Two wrongs do not make a right. Opposing endsars protest is wrong. Dying from sex is shameful. But can't the demise be reported without a reference to the deceased's opinion about endsars protest? Is the protest the reason the person died? |
londonerr:Whether you give or not, you feel pressured. That is why you are complaining. |
londonerr:Na your mind dey deceive you, and na peer pressure be that. Nobody will beat you or drag you out of the building if you don't give money. |
creolehunt:Explain, "take action", as stated in the report. Does the "take action" mean that the monarch should be replaced? Or, does it mean the monarch should be set free? Or, does it mean the monarch should rule from the prison? |
I will respond by just sitting down and not giving a dime. Let that so-called minister come and drag me out of the building. Peer pressure doesn't get to me. Those of you who are influenced by peer pressure are the ones who usually fall for such ministers. It is even wrong for you to say that the minister is threatening you. The minister is not pointing a gun at you or trying to slap you when you refuse to give your money. But you will willingly get up to donate something so that people will not see you as a stingy or poor member. I love God and support God's work. But once it turns to a minister making prayer of blessings for only those that donate money, I will not donate my money to or through such a minister. No human being that truly understands what it means to worship God will pray for only those that donate money on a church altar. Who told you that donating for God's work must only happen in the church? What about those who support God's work outside the church but no longer have enough to come and donate again on the altar? Also, what about making the same prayer for those who did not donate so that they will make money and donate next time? As a matter of fact, those who have donated did not even make the money through such prayers. |
What exactly is the order that the governor has given? Has he ordered for the monarch to be replaced or has he ordered for the monarch to be set free or has he ordered for the monarch to rule from the prison? The media will just dish out one vague and meaningless statement to waste readers' time and data. The worst part is that this report is coming from a certified media house. I was reading it, hoping to know what the governor wants in the situation. I read to the end without seeing anything. |
Vulcan24:Is the collapse what made her performance invalid? |
Corruption is not chasing you. There are people that are chased by corruption but you are not one of them yet. Your mind is just tempting you to start enjoying corruption. Those whose lives are threatened because they refuse to indulge in corrupt practices are the ones who should say that corruption is chasing them. There are people who are threatened with arms, juju and all manner of things because they refuse to dance to the tune of corruption. Those are the ones chased by corruption. None of your customers has threatened to deal with you. None of your customers has tried to set you up or pollute your employer's mind against you. Even the manager, who is your superior, has not threatened you for refusing to accept bribe. I work in a place where some of my senior colleagues are not happy with me because I don't allow them to manipulate me or use my office to achieve unethical goals. Some of them have verbally assaulted me. Some have lied against me. But when you combine fairness and honesty in your actions, it is difficult or even impossible for your enemies to defeat you. Those senior colleagues have not been able to officially take any action against me because they are ashamed of themselves. They know that if they take any official action against me, I will say the truth when defending myself. They don't want those that will handle the matter to know how mischievous they have been in their offices. They would have been able to silence me if they have found me guilty of injustice in the organisation. They are just secretly trying to push me away because they have no fact against me. There is nothing they can present to higher authorities against me. I have been careful to the extent that I even avoid dating the girls in that environment because those girls could be used against me. Other guys who are even in lower positions are using those girls anyhow. Some of my subordinates are unhappy with me because I don't give them preferential treatments. A girl did something wrong and tried hard to seduce me so that I would use my position to cover up her mess. I didn't give in to the seduction and she started threatening me, saying that no one is untouchable, and that I am not the only one who has occupied my position. I am battled from both left and right. What will you say if you find yourself in my situation? I can't even report the sexual harassment because people will not believe me since I am a man and she is the female. I have no evidence of the harassment. Only she, God and I witnessed how she smushed her waist and boobs on me that very afternoon. Even her female friends (partners in crime) have joined her in castigating me. And one funny thing about our society is that when your fellow men try to paint you black, so many people will ignore them. But when women try to paint you black, even your fellow men that are stupidly trying to entice those women will buy whatever those women sell to them against you. |
I won't do it. But it is all about choices. Every man should stick to what rocks his boat. Any man that can't propose without kneeling down should utilise his knees. |
The collapse no be wetin go disqualify her. But I have no interest in what she is doing. My reason is that I don't see how what she is doing will improve the society. She will just get her award and go home to enjoy it. I am not against her success but I won't invest my time in watching the show. |
And I must waste up to 40 characters to say, "Tụfịakwa"? |
"Women supporting women". I might be the only one who never visited Linda's website. |
She is right in one aspect and wrong in the other aspects. Yes, prayers cannot solve financial problems. But going to Church is not about solving earthly problems. Going to Church is about salvation of souls and praising God. |
