Valve body already replaced.

Replace Gearbox.

Case closed.

If you are to go this route, pls take proper note of the engine in your car(I mean the 4 cylinder variant)
The k24 engines are of two types, Z2 and Z3. This is important because they have different ECUs and different transmissions that have different ratios.

He has scanned already. No codes according to him. But I think he might need a diagnostic equipment and not just a code reader as codes might be pending.
I think you may have a defective valve body, from a mechanical standpoint. What kind of fluid have you been using? And when last was it changed before this started happening? Any impact that affected the transmission area?

And how are you sure it is skipping second? Maybe it is forcefully engaging second? Skipping gears might bring up gear incorrect ratio codes.

Congrats bro.
I had a similar issue with a 2009 Honda accord i owned in 2015( sold now)

Driving one day, then bam! battery light came on(wetin happen?) lucilky i was close to the house so i managed it home.

The next day i 'limped' the car to Ikoku, replaced with another alternator... same s.hit.

Na so i start diagnostics for there o..Luckily there was a rewire who was humble enough to let me work with him on the matter.Luckily i had The accord service manual pdf on my tab , naso i begin jack o!

We later found out that there was an earthing from the ECU to a specific terminal of the alternator (cant remember whcih one again)that was open. we then traced the wire to the ECU and found the harness was ok. the alternator was then earthed directly from the terminal and boom! battery light went off and car could run with battery terminal off.
It was later discovered that The ECU had been flooded with water and later dried( car was bought Naija used).So the ECU was obviously the culprit.( this later explained the harsh gear engagement and annoying engine vibration i was getting from the car since the day i bought it)

Replaced ECU and car became fine till i sold it.

4. ABS pump module( Specific for ONLY Hybrid models)

First picture is a camry hybrid engine bay( see ABS pump module and compare with OP's picture

2nd picture is the Normal 4 cylinder camry engine bay

Engine and gearbox was replaced from the Hybrid engine(Stirling's cycle)+gear to the normal camry engine(Otto's cycle) +gear

Yes sir.
truth is that most conversions that we witness are usually poorly done, to cut corners.

This was done very well. the only giveaway was the dashboard.

Yes sir. easy to convert since it is automatic. The shift knob and lever can be swapped to a LHD one.

This is Asian spec Camry from countries like Singapore most of them are 2.0l .

The dashboard gives it up. see below the dashboard of a 2008 Toyota Aurion( The name this car started life as). Note the wood trim as it flows from the doors to the dashboard. Also note the center console. This dashboard is very rare to find in LHD configuration.

Now compare with your usual Camry dashboard and see the difference( second picture). This Camry for sale was a dead giveaway from looking at the door trim flowing to the dashboard. The window control switches was simply swapped to that for LHD configuration.
If i was to convert this car, i would ensure that not a single trace of the RHD configuration is left.( i would have swapped the complete interior door trim for the two front doors).

However the conversion was well done cosmetically.

The body work was what i was referring to as crappy.

By the way, this ride has been converted. The dashboard was changed due to inability of sourcing the LHD equivalent....
