Over the last couple of days, the media has been awash with one of the most frivolous, creepy and outlandish blackmail efforts, targeting the good name of Apostle Johnson Suleman. It is not surprising that this recent intimidation attempt is coming weeks after the DSS brouhaha.

It is however very important that we educate the public regarding certain very important facts:

To start with, Apostle Johnson Suleman has never had any face-to-face contact with the said lady. The stories she is selling to public exists only in her thoughts and in the imaginations of her paymasters.

The said lady reached out to the Apostle and appealed for help to quit her prostituting lifestyle, and the Apostle provided help to her, with the knowledge and express permission of his wife, Dr. Lizzy Suleman. There was nothing exceptional about her case, as Apostle Johnson Suleman and his wife are well-known for their good heart in helping the needy by the grace of God. While help was being rendered to the said lady, she never had the privilege of having a face-to-face physical contact directly with the Apostle.

Over a month ago, the said lady and her boyfriend tried reaching out to the Apostle with threat to blackmail him, and the Apostle encouraged them to go ahead. The Apostle reported the situation to security agencies who have been on the trail of the lady and finally got her questioned and arrested. The sting operation that got the said lady and her boyfriend arrested was planned and executed by the law enforcement officers, and not by Apostle Johnson Suleman or his team.

It is evident to all and sundry that this blackmail effort is politically engineered at humiliating the Apostle and muzzling him from speaking for the Christian community. This obviously is the next plan on their evil scheme. It will fail colossally.

As part of their strategy, they believe when you blackmail a respected man of God with issues relating to immorality, his supporters will dissert him, and then it will become easier for the attackers to launch the next phase of their plans against the body of Christ and her leaders. But, we wish to let them know, we stand more united than ever, and no attempt to blackmail or intimidate Apostle Johnson Suleman or any leader of the Christian community will yield any positive result for them. This recent attempt will fail like others.

It is not surprising that the principal media platform being used for this mindless blackmail effort is ‘Sahara Reporters’, an online media platform reputed for blackmail, intimidation and malicious propaganda stories. It is no news that Sahara Reporters has no credibility within Nigeria and beyond, and no responsible individual or media house takes seriously any information originating from their platform. The publisher of the jest called ‘Sahara Reporters’ was only recently publicly disgraced and arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department in Lagos – Nigeria, and subsequently dragged to court for allegations bothering on blackmail, criminal defamation and threat to life by one Lekan Fatodu.

Interestingly, the co-blackmailer that was equally crafted for this poorly strategized job is the legendary blackmailer and failed legal practitioner, Mr. Festus Keyamo. This is a lawyer who has no credibility, authority or reliability in the community of lawyers in Nigeria. Nothing associated with him is ever taken with importance. Little wonder the government of Nigeria has continually overlooked him as others (including his juniors) are honored as members of SAN (Senior Advocate of Nigeria). Obviously, giving such honour to him will be tantamount to legalizing a felonious and morally bankrupt personality.

This much explains the morally bankrupt character of some of the individuals fronting with this blackmail tale.

We wish to reassure the public that this demonic and callous attempt at ridiculing and blackmailing Apostle Johnson Suleman will fail just like others. Let’s not be distracted by Photoshop images being circulated by these blackmailers and their paymasters.

The sponsors of this disdainful and sardonic act have an agenda; to discredit Apostle Johnson Suleman, so he won’t have a voice to speak for and on behalf of the body of Christ like he has always fearlessly done, and they also seek to cause division and confusion within the body of Christ. They believe that when you strike the shepherd, the sheep will scatter. However, let it be known to them that we are smarter, wiser and stronger than they imagine.

Our confidence remains on God’s word in Psalms 27:1-3: “The lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the enemies, even mine enemies and my foes came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear, though war should arise against me, in this will I be confident.”

Let’s continue praying for Apostle Johnson Suleman. Let’s continue praying for the Church. Indeed, we are winning!

An Igbo traditional ruler, Prince Ozo R.S Okafor just arrived the ECOWAS court premises in Abuja to drum support and show solidarity with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB; Nnamdi Kanu ahead of his hearing today. The monarch was hailed by other pro-Biafra members in high spirits before he was offered a seat to wait for the main sitting of the court.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has recovered jewelleries worth millions of Naira from the house of one Akka Babba Danagundi, brother- in -law to a former National Security Adviser to Late President, Umar Musa Yar’aduwa, Major General Abdullahi Sarki Mukhtar.

The jewelleries were found in a fireproof safe hidden in a house belonging to one Akka Babba Danagundi at No. 375, Gwangwazo quarters of Kano Municipal, Kano State. About 50 documents in respect of landed properties bearing the name of the former NSA and his wife, Binta Sarki Mukhtar were also discovered.

The discovery was sequel to an intelligence report alleging that huge sums of money including foreign currencies were hidden in the premises

During the operation, Aiko Fireproof safe and seven suspects including the house owner, Danagundi were arrested and brought to EFCC 's Kano Zonal Office where their statements was taken.

