I moved my baby to a cot bed at about 3 months...it's really for newborns.

At 3 months, you should have perfected the art of shielding your baby from peeps you don't really dig naa.

If you are at home, just start beastfeeding your baby once they are coming in or pretend they were fussy, so you are trying to rock them.

It's a simple procedure quite right but then, it's still called a surgical operation and best done where any unforeseen emergency can be quickly handled. Will she be bringing all the equipment to your house or how exactly does she want to go about it?

I avoided these most times by putting my baby in a moses basket which had a net and an all round zip so you could only look through the net of the basket to see the baby. Even on the christening day, she was there all day except when I wanted to brea.stfeed her and so contact was greatly minimized without offence to anybody. Luckily, the basket also had a handle with which you could carry her around without disturbing her.

It's done in the hospital but I couldn't stand seeing my son in such pain while doing it so I stayed outside. In a week to 9days,it should be off. Then you start applying penicillin ointment . My son felt the pain for few hours only on the first day and that was all.

There are several videos of the surgery on YouTube. Watch it if you aren't too emotional, it doesn't last for more than 10 mins

Its simething like a 'ring' dat ll b worn on his ododolondo. It ll fall off on its own within 5-7days. No special care required

Assuming you kpekus just once in a week, will you keep using it every day ? abi na only the day?



The plastibel is better because you dont need to do anything to it till it automatically falls off. Moreover, its wat most hospital offers now.

dear sister, pls fill ur mind with positive thoughts. most inductions are successful once parameters are in place- fully effaced and dilation taking place. relax ehn, fear sef can hinder d smooth process. *more hugs*
PS- I dont know abt d metal n attachment talks o.. durin my time, I was on natural weave but wore my earrings n rings to d hosp n removed dem after I was put on drip (for comfort)

Induction is nothing to worry about.
It's a way of starting labour and it's true dat it cld b successful or not but either way, healthy mother and baby is the priority and the goal. God dat has brought u dis far won't forsake u. One love

*hugs* no need to b afraid. I had an induction n it was interesting- I ate, strolled round d hospital, was gistin wt my peeps until d real pain started- actual labour was about 5 hrs. just relax.. its well. try long walks, ur baby may even com bfor den
