don set )
If I tell some children on here say, no matter what it is, everyone has a different approach and definition for things. Dem the inexperienced kids go dey argue.
Because he no wan marry no mean say he no get person wey e love or go fit love. Like me, I once had my first best and we both subconsciously agree not to marry, until death stole her and I never still even see second best until today. I still love first best even after over 2 decades. Na so our own love be. No ask the kind of love we get for each other, no be ya concern.
If you dey with woman wey love ya pocket, na still love be that, you too find something for her body wey you fit love and don't bother yasef with too much matter.
All those TV dramas don spoil una ways of thinking. Even God no go fit love anyone for free, there's a price for everything. If it seems free to you, it's just that na you no dey aware of the cost. Your point will be valid if only you will remain childless for life. But if you want to have a baby mama, your point is invalid. Between a man who has a baby mama and do not leave together with the woman to raise the child and another man who lives together with his wife to raise his child or children, who makes more commitment to love? Commitment to love is not limited to sticking to and taking care of one woman, it extends to attaining the greatest height in ensuring the welfare of children. |

Romance › Re: Let's Stop The Bullying Of Single Ladies On Nairaland by immortalcrown(m): 8:42am On Aug 16, 2025*. Modified: 9:13am On Aug 16, 2025 |
1. There are Nairalanders that abuse the single mothers you are talking about. I am not among them.
2. There are Nairalanders who speak the bitter truth whenever necessary, whether the bitter truth is about males, female, single mothers or anything else. I am among them. This is not abuse. Hiding truth is destructive, voicing the truth may be unpalatable to ears but definitely saves life.
3. If men can correct all their mistakes, women can correct theirs. If women cannot correct all their mistakes, men cannot correct all their own mistakes. The biggest issue here is that, on average, men get to a certain age where they start admitting their flaws but women keep denying their flaws and keep shifting their blames to either men or fellow women. I said, "on average", because there are exceptions in everything. Correction is like restitution. No restitution without genuine repentance. You can't correct a mistake you deny. So many women are saying they want a man who will love them the way they are. It shows they are not willing to work on themselves. I have not heard a man saying he wants a woman that will love him the way he is.
So many men tell their children or the youths in public, "Listen to me so that you won't make the mistakes I made...". How many women have made such a statement to their children or to the youths in public? Does it mean that women are prefect or does it mean that women, on average, don't like admiting their flaws? So many fathers sit their sons down and teach them how to be good husbands and how to choose a good wife, they also advise their daughters on how to be good wives. How many mothers do this to their sons and daughters?
In conclusion, those single mothers that are abused should help (respect) themselves by admitting their flaws and telling younger females the truth instead of promoting the ideology of "Men are scum, I don't need a man, marriage is not an achievement". Remember, a ship sinks because of the water that enters it, not because of the water around it. If it is not within you, it cannot defeat you. |

There is a way to confirm if she is innocent or guilty. Just do a DNA test to ascertain the genetic connection between the child and the mother. If the test shows that there is no genetic connection between the mother and the child, then the mother is innocent. If the test shows that the child carries the mother's DNA, the mother is guilty of paternity fraud. |
