woodcook:All thieves can never be caught at same time. It is one at a time until we achieve minimal crime rate. The present clamp down is a step in the right direction while we await for the next Government to equally probe the present. |
bayawah:Actually no laundering can make people respect Mr Jonathan. He failed woefully as a President while empowering criminals instead of intellectuals. He should continue with his self delusion. |
kikake:Do you actually believe there will ever be a proper census in Nigeria? With the level of international conspiracy involved it is literally impossible. Like I've always written they will waste 222billion and basically calculate 3% annual growth for 33 States while Lagos, Kano, Rivers and Abuja will have slightly higher percentage ascribed to them. We shoukd just do the calculation and save our 500million Dollars. |
Call07034780891:Who are the "us" you referred to? I hope its not the real Igbos of Awka, Umudioka and Isu. |
davidif:Don't over emphasize on an issue which formed part of present Government's manifesto. Implementation will take a while but it indeed is a step in right direction. "State of residence" should be a priority over "State of origin" |
I blame those still respecting this failure of a man. Someone whose defence Chief shared defence budget amongst his political affiliates in the heat of a war where our territories were under terrorists control. He should watch his mouth before civil organizations demand for his arrest. Enough of this insult on our collective sensibility. |
Igboid:I'm convinced you indeed have Igbo interest at heart. I appreciate your efforts. We need more work on Igbo origin than the fiction flying around. These Isobo people judging from the dialect are likely Awka people that traveled to ancient Benin area and then back to the East as ancient Awkas and Umudiokas were great travelers. The searchlight on Igbo origin should be beamed on Awka, Isu and Umudioka. |
asha80:I don't think it has much to do haphazard or unplanned nature but on bad opposition. In some communities PDP agents vandalized the schools removing windows and destroying seats in a bid to discredit Okorocha. If the communities are wise enough they should safeguard the schools as it is their money not the Governor. It is wiser to build schools where they are appreciated and the structures safe from vandals. |
Vicboi1:Between you and this Oyibo woman who do we believe? I believe her because she is not a Nigerian and hence neither IPOB, APC nor PDP. In her opinion she appreciated Owerri as one of the finest cities while acknowledging the beauty of the roundabouts. Check the date 20th Oct, 2016.

That's the much propaganda can go. |
B2mario:Sometimes I do wonder why all the hate. If someone retaliates or tries to correct them then the person becomes anti-Igbo but the Igbos seem to turn a blind eye to these people's divisive actions. |
http://www.authorityngr.com/2016/10/10-000-Anambra-youths-oppose-Obiano-s-second-term-bid/ No fewer than 10,000 youths of Anambra State have resolved to frustrate the second term bid of Governor Willie Obiano. They said Obiano has failed woefully to create jobs for the teeming youths in the state and was selective in providing infrastructure for the communities. The youths from Anambra North Senatorial District, which is Obiano’s constituency, said that they would mobilise more youths in the state to ensure that the governor does not remain in the Government House beyond 2017.The youths, who gathered under the aegis of Omambala Indigenous Youth Foundation (OIYF), said that they decided to reject Obiano because he did not support their community when they fought against their Kogi State neighbours over against their Kogi State neighbours over the issues surrounding Orient Petroleum site at Enugu Otu Aguleri. They also accused Obiano of failing to offer them jobs.Speaking at their gathering in Oyi Local Government Area at the weekend, the Chairman of the Foundation, Comrade Simeon Okafor, explained that Omambala is made up of 34 communities in four local government areas in Anambra North Senatorial Zone.He named the councils as Anambra East, Anambra West, Ayamelum and Oyi councils, and affirmed that Obiano has not executed any serious project in these communities or provided jobs for the youth - except for those of his hometown of Aguleri.Okafor said that the choice was now left to Governor Obiano to continue to refuse them jobs and the provision of infrastructure in their affected communities.According to him, each of the 34 communities has qualified graduates who can serve in various capacities at the state and local government levels.Okafor alleged that they went to Governor Obiano to provide them logistics support to visit the Attah Igala at Odeke in Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State to negotiate peace with the people over the lingering dispute between Anambra and Kogi over the Orient Petroleum site but he refused. The youth leader said that it was another illustrious son of Omambala who gave them the money for the trip, noting that the crisis surrounding Orient Petroleum site was resolved because of their visit to the palace of the Attah Igala. He said: “We took a very big risk to visit Odeke. They nearly killed us but for the quick intervention of the elders who noticed that we came for peace and pleaded with their youths to spare our lives. Fortunately, our meeting with them yielded tremendous results because before that meeting, Odeke people had banned and chased all the Igbo from Odeke but after that meeting they lifted the ban and accepted them back into their fold.”He said that they regretted visiting the governor because he may have thought that they came to beg him for money, pointing out that what they needed were jobs and not money to share. |
trippla01:You hit the nail by the head. The level these people go to discredit Okorocha is alarming |
Johnnyessence:That's a bare face lie. No Governor in Nigeria has built as much schools as Okorocha in both rural and urban areas. If there is name the State. Whai AIC Akwarandu and his brothers are posting on facebook, Vanguard and other blogs are lies and misinformation. There are definitely many faulty infrastructures in Imo State like Abuja but not anywhere close to 10%. |
asha9:Chino stop this your childish moves. In the schools constructed in his 1st term most were precast while the more recent ones are green roofed brownish milk. 1st photo is 1st tenure while the rest is recent from city primary school.

