As you grow older, you realise why our parents marriages that were majorly a product of matchmaking thrived and ours or marriages since the advent of Nollywood or internet in Nigeria built on love is failing. Honestly, you would have laid a path for your future early the earlier you realise this Gerrard59: |
Chief, I agree with your take on fewer children but I generally don’t consider it as much a factor in the entrenchment of poverty in our country today as the retrogressive government policies. My point being, if you live in the Southern part or come from here, most families consist of majorly 2-3 children. Occasionally, you might see a 4-5 children Also, most couples practice child spacing, with the usual being 2 to 3 years gap and occasionally, you might find 5-10 years gap between siblings. So, I don’t generally consider Nigerians, especially Southern Nigerians as birthing too many children or the usual 2-4 children as a contributing factor for poverty in Southern Nigeria especially. In the North?, yes. I agree it is but not in the South. Secondly, if you don’t believe the 2015 elections was rigged, then I have a land to sell to you at Aso Rock. To the extent that a sitting president had to complain of external interference in the elections. Specifically, the Obama led government of The USA. Yes, some low IQ literate people voted the APC then but there’s no way they were in the majority. Gerrard59: |
Can they not install a network jamming device or system at the planes? |
I guess you’re very rich now? piagetskinner: |
Chief, I acknowledge your point. However, I don’t think we have over 130million Nigerians that are multidimensionally poor today because they gave birth to more than 2 children or married someone under the excruciating burden of bad government policies like themselves. I’m not disputing the fact that indeed, some people are lazy but they’re just a tiny minority of the vast poor population of Nigeria.something like 1 in a thousand. I maintain that the primary cause of poverty in Nigeria is government policies. As a country, we all agree that we’re one good President away from becoming a developing country or at least getting the basics right. but, still somehow find a way to excuse the thieving and unpatriotic, inefficient government and elites. franchasng: |
Chief, a majority of Nigerians poverty is caused by bad government policies and not these things you listed below. A country of such large population and landmass like Nigeria has its only truly functional seaports in one state of the entire federation. How many of such retrogressive policies will I mention?. Do you know how many graduates are roaming the streets after up to 10yrs post grad without jobs? And you dare insinuate they’re lazy or not working hard or smart enough?. Do you know how many graduates that are driving buses/Keke or doing dispatch rides and earning less than 200k per month?. Nothing breeds poverty like government policies and we’ve had it worst since 2015. franchasng: |
Must you have an opinion on all topics?. Where have you seen a Nigerian watching TV all day since the past 30years?. Even if they want to watch to all day, where’s the electricity?. Don’t be too proud of the mercies of God on your life by thinking others are not working hard or hard enough or even smart enough… surviving in Nigeria takes more than hard and smart work. brain54: |
Imagine the government now instituting a cultural carnival because there’s non worthy of celebration before now?😂😂. Lagos is indeed a no man’s land |
80% of what you listed here is pure rubbish. Transactions fail and it’s due to the bank’s network and not necessarily a result of the POS agent and not usually a scam. Secondly, most POS agents buy the cash they give you when you go to make a withdrawal. How do you expect them to meet up while charging you 50 naira and printing out receipts for you too?. People should be careful alright, but they should be more careful of scaremongers like you. |
They’re being reused for zobo drinks, homemade liquid soaps etc. On a serious note, they’re being recycled but we don’t know where the recycling plants are😂 |
Who make our Supreme Court Governor vex?😂😂😂. This noise or good policy will only end in the newspapers. That I’m sure of. |
Calafioriiiiiiiii goal |
Reno Omokri keeps posting different topics here with different names…. He’s earning his pay sha😂😂 |
You mean same Sowore that’s a tool for the APC government?. Same Sowere that fixes protests dates and venues whenever the government senses the people are on the verge of protests?😂. Only those that don’t know better takes Sowere serious. Same character that endorsed a BuharI against a GEJ?. Come on. The guy is a treacherous snake as those he comes in the same region with. Nigerians know them |
He’s an entrepreneur or works in the biggest industry in the southwest. He should not be lynched or arrested oo . He’s contributing to the regions IGR drive. |
Eminently from a particular section of the country….. the church RCCG seem to be holding the fort in the Christian front, while the “eminent” Traditional rulers hold those of the traditionalists but all for the same purpose of the man in Aso rock.😂😂. We know the game. We’ve seen it over time. |
Lagos state officials were displaying what Lagos state officials has come to be known for later and were rightly restrained from going about their business of illegality. What is their business with trying to gain forceful entry to a private business when their duty is strictly ensuring proper parking of vehicles outside the business premises?. Well, we know the people that are noted for criminality and agberoism |
These people are very terrible people…. Imagine a Tinubu led administration suspending the pilots because they don’t want K1 to look totally terrible like he truly is. |
Such stereotype coming from someone who’s tribesmen constitute 80% of death row inmates in Saudi Arabia, a region with 99% fraud convictions in the US, 99% fraud convictions in the UK and Canada, a region with convicts serving as Governors and Senators. A region that tarnished Nigerias image by foisting on the country a convicted drug baron?. Just take a look at the mirror Madam Abike. May tribalism not kpai people from that particular tribe. |
And your president would be breathing if Nigeria is China?…. What’s the punishment for drugs peddling in China?. Softmirror: |
Imagine questioning a private citizen on how he donated his own personal money….. Obi has been donating long before he became Governor and more after he became Governor. Show us how Tinubu has been donating 😂😂😂. Clowns |
Is there a lie whatsoever in what I said?…. May you find peace too🙏🏿 Wealthoptulent: |
Yoruba land is a very dangerous place… especially with the tens of thousands reported cases of missing persons who are feared to have been unalived by ritualists in what many people have now termed skull mining factories. I pray she’s found but chances are slim, especially when we consider the place she was last seen. |
Lagos and indeed the entire Southwest won’t realise the damage Tinubu has done to how the rest of the country sees them till the next 3 years. |
If a Minister can brazenly loot like this in public view because he knows how he contributed to the illegitimate emergence of BAT, you can only imagine how America is milking us dry with the Cocoa and oluwole certificate leverage they have on our President….🥲 |
Things I agree with…. Zoning of the presidency by geopolitical zones, state police and at least one more state for the Southeast. |
