most times when a guy is toasting a girl, and the girl says she is a virgin, instead of him to run as far as his legs can carry him(as some people here claim they would do), he becomes more serious with the toasting, putting double effort so that he would have a taste of the virgin. when he finally get's the girl to date him, and the girl refuses to have intimacy with him, he starts shouting unnecessarily(like the poster is doing now)

yeah i agree with the posts above no rational man would beat up a woman and i think the practise is more common among the edo men(i'm not trying to be biase by specifying edo men o,i'm also from edo state) especially the ones born and bred in the village.Real men don't beat up their wives!

fellow nairalanders! i'm just wondering what is it a woman can do to a man to warrant beating her up? or what is it that can actually upset a man to make him beat up his wife all the time? this has been baffling me for some time now as i think this has now become a common trend or practise among most men,please i need your sincere answers!

the man should have the ring back since it didn't serve the original purpose it was meant to fulfill i.e sealing the relationship,i think it would keep giving the lady bad memories of that particular event so no point keeping it!

I think virginity has lost its place and value in our society even when u try to keep it u will be castigated until u loose it,imagine ur boyfriend asking u if u were alright for keeping ur virginity. I mean, no one appreciates u or cares about u keeping it or not!
