Set up a profile for her first, then do the update from there and it will reflect in yours too. Simple
Thanks for your answer. But I’m not sure if the profile I'm setting up for her will be under my portal or you mean creating a new user account for her. There’s nowhere to create an additional profile on the page. Thanks

Hey fam
Weldone to everyone for the great works here.
A quick one pls, I have filled the DS160 forms and have scheduled appointment for me & DW. Just realised I made an error on DW’s DS160. I have filled a new one but I’m having difficulty updating her DS160 on the appointment portal. The ‘update profile’ tab on the portal only allows me to update my own DS160 no. Kindly assist on how to update dependant’s DS160 no.
Thanks

Good morning & happy new week.
Pls someone with experience should help here. Someone applied for F1 visa early August but was denied based on funds (tho there were sufficient funds in the sponsor’s account. The mixup was that he went with his own statement of account as well, which is not funded). He requested and was granted expedited appointment the following week. He clarified the issue at the interview and the visa was approved. Three days later, passport was ready for pickup, lo and behold, there was no visa, only a letter stating he has been denied.
Has anyone experienced this ‘approved and later denied’ scenario, what can be done about it? Thanks

Hi people,

Pls those with Abuja appointments for last week, what happened to your appointments? Were you asked to reschedule the date or location, or both? If yes, how early are the new dates?

About a week to my appointment, the Abuja embassy is still closed and I’m yet to receive any communication.

Looking for info so I can plan accordingly.

Cheers!

Good morning people!
I need help pls... I have filled in the DS-160, made payment and about to book appointment. I have created the profile and entered my receipt no, however, the next available date was quite far, so I I logged out and did not book at that point.
I logged in again to book, but it’s asking for the receipt no and each time I entered, it says record does not exist.
Anybody with a similar experience or an idea? Pls assist.

Good afternoon everyone, thank you for keeping this wonderful thread alive.

I have a question for the guru’s:

I actually made travel Plans for September on my d160 and booked hotel for it, and have submitted the d160. While booking the appointment there was no sep so I choose October. I have renewed the date at my hotel and got car confirmation. The problem now is how do I reactify it on my already submitted d160.

Kindly advise on way forward.
Gracias!
Is this for Lagos?

Hello all, many thanks for the great works y'all are doing here. I applied and was issued a two year B1/B2 visa while i was in the UK, and was supposed to travel to Newyork before coming back to Nigeria. However, things changed and I didn't visit the US, and the visa has now expired over a year ago. My UK visa also expired earlier this year. I intend to reapply for another B1/B2 visa for a vacation in Jul/Aug. What likely challenge (if any) am i going to face?
