woodcook:
In the history of Nigeria no leader came close to IBB and Abacha in looting our common wealth. If I remember correctly Buhari actually "cannonized" Sani Abachi.

We all called GEJ administration corrupt but for over a year now bubu is yet to convict just one person.

Imagine a guy with one year diploma in CS is going to head NCC. Imagine the likes of Amaechi and others walking around free. Imagine all the wastage (I called it wastaged because you lot find nothing wrong in drilling bole hole with millions and setting up a basic website with hundreds of millions as normal) under Fashola administration and he was reward by the present government.

Untill we focus on the ills going on in this present administration (rather shielding it to belie the fact that we chose wrongly) we will end up worse by the end of his tenure.
All thieves can never be caught at same time. It is one at a time until we achieve minimal crime rate. The present clamp down is a step in the right direction while we await for the next Government to equally probe the present.

Actually no laundering can make people respect Mr Jonathan. He failed woefully as a President while empowering criminals instead of intellectuals. He should continue with his self delusion.

How much was spent on conducting common elections in Nigeria in 2015?

Ignoramuses don't want to know that without proper census figures, a country can't be planned well.
Do you actually believe there will ever be a proper census in Nigeria? With the level of international conspiracy involved it is literally impossible. Like I've always written they will waste 222billion and basically calculate 3% annual growth for 33 States while Lagos, Kano, Rivers and Abuja will have slightly higher percentage ascribed to them. We shoukd just do the calculation and save our 500million Dollars.

Who are the "us" you referred to? I hope its not the real Igbos of Awka, Umudioka and Isu.

Bros, it doesn't make sense. If i have lived in a region almost all my life and i know the people there, know the issues facing the people, pay taxes to the local or state govt and some guy who has never even set foot in that community except for a burial or christmas celebration would now come and contest meanwhile the other guy can't even run. Do you see the extreme stupidity in that. Its so sad how the rest of the world makes fun of us Africans. My guy, i wish you would travel abroad to get a different perspective. Nigerians solutions are so glaring to any outsider (those outside the forest) but those in the forest can't see them. They are still caught up in ibo vs hausa, yoruba vs. ibo so petty and ridiculous.
Don't over emphasize on an issue which formed part of present Government's manifesto. Implementation will take a while but it indeed is a step in right direction. "State of residence" should be a priority over "State of origin"
PoliticsRe: We Fought Corruption Without Making Noise – jonathan by ImoRiver: 8:18am On Oct 25, 2016
I blame those still respecting this failure of a man. Someone whose defence Chief shared defence budget amongst his political affiliates in the heat of a war where our territories were under terrorists control. He should watch his mouth before civil organizations demand for his arrest. Enough of this insult on our collective sensibility.

Abi people don't speak Igbo. Their language is Ekoid.
They like being affiliated with us, but their language is not Igboid.
They are to us,what Ogbia is to Ijaws.

Isobo on the other hand, are Igbo speaking people.
I'm convinced you indeed have Igbo interest at heart. I appreciate your efforts. We need more work on Igbo origin than the fiction flying around. These Isobo people judging from the dialect are likely Awka people that traveled to ancient Benin area and then back to the East as ancient Awkas and Umudiokas were great travelers. The searchlight on Igbo origin should be beamed on Awka, Isu and Umudioka.

some of those new structures in schools are not being used though because of the haphazard and unplanned nature.try and go aroung during school hrs and look..also schools or education is beyond buildings
I don't think it has much to do haphazard or unplanned nature but on bad opposition. In some communities PDP agents vandalized the schools removing windows and destroying seats in a bid to discredit Okorocha. If the communities are wise enough they should safeguard the schools as it is their money not the Governor. It is wiser to build schools where they are appreciated and the structures safe from vandals.

Between you and this Oyibo woman who do we believe? I believe her because she is not a Nigerian and hence neither IPOB, APC nor PDP. In her opinion she appreciated Owerri as one of the finest cities while acknowledging the beauty of the roundabouts.

Oga stop lying, all these roads are still intact. Ndi Anambra state stop comparing Anambra state that lack development in all ramifications to Imo state.

it will take Anambra 75yrs to be like IMO state. Stop deceiving people on media nothing is in Anambra. Just that you love your state and always like to defend it.

most development in Anambra is not government initiated rather private initiated because your people like investing at home. Obi and Obiano both are criminals. you always like to criticize people's state and her government but hardly allow people to mention your state because you know you virtually lack everything.

Stop claiming Imo to attack Rochas just because he dumped your god forsaken Apga. you and I know that Rochas still remain the best governor in Southeast and your criticism is not going beyond your state and internet. Rochas still remain the most cherished governor in the whole of northern region and people have learnt that you are criticizing him just because of his political affiliation.

