Some times I regret wasting my time going to a Nigerian school and studying engineering, my highest salary was about 210k in 2017 I for just do IT program while I was just 16yrs old but I didn’t know it will be like this and hey you reading this engineering don cast if you are still young or have a loved one get into IT or robotics that all I have to say.

This is my current dilemma, about to make a crucial decision in my life. I be elect guy and I love every aspect of it. But Nigeria marketplace always give my goosebumps, I don't want to be stuck and be doing not so interesting Engineering ( without pay after 5years of service that will do here in Nigeria), just finished service not quite long, am currently into teaching and sales to keep body and soul together before I leap. Currently, looking out for software bootcamp but not yet sure if that's the best decision as I don't want to be like running away from elect engr too

IT skills my gee. I spent sleepless days learning programming, designing and how to sale (digital marketing). I learnt them concurrently. Designs started paying my bills, then digital marketing before programming crowned it all.

Also, I started high level networking. Meeting individuals who are in a specific strata of the society. Strategically, pitching myself. Doing a lot of stuffs to scale my worth.

Lastly, a man with one source of income won't last. I also learnt skills that fetch money even when I am sleeping or grooving. Not ponzi schemes or. Stuffs live Fiverr, Amazon KDP, crypto/NFT's et al.

Let me be real with you OP; leaving your parents house then was easy. I am talking about right up to Goodluck Jonathan's tenure. When things were a bit soft and chilling.

But try am now, you go see shege. I am talking from experience. Real shege if you just leave your parents house without some good cash or a skill that's fetching you money.

I became independent immediately after my university. My mum called tiredlessly that I should at least spend a year with them before japaying to the wider world. I said no!

I graduated with roughly about 500k in my account. So I thought I was the man. I moved, rented an apartment of about 250k furnished it and when I checked my account balance, hot tears nearly devoured me. Wetin ah pass through for hunger hand no be here. Fine crib but no money to feed.

I didn't give up sha. I was solid like a rock. After a year, i couldn't renew my rent, landlord served me quit notice. Haha.

Also, even though I was talented/skillful at that time, navigating through the murky waters of independency wasn't easy. As I was lazy and procrastinated a lot.

After I was relegated to a crib were mosquitoes, insects of different species and other ruminant animals were co-tenants na that time my eyes open and clear.

All these happened between a year and 6ix months. All that is history now. God, hardwork and Grace saw me through. I can comfortably afford any lifestyle I want right now.

Yes, I accepted my foolishness, it is very dumb of me to get myself involved having done my research. But you see, I just needed money to finish some courses that I have registered for and that's what blinded my eye/ mind. Now, my mind is not at rest, I can't pay up 35k per month on my own every month, my house rent will be pay very soon too and I have to eat.

Good Day Nairalander, trust your day is going on fine. Please I need your help, I was introduced to an investment by a friend of recent. The investment is on one reverse football trading. Initially I was not interested in it( and it look like betting which I don't like), but because as at that time I only had 10k with me but the guy keep persuading me to join. Eventually, I joined and started with 10k and I saw my money increasing by trading 3times a day with 3%profit. I was wowed, I thought I can do more as I needed money to settle some bills, I'm working as a Teacher in a Private school earning roughly 40k per month, in some months I earn 45k with lessons. So the school are currently on holiday and I planned to utilize the break period to sharpened my skillset on data analytics ( Excel,PowerBi ), learning has never been my problem but epileptic supply of power and feeding has always been the struggle that always disturb my learning as my Laptop does not have backup( I cannot even buy a follow come battery, because it is not in the market). So to provide for these needs, I thought it will be good if I use the investment profit( withdrawal is allowed anytime from the platform) to cater for the power issue and feeding while learning. So I went ahead and borrow money from fairmoney ( 70k to pay 103k in three months), so I invested 65k on the platform which in a month will yield around 155k+( honestly, I know things don't work this way because I carry out my research and discover that the platform cannot be trusted but I was blinded by my need as I'm desperate to skill up and get out of teaching).

Currently, for the past one week now, withdrawal cannot be made from the platform( it seems it has crashed ), people are not able to withdraw
My heart has been cutting, I could not focus well because I don't know where to get the money.

Please Nairalander help me�, I can't imagine my myself been in bondage for three months paying debt. In whatever way you can help, help a brother. I want to pay the loan and move on, the tourture no be here.

Got N7k for a Saturday job 2 weeks ago. That's the only reasonable job and the only reasonable job offer I've gotten on the site.

Since then, I've gotten 3 job offers there but the pay offered were insulting. 2 of them offered N5k for working Saturday AND Sunday. I can't remember the pay the 3rd one offered, but I don't think it was sufficient, else I would have accepted it.

After the prayers, he told me he could make me very rich. All I needed to do was to send him 50k to buy the necessary materials for the sacrifice.
