In addition to all the advice you got, please and please always support your back while breastfeeding your baby. Make sure you sit in a comfortable position, you can support your leg with a stool, carry your baby on your arms supporting it with a pillow and put him on your breast.
You take your baby to the breast not the other way round ie bending to put the breast on the baby’s mouth. This will also help with your posture.
Massage your body with hot water. Your body went through a lot to bring forth your precious baby. Your pelvic bones softened and expanded to accommodate the baby. It needs some time to readjust back to normal that is why in the olden days, you are pampered for at least 3 months after delivery. They bathe, and massage your body with Sheabutter and palm kernel oil.

@ imurboss, I saw where you wrote that you are using well woman. I don’t know your reasons but it may affect your breastmilk supply if you are breastfeeding. Why don’t you look for pregnacare for breastfeeding moms to take.
My reason is this, well woman is used to balance hormones. A breastfeeding mother’ hormones are not balanced. That’s why it serves as a contraceptive for people like us.
If you continue taking it and another one enters, don’t say you don’t know what happened oo.
I may be wrong though but read the leaflet of that well woman.

Ehen....i read it on the leaflet o & i just said let me try it first and you won't believe that when i went to see the doc on wed i told him i'm on wellwoman but i don't like the way the thing works on my system that he should prescribe another for me, the dr told me i don't even need to be taking any drug, he never even bother to tell me anything like this o,some drs sef. I usually take obron 6 before i no know whether na my village people come advise me on this one o....I will stop it, don't even like the way the thing is doing me sef...thanks maami

Yes i'm in lagos. The Matron informed me that it is only available for free in Somolu local govt for now so she directed me to one OLOJA health centre on akinsola str sungass. I've been there to make enquiry and was told it's true, they said they give will give on mondays, tuesdays and thursdays,they even asked me to come for it yesterday being thursday but couldn't make it. I plan to go next thursday God willing

In other news we went for our 14wks immunization today, 3injections at once...phewww. They've been cranky ever since but we're coping. I was so happy today when the matron advised that I can now get the 2nd dose of our rota at the health centre free, waoww I'm saving about 17k but I didn't know when I went to break this news to dh instead of collecting the money for my own keeps ...I don Bleep up sha

Try & burp him after each feed to release the gas, people suggested a lot to use but I decided to wait it out till after 3mths. If you can endure & wait it out, it's not easy but God's our strength

Hello sabi mamas this fenugreek capsules/seeds, can it also be taken as a food supplement for the mother and not just for milk production only, abeg i want to change this wellwoman i'm using. I'm suspecting it stopped my period cos the AF(i'm not even sure if it's AF or not) showed up in Nov and haven't come again since then...i don't even understand my system again

My people, thank God for me ohh. I was admitted yesterday. It started like play like play, i broke my fast at 12pm then slept because i didnt go to work so that i can monitor my baby who was ill two days ago. When i woke up i started feeling uneasy so i had to puke myself to vomit. After the vomitting i started feeling shivering and my hands and legs became dried like cat fish. I was crying and rolling on the floor and my DD was crying too being the only one at home. I called DH via whatsapp video, called my mum and they advised that i should call my driver to carry me to hospital. When i got to hospital, i was wheeled into the emergency, took my blood samples,urine,stool and all and at the same time on drip, all these happened from 5pm-11:30pm yesterday evening. After the drip, i felt better and the result came back as urinary tract infection and that was how i was discharged. If i am telling someone in my office that i was admitted yesterday, do you know that they cant believe me because i am feeling much better now. This is a testimony that my God liveth. People in the house, help me thank God ohh!!! We shall not cry over any of us in jesus name.

Happy New year mommas. Trust the year has been going on great... I came to say thanks for the reassurance. Was worried bout my baby's navel being huge and mums here reassured me that twas nothing. Anyways I can't even recall when it happened but today it's back to normal.