On arriving at the commission’s Kano Zonal Office, the safe was opened and jewelleries such as necklaces and wristwatches including 50 Certificates of Occupancy for properties located in Kano, Kaduna and Abuja were found. The jewelleries found includes 55 wristwatches, including three gold watches.Also 37 gold jewellery weighing 1,907.9g and another 15 pieces of fashion jewelleries were found.

All the suspects arrested during the operation were released on administrative bail with the exception of Danagundi who is still in custody, assisting the investigation.

The prophet of God released a word of prophecy upon the church in search of someone who was suffering with the spiritual husband, as he spoke Mrs Christinah Maila came to the front and said that she is the one suffering from the spiritual husband.

The prophet of God further explained that "this spirit is causing man to be afraid of you and there is a tension between you and your husband there is no peace you always fight; and you have been in periods for a quiet a longer period now". Mrs Maila confirmed the prophecy to be true and further explained that it has been almost two weeks.

As the Prophet of God prayed for her, he said "there is something inside her and immediately after prayer it will cause Ms Maila to go to toilet and they will get out of her system. He delivered her and declared her free.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has airlifted some stranded Nigerians in Mali back home. The Nigerian Embassy in Bamako leveraged on the NAF Charlie-130 Hercules aircraft to airlift these Nigerians that were victims of human trafficking.

The deportees range between 16 - 28 years of age were received on arrival in Nigeria by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Diaspora and Foreign Affairs, Mrs Abike Dabiri Erewa and officials of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

The successful repatriation of these Nigerians was as a result of collaboration between the Nigerian Embassy and the Malian authorities anchored on mutual agreement. The Nigeria Consular Officer in Mali, Mr Abubakar Audu accompanied the deportees to Nigeria.

'Nigeria is a country of savages and animals' -Nnamdi Kanu thundered in court today. The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu was today arraigned at the Federal High Court Abuja. The IPOB leader was visibly angry as he left the court after the judge handling the case, Hon. Ms Binta Nyako dismissed six count of the eleven count charges preferred against Nnmadi Kanu, as well as three other accused persons for lack of proof of evidence.

Before entering his vehicle back to prison after the verdict, Nnamdi Kanu said; " I have come to court today in a country where the law enforcement agencies do not obey the law. You heard the judge Binta Nyako said it in her court today, they don't obey the law. NIGERIA is a COUNTRY of savages and animals".

He is known as Chairman or Young Barrister because of how he dignify his micro business. This young man will surely remind many of us "the good old days in school". Abubakar is an indigene of Sokoto State and he is out of school because he could not pay his school fees.

A Nigerian man identified as Ebenezer Tosin Oloba from Lagos and one Oscar Felipe Fuentes have died after being involved in a fatal accident on their way to a student government conference in College Station, Texas on Saturday. For reasons unknown, their vehicle went off the highway and plunged into the San Antonio River.

Fuentes, 19, of Kingsville, and Oloba, 23, of Snellville, Ga., who drove the vehicle, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on U.S. 77 near Farm-to-Market Road near the Victoria-Refugio county line Sunday afternoon. They were both students at Texas A&M University-Kingsville TAMUK .

The TAMUK Student Government Association, of which Oloba and Fuentes were members, planned to hold a candlelight vigil in honor of the two students at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, in front of the Javelina statues on University Boulevard.

Honesty really pays. A housekeeper identified as Mr Williams Nwosu, was recently blessed by a man who appreciated his honesty after he found and returned his lost property. According to a post shared on Facebook by Iroegbu Emenike, a man identified as Mr Williams Nwosu, recently became the recipient of a car following an act of kindness.

In furtherance of the fight against the pollution of the Rivers environment by Particulate Matter, popularly referred to as 'black soot', Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Friday ordered the arrest of 15 mechanics engaged in illegal burning of used tyres and condemned engine oil.

The governor who ran into the mass illegal burning of tyres and condemned engine oil on Aba Road around the Oyigbo axis.
Governor Wike who was returning from Oyigbo where he attended the funeral service of Late Sir Precious Oforji was attracted by the inferno which emitted a tick smoke into the atmosphere.

He directed his motorcade to stop. He went into the large mechanic workshop where the mechanics had used an open field to burn the tyres and condemned engine oil.

The governor who was in the company of the Former Acting National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, Rivers State PDP Chairman, Bro Felix Obuah and Former Rivers State Governor, Sir Celestine Omehia directed the State Fire Service to put out the fire.

He also stated that immediate steps be taken to ensure that the fire did not spread to neighbouring houses in the area.
On the arrest of the mechanics polluting the environment, he said that the State Government will liaise with relevant security agencies to ensure they are prosecuted.

Governor Wike noted that his administration is working with all stakeholders to ensure that the black soot polluting the atmosphere is brought under control.

He said nobody will be allowed to endanger the lives of the people of the state through harmful environmental practices.
The governor assured the people of Rivers State that the Task Force set up to tackle the black soot had been duly empowered to ensure that the state's environment is safe for all residents.