DMerciful:I have witnessed inappropriate disposal of such materials in environments that have good facilities for waste management. |
The only solution to this problem is a ban on plastics. An average (average in terms of discipline, not financial status) Nigerian is not disciplined enough to properly dispose of non-degradable materials. Sachet water nylon can burn. But an average Nigerian does not empty the nylon before throwing it away. So, the nylon can burn because it contains water. |
Gargantuan gaga! E get as e be when na police dem go catch as thief. |
What exactly is the new rule? Sixteen-year-old students have always been the issue. What you call the new rule approves of the same age. The debate has been that 18 years should be the minimum age, which was why there was a recent proposal for people below 18 not to register for JAMB. So, what exactly is the new rule or how has the rule solved the problem? Let us not exaggerate issues here. I have never seen a fourteen-year-old student in a Nigerian university. Cut-off mark na 150. It is what it is. We are watching. |
Good, if the government is prudent in the funding. |
The idea that smokers will go to hell is a stupid assertion by misguided African Christians. The arguement is similar to that of consumption of alcohol. Taking alcohol will not take anybody to hell. But allowing oneself to be intoxicated by alcohol to the extent of indulging in sinful acts will definitely take the person to hell unless the person asks for forgiveness before dying. This is applicable to smoking. Smoking to the extent of getting intoxicated to indulge in sinful acts will take the smoker to hell unless the smoker asks God for forgiveness before leaving the world. |
Taxation has always been a big cash out. Taxation has never been the problem of the country. The problem has always been how the tax is spent. |
Josbreed:Really? |
I don't need to read the post before commenting, the caption is clear enough. Fight your partner, not whoever he or she is cheating on you with. It is stupidity to leave your partner and fight the person the partner is cheating with. Fighting the person your partner is cheating with cannot solve your problem but will only make your partner and the person to keep their affair more secretive or your partner will look for a new catch. But for me, I will not even fight. I will just end the relationship, not minding whatever I have invested in the relationship. Sometimes, it is not easy to end the relationship. But dying can never be easier. What does not kill you, na luck you get, no try am again. But why is the post gender-biased? The post is only talking about women fighting their husbands' side chicks. What about men and their wives side hens? |
So, everything fit be format for all these misguided individuals? Tụfịakwa. |
If you are an adult, you are responsible for your actions irrespective of who advised or influenced you into the action. If the accused was a male, it would be boldly stated that he is a thief, and there may be no cutting corners to divert blame to substance abuse and bad friends. But as this one is a female, the emphasis is more on substance abuse and influence from friends. |
May the departed souls rest in peace. Reckless driving or poor maintenance of vehicles are probably the cause. |
Thundafireseun:Answer my question first. |
Thundafireseun:I agree that he is lucky. But, how is he the luckiest man alive? Abi you dey exaggerate? |
Misguided gen-zs left the group chat. It is what it is. |

Efuaye:Samsung is Android and yet reliable. I used my Samsung A8 to capture the same concert from the same stand point for 2 or 3 years before I got the Vivo. The concert happens in my school every year and I always maintained the corner as my viewpoint. So, do not give up on Android, give up on inferior devices that run on Android. |
Your caption is saying something different from what the post is about. Consider rephrasing your caption. The message you are trying to pass in the post is that, buying a new Redmi phone is better than buying a faulty or outdated Samsung phone or iPhone. It is true, just as buying a new Toyota or KIA is better than buying a Rolls Royce that is either push-and-start or without an engine. As the saying goes, a living dog is better than a dead lion. But your caption is wrong. Buying a Samsung phone or an iPhone is not a waste of money as long as the phone is in a good condition. These two brands of phone have features and qualities that have remained unmatched for years. If you say that the noise (hyping of) about iPhone is too much, I will agree with you, but it does not mean that Redmi is better than an iPhone. You guys are always quick to use camera in your comparison of phones but there is a camera secret you people don't know. Comparing the cameras by snapping or videoing the same object at the same distance under the same lighting condition could fool you into thinking that the phones are the same. The difference plays out in complex situations. For example, the day you will have the need to pixelate an image is the day you will understand that all these phones you use to challenge iPhone and Samsung are actually inferior to iPhone and Samsung. The last (the last but not the only) Samsung phone I have used is Samsung A8 (water resistant). When the phone got bad, I bought Vivo y72 5G. Everybody was praising the Vivo camera and I was even tempted to believe this claim that other phones can match iPhone and Samsung in terms of camera quality. But something happened one day. A concert was going on and I needed to zoom in the stage from where I was, the image quality faded as I zoomed in. That was the day I realised that Samsung and iPhone are the masters. Also, the Samsung A8 could shoot video in 4:5 aspect ratio but the Vivo can't do it. Only still images support 4:5 aspect ratio on the Vivo. Believe it or not, Samsung and iPhone, especially Samsung, are living in future in terms of creativity and innovation in the tech world.

Holy Spirit now operates a social media account. Holy Spirit now owns an internet-enabled device and depends on network (the internet) to work. Fantastic! |