If it comes from anything Akwarandu just forget it. He and his brothers are paid agents of Emeka Ihedioha that publish false or cleverly exaggerated stories on facebook about Okorocha and Imo State. Okorocha has built over 400 schools in Imo State and still counting. Some of the old buildings are yet to be demolished hence any one full of mischief could selectively show images of old building. Here are few photos. https://s26.postimg.org/pj7ete0wp/city2.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/50zhl15w9/emekukuward1.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/e3nys25nd/okpofembaiseschl.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/3n7upq6mx/emekukuward2.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/lbuthgf15/11schl.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/l0dd4oyl5/11schl1.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/x3ios99nd/11schl2.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/feqy0mxw9/11schl3.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/92bsqsuu1/11schl4.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/ibdz0x3q1/11schl5.jpg |
Otnutnu iho. They should better give us good service before any rise in tariffs. |
Corruption in INEC needs some attention. I believe Jimoh but next time he should try as much as possible to get an evidence. |
Ejanla07:They are still patronizing Tata, Toyota, Kia and Hyundai. Both the Governors and the citizens with a few exceptions. |
4 shots of Warehouse junction
|
Douglas Road before the 3 market clusters and after the 3 market clusters. Most of the images in circulation are of the market part which is polluted from over congestion. If the markets are successfully moved then all of Douglas will be this decent. Picture taken 4 days ago.

Once again beautiful roundabouts
|
kikake:The issue here is that they want to help us in development of infrastructure. Getting returns from their investments shouldn't be an issue. |
Forwetinnah:I wonder your reason for all these threats. If indeed there happens to be a video footage would you support jailing Okoro or not? |
Sealeddeal:It might interest you to know that fellow Igbos are fighting Innoson to bring him down right there in Anambra State. |
QuotaSystem:Innoson is a patriot and pacesetter. We just need to encourage their automobile sector. |
Some beautiful roundabouts.
|
eyeview:Because APC is in power and moreover it is more likely for PDP to be guilty because the judiciary seemed compromised hence APC might have intended to bribe as well but couldn't. |
When in future we read headlines "1000 people killed in overnight raid at Ado Ekiti" who are we to blame? Ekiti people should rise up and prevent their State from being turned into a war zone. There's no difference between EGEM and cattle rustlers except of course that a Governor backed the rustling. |
