@ all, the op is specific about internal democracy. Are candidates duly elected or handpicked?
Well I know most Nigerians remain biased on every issue along tribal and religious lines.
In reality, the op is so right. The ACN has the worst internal democracy. Tinubu handpicks all the candidates.
If you disagree, pls give details of how elections held for any position in ACN both primaries and party positions.
And no, I am not a politician neither do I support any party.

Pls all, my Asus C90S suddenly stopped displaying anything.
Now my options are:
1). Fixing the display
2). Swapping for a new laptop.

Initially, like everyone else, I flowed with d suspense. Then came d turns & twists.

I am a doctor and I wish to make a few points.
I have experienced close scenarios countless times
I totally agree with the general sentiments here.
But sometimes, u need to be in certain situations to knw how they work.

Firstly, i have treated every such emergency with or without money
But that is a PERSONAL decision because I cannot watch an emergency without acting
Its my kind of person and personal resolve.
Also, I do that knowing I could pay the bills if it comes to that.

secondly, while training in LUTH, there were so many patients who couldnt pay their bills.
It happens all the time. many will escape with excuse of going to toilet , etc.
Many were kept back for long periods while also being fed by the hospital
In the case of children, many of them were abandoned by their parents
Some of u may have heard of a certain LUTH baby ABANDONED AT A VERY TENDER AGE IN NEED OF SURGERY.
LUTH did the surgery and has been taking care of her. Few yrs ago, LUTH even sent her to India for the last part of her corrective surgery
She should be a teenager now.

On the issue, I have countless experiences. There is one that still hurts me so bad.It was in a private hospital.
A one yr old girl had her ring finger severed with just a little skin holding it.
Due to the small size of the finger, I personally entered into the rain with a bike to get the best suture for stitching it back.
I searched everywhere, luckily i found only one in the FMC of that state
I took 5 hrs for all the planning, suture search and stitching.
To tell u how bad it was, d mother wanted me to remove the severed finger being irreparable.
Now i did it, as i speak, no sign of d accident in that finger.
Now guess what? She refused to pay 4k. Till today, she paid only 2k which I shared with the nurses and even reported me to the owner of the hospital for asking for money.
meanwhile, the hospital never paid for that procedure cos am paid per hour booked and such cases are not booked for.

A 2yr old boy was almost dead with severe anaemia( very low blood level)due to severe malaria
After saving his life with blood and all, his grandpa came forcefully to take him away.
He even said we didnt do anything.

So finally, past experience may be reason for such. Many doctors have had to pay such bills for patients esp in private hospitals.

Dear MTN CSR,

My MTN Zone was consistently charged at 40k/s despite always seeing between 0k/s to 10k/s on my screen.
When I realised and called CSR, I was told MTN Zone works in only 5 states and everyone outside those states are charged 40k/s.
I would rly love u to explain this one.
First, did MTN ever tell Nigerians that MTN Zone works in only 5 states? And why show 4k/s on my screen?
second, why should I call MTM-MTN at 40k/s when I can use airtel at 20k/s to all networks?
My numerous experiences make it so clear that MTN is fraud.

MTN is hated for very valid reasons.
Everyone cannot just complain for nothing.
They have the highest subscriber base because they were the first to roll out in most parts of the country.
And particularly, most people do not want to lose their mobile numbers.
With number portability, MTN cannot have more subscribers than Airtel & Etisalat whose charges are much cheaper.
But I know MTN is very smart. They can keep their customers by becoming the cheapest which is what they are supposed to do now.
Or how do u explain paying much higher for MTN-MTN calls when u can call MTN with Airtel at a cheaper rate?

MTN has cheated me so many times over the years
As for the 500% bonus, a friend first reported it on 2nd Nov.
Then I found out myself on the 3rd of Nov.
Imagine making a 7 mins call for which u are charged #126
Yet MTN says ur last call was #13
Unbelievable! Once they said my last call was #1.02k after charging me like #80.
I was just laughing.

@ those bashing the country, aren't there unemployment in every countries of the world? Or are we assuming the unemployed in other countries aren't educated?
As for the Ph.d (& maybe MBA) holders, there are numerous lecturing opportunities in this country .
I know a tertiary institution in the north where even Masters holders are being sought after.
Like I always say, the poverty of the mind is the worst of all. And yes, wisdom is very profitable.
