There's nothing any governor can do in such a killing unless the FG give absolute control of the state security forces to him.

Even here in Lagos, Sanwo-Olu still never answer the question ....Who ordered the killings of innocent protesters at Lekki till Gate?

That's how lame all the governors are when it comes to security issues. They can only talk and react to security incidences. They cannot prevent it. The system is not in their power.

Stop this cheap excuse. Amotekun is not a federal government security apparatus. They're doing a great job in the south west.

The governor receives security vote every month, let him set up a local security network within the area. Put the personel on salaries and train them on the use of pump action, give them patrol vehicles. They'll have a link to the police and military divisions close by in case the need for back up arises.

There are youths in those communities that are willing to protect their communities. From the 28 communities recently sacked, the governor can get at least 1,000 willing youths. These things are not rocket science.

Let's stop making excuses for incompetence in this country.

In politics, nothing is Certain or Fixed. There's always space for common sense. As much as we practice Zoning in Delta, there are certain areas where we all pretend not to notice it's not being zoned.

Every Right thinking Individual would rather have Atiku than Wike as President.

Emphasis on "right thinking Individual."

The emphasis is on zoning not individuals. If he doesn't like Wike, what happened to Obi. Why did he not support another southern candidate? Why Atiku another northerner after Buhari?

The point is, all politicians pander to self interest. Forget long talk!

Yes. I admire how he's insistent on power Rotating Amongst the Senatorial Zones. Something he picked up from Delta state.
That zoning reduces Chaos and fosters unity

And he supported Atiku? Power rotation indeed! What's the definition of hypocrisy again?

LP don't exist. They're confusing LP with the Obidient movement. They're two different things. People rallied round Obi because they wanted something different. After the presidential election, LP disappeared into oblivion.

Eventhough PDP dey mumu, they're still the major opposition party in Nigeria. You can see that in the number of national assembly members and governors they have across Nigeria.

True and he looks too calm to be a kidnapper almost losing his victim ......

I belive she has mental issues , and he the driver probably thought it best to secure her from inside , plus this looks like a family car and not one for kidnap(too much space) plus e no dey hard Nigerians gather themselves at the slightest suspicion of a kidnap , hence the reason the X OP did not necessarily raise alarm as he would have if it was let's say his daughter been kidnapped . plus it would be easier just knocking her out instead of taking such risk of leaving the door opened and her awake , plus the X OP maes the story sound very sensational for a kidnap , again these are my speculations from viewing the facts of the case

I don't think it's a kidnapping scene. More like a family dispute. In a typical kidnap scenerio, everybody knows their duties. The driver would not leave his steering to attend to the kidnapped victim. There'll be somebody with her in the back seat to do the job.

you don't have sense. You think Wike has the support of all federal government architecture? So you don't know that Akpabio, Amaechi , Fayemi etc have already strategized in caging Wike's influence in APC? So if you are Akpabio, you will allow Wike to grow influence in Apc so he can come hijack the leadership of APC in South South which Akpabio is the current leader of South South APC.

Politics is not for kids like you. You don't have Sense, pack well

Where all these dunce from dey come out sef? Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 mugus too many here aswear 🤣🤣🤣🤣

If you're not truly brain dead, you would've known that Amaechi has no recognition or relevance in this government. Fayemi is of no relevance in this government too. He couldn't even influence ministerial nominee from his Ekiti State neither was he picked eventhough he wanted to be in the cabinet.

Akpabio is wike's right hand man. Somebody that helped Wike to amend the NDDC act in 24hrs to allow Boma, wike's man from Rivers State to be appointed as director of finance in NDDC. U be big MUGU!

If you look at the resolution by the president, you'll know that the presidency is fully behind Wike and the APC lawmakers in Rivers State.

Infact for mentioning Amaechi in this conversation at all, you're a big mu....mu. Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Most of you here truly need brain replacement surgery. Your brains are dead honestly.

So you didn't notice in all these crisis that the APC law makers have their own security cover from powers above? You don't know it's the federal government that controls the police, army, DSS,nscdc etc? Have you heard about AIG Joseph Mbu former CP of Rivers State?

U be real blockheaded mugu! I don't know what you empty brains are doing on nairaland instead of reading your high school books. Mtcheeeew

You sef, try to learn naa, in the event of a crisis like this in any state house of assembly, it is the house of representatives that takes over the affair as in the constitution not senate

(4) At any time when any House of Assembly of a State is unable to perform its functions by reason of the situation prevailing in that State, the National Assembly may make such laws for the peace, order and good government of that State with respect to matters on which a House of Assembly may make laws as may appear to the National Assembly to be necessary or expedient until such time as the House of Assembly is able to resume its functions; and any such laws enacted by the National Assembly pursuant to this section shall have effect as if they were laws enacted by the House of Assembly of the State:

Provided that nothing in this section shall be construed as conferring on the National Assembly power to remove the Governor or the Deputy Governor of the State from office.

Dunce! Why una dull like this? Section 11 sub 4 is clear enough. It's the national assembly ably led by the senate President that makes law on behalf of the state assembly when they're unable to sit. Where in this section did you see house of representatives?

Most of you here should be busy with their high school books honestly. I don't know what you're doing here show casing arrant illiteracy and zenith ignorance.
