No court but Obaseki's house of assembly members issue it and can't be higher than the court. Only another court can do and Obaseki has appeal that in court of appeal Benin and he will likely get a favourable judgement against his deputy but supreme court will last last favour Shaibu. Obaseki na just mumu, who never listen to people. How can a deputy be given you sleepless night before the primaries.

The appeal is filed in Abuja not Benin.

There's no need for the haste anymore. The job has been done already. Next is to reject the motion for stay of execution and adjourn the hearing of the substance on Appeal till after the election. This gives philip all the powers needed to work for the APC in the election. Simple!

It is the same court (High Court) that gave the judgement that will determine whether a stay of execution of the judgement is merited or not. Not the Appeal Court.

Your assertion is false please. The Appeal court hears motion of stay of execution of the judgement of the lower court and has the powers to decide whether to grant or reject same.

Stay of execution will be rejected. It'll never be granted. This matter don enter high wire politics for Abuja. They'll dismiss the motion for stay of execution and adjourn to a later date to hear the main appeal. This will keep philip shaibu as the authentic deputy governor of Edo state until the substance of the appeal is distilled. Walahi, the appeal court pronouncements may not come until after the election. Philip has already has his full security details restored today. He'll use his office to work for the APC in the election. It's a game and obaseki will be outplayed this time because Tinubu is not Buhari.

Dey play....did you see the speed with which this judgement was delivered? You think it's ordinary? The powers that be can make judgement happen at the appeal court in few weeks. I remember oshiomhole court case then, when he was removed as chairman of Apc. Appeal court rush the matter like sharwama.
