jboixxx:
1. You Re-register d course and exam.
2. No study group/facilitation offered by the school except for 100 & 200L students. I think only Lagos centre does that!
3. Delay experienced is mainly due to busy schedules of supervisors and student's delay in topics submission. Mine was not delayed; got assigned to a supervisor in just few days.
4. Wait till late Dec.
Thanks a lot bro

This is awesome, jst went tru frm page 1 to 12.
Pls I've got sm questions, tho I'm a prospective M.Ed student.
1. In situation where a course is failed, wot happens? Repayment for the course or the conventional carry over?
2. Is there no study group being organized by the institution in accordance with each study center?
3. Someone mentioned that it takes long for project topics to be approved. Is this a general problem?
4. Definitely, i knw admission should be on but it won't make any sense to join when semester is almost ova. So when is the best tym to get register

Really appreciate your work.

Larry37:
1. Don't know much about primary school but for secondary schools that uses British curriculum must be doing checkpoint at the junior level and IGCSE at the senior level thereby having basic 7-11(5 years in secondary school) while Nigeria based curriculum is 6 years, British curriculum is narrow and application based while Nigeria curriculum is wide and knowledge based.
2. Not really how a school operates boils down to their content, quality and system. The name does not have so much impact.
3. Of course that's why i used to advise peeps to take it further outside their zone.
4. Masters is good most especially for schools running the Nigerian curriculum but if you truly want to go international which is trending in schools now for British and American based curriculum go for certification like IGCSE and the rest.
hope this answers your questions.
Yea, thanks for your time

Sunnypar:
1. There is no difference the only difference I see is that the former prepares students for education outside Nigeria or provide educationspecifically tailored to enable students "enroll" for foreign educational institutions seamlessly, while the later prepares you for O'level and possibly acquiring knowledge not relevant to the immediate economic and cultural environment;
2. As for International schools, yes, but not all because there is AISIEN a body or association of international schools with foreign affiliatiom or partnership. Many schools that bears international, there nothing international about (pay wise, laboratory wise and working conditions) them not the mention they are not members of AISIEN. Some high schools are members of AISIEN but many are 'Kereje'. Comprehensive, high, low are just figure head title.
3. For someome without any teaching experience, starting around is the best, then after a year you can move out because you have gathered experience. Yours truly did same.
MAcjc, made some analysis, which in my own opinion is correct especially if you want to further your studies, acquire certifications. Also schools around is good for pregnant and nursing mothers but not good for singles. Yes, leaving your comfort zone is good, but you have to consider many factors such as transportation especially in Lagos and rent. Am guessing, you not in the labour market yet.
4. It all depends on you, especially if your pocket can carry it. Professional certification is what most of this grade A schools like, however, some of "us"only have a first degree and have taught in grade A schools. In my own opinion, certifications in this profession are as follows TRCN, CIE, IELT and IGCSE. TRCN is quite good for educationists while others are gotten if the schools is certified by British council to undertake such programmes.
Thanks boss...I studied education and I'm hoping to bounce into one of those 'grade A schools'