Stop comparing your state with Imo because Imo is far ahead of Anambra.

What is in Anambra sef? show us picture to prove it and stop running day and night to see that you tarnish the image of the beautiful Imo these fake pictures you got from dirty Onitsha, Nnewi, Awka.
Sometimes I do wonder why all the hate. If someone retaliates or tries to correct them then the person becomes anti-Igbo but the Igbos seem to turn a blind eye to these people's divisive actions.
PoliticsAnambra Youths Oppose Obiano's Second Term Bid by ImoRiver(op): 6:56pm On Oct 24, 2016
http://www.authorityngr.com/2016/10/10-000-Anambra-youths-oppose-Obiano-s-second-term-bid/

No fewer than 10,000 youths of Anambra State have resolved to frustrate the second term  bid of Governor Willie Obiano. They said Obiano has failed woefully to create jobs for the teeming youths in the state and was selective in providing infrastructure for the communities. The youths from Anambra North Senatorial District, which is Obiano’s constituency, said that they would mobilise more youths in the state to ensure that the governor does not remain in the Government House beyond 2017.The youths, who gathered under the aegis of Omambala Indigenous Youth Foundation (OIYF), said that they decided to reject Obiano because he did not support their community when they fought against their Kogi State neighbours over against their Kogi State neighbours over the issues surrounding Orient Petroleum site at Enugu Otu Aguleri. They also accused Obiano of failing to offer them jobs.Speaking at their gathering in Oyi Local Government Area at the weekend, the Chairman of the Foundation, Comrade Simeon Okafor, explained that Omambala is made up of 34 communities in four local government areas in Anambra North Senatorial Zone.He named the councils as Anambra East, Anambra West, Ayamelum and Oyi councils, and affirmed that Obiano has not executed any serious project in these communities or provided jobs for the youth - except for those of his hometown of Aguleri.Okafor said that the choice was now left to Governor Obiano to continue to refuse them jobs and the provision of infrastructure in their affected communities.According to him, each of the 34 communities has qualified graduates who can serve in various capacities at the state and local government levels.Okafor alleged that they went to Governor Obiano to provide them logistics support to visit the Attah Igala at Odeke in Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State to negotiate peace with the people over the lingering dispute between Anambra and Kogi over the Orient Petroleum site but he refused. The youth leader said that it was another illustrious son of Omambala who gave them the money for the trip, noting that the crisis surrounding Orient Petroleum site was resolved because of their visit to the palace of the Attah Igala. He said: “We took a very big risk to visit Odeke. They nearly killed us but for the quick intervention of the elders who noticed that we came for peace and pleaded with their youths to spare our lives. Fortunately, our meeting with them yielded tremendous results because before that meeting, Odeke people had banned and chased all the Igbo from Odeke but after that meeting they lifted the ban and accepted them back into their fold.”He said that they regretted visiting the governor because he may have thought that they came to beg him for money, pointing out that what they needed were jobs and not money to share.

That's a bare face lie. No Governor in Nigeria has built as much schools as Okorocha in both rural and urban areas. If there is name the State. Whai AIC Akwarandu and his brothers are posting on facebook, Vanguard and other blogs are lies and misinformation. There are definitely many faulty infrastructures in Imo State like Abuja but not anywhere close to 10%.

If it comes from anything Akwarandu just forget it. He and his brothers are paid agents of Emeka Ihedioha that publish false or cleverly exaggerated stories on facebook about Okorocha and Imo State. Okorocha has built over 400 schools in Imo State and still counting. Some of the old buildings are yet to be demolished hence any one full of mischief could selectively show images of old building. Here are few photos.

Pump $1 billion into Nigeria....

See as it sounded cheap. Nigerians and dependence on free money.

Oyibo can't pump $1 billion into any country without getting $2 to $3 billion in return.
It's called: give one and take back three.
The issue here is that they want to help us in development of infrastructure. Getting returns from their investments shouldn't be an issue.

What is the proof that this is a result of Buhari's recent visit to China?

How is it that it was the election of all the pdp winners that are being contested and attacked in court while all the apc winners are walking free without court attacks?

How come it is the pdp governors that are being investigated for bribing courts while none of the apc governors is being looked into
Because APC is in power and moreover it is more likely for PDP to be guilty because the judiciary seemed compromised hence APC might have intended to bribe as well but couldn't.

When in future we read headlines "1000 people killed in overnight raid at Ado Ekiti" who are we to blame? Ekiti people should rise up and prevent their State from being turned into a war zone. There's no difference between EGEM and cattle rustlers except of course that a Governor backed the rustling.
