@Kelvinj, Dr finn, queeneve: Thank you for your compliments, I really appreciate it. @Tusky44: Your reason(s) for being disappointed is beyond me. I don't understand nor do I care to understand why you are "disappointed". He [MOBO444] asked me [and several other women] questions and I answered them so what did I do that was so wrong? Since apparently you "respect" women more when they talk less about "equality" I guess your respect means nothing to me and yes I know you don't care that it means nothing to me. I didn't see you calling out MOBO444 when he was trying to be the poster child for the supposed inequality of the banking system within Nigeria. MOBO444 talks crap about women constantly yet the moment I say something to him then all of a sudden I'm "too hard". To hell with that. @--190-- : No, I don't hate you. Your just annoy at times. @Saintp: With all due respect, I understand that you think that I shouldn't have responded to MOBO444's idiotic post, but I didn't really see the harm in answering. I know mama-gee wouldn't have answered, but her an I are two different people. If my response to you in this comment comes across as mean, then please forgive me. Those are not my intentions. @everyone else: I know some of you think that in my response that I came across as bitter or angry, but I wasn't. I thought his idiotic post was assuming. I don't feel that I was harsh with my response to MOBO444. @derolly: derolly:Thank you for the compliment. And yes, you're right. I am protective about my identity. I mean lets be honest, there are some really sheisty people on Nairaland. Some of the things that I've seen transpire on this site makes a gal think twice about wanting to befriend anyone outside of Nairaland. |

Hehehe, I'm liking the discussion already. I'll be back to this thread in a bit to throw in my two cents. |
Omolola1:I want to wait a while before I respond. There are a couple of things going through my mind at the moment about this topic. |
googles:Nice points googles ![]() |
Hehehe, good question femmy. I wanna see how people reply to this. |
Spyker:The size of your manhood "down there". |
SA Goddess:Good for you . I'm more into using natural methods of caring for my hair. For example, I don't use shampoo or conditioner and I make my own hair styling products. To wash my hair, I use black soap or castile soap. Then to condition, I use avocado and honey or extra virgin olive oil. For moisturizer, I use shea butter, and for styling it varies depending on what I want do with my hair. All in all, I try to keep it as natural and as simple as possible. It a lot cheaper and healthier than buying products that are loaded with tons of chemicals. |
Gamine:Well, over the past couple of months I haven't exactly been nice to my hair. While I was in London last year, I decided to cut my hair but my family freaked out and talked me out of it [lol] so because of them nearly having a heart attack, I postponed it. Now, I'm ready to do it again. Its grown quite a bit over the past couple of months and I want some change. Your gonna love it when you do the BC, trust me . |
Yes, it is a bad thing. That sort of behavior will allow people to take advantage of you and walk all over you. There is nothing wrong with giving. You just need to so it in a manner that doesn't allow other to believe that you're some sort of push over. Hope that helps. |
ice234:Nice one ![]() |
Marhoski:Hehehe |
googles:Of course, for some when they hear it, it goes in one ear and out the other. |
Marhoski:lol, you go catch am. |

Marhoski:And what is it that you think that I think? |
Marhoski:looool, smh. |
SA Goddess:Same here. Besides, I don't know how to take care of relaxed and weaved hair. The whole thing is just mind boggling. |
REALITY101:Definition of fast food: 1: of, relating to, or specializing in food that can be prepared and served quickly <a fast–food restaurant> 2: designed for ready availability, use, or consumption and with little consideration given to quality or significance <fast–food TV programming> Some examples of fast food restaurants are Wendy's, Burger King, McDonald's, Taco Bell, and many more. |
[quote author=s.ohiemi link=topic=510677.msg6723770#msg6723770 date=1284011695]@inked wat is asexual?[/quote]When I say asexual, I don't mean it in the biological sense as only one parent is involved in asexual reproduction [just wanted to make sure I differentiated] An asexual is someone who does not experience sexual attraction. Unlike celibacy, which people choose, asexuality is an intrinsic part of who we are. Asexuality does not make our lives any worse or any better, we just face a different set of challenges than most sexual people. There is considerable diversity among the asexual community; each asexual person experiences things like relationships, attraction, and arousal somewhat differently. Asexuality is just beginning to be the subject of scientific research |
SA Goddess:Yes, I would cut my hair. I've done it before. About 2 ½ years ago, I cut all of my shoulder length hair off. It was a wonderful feeling because everyone was so used to me having shoulder length hair. I have natural unrelaxed/unpermed natural hair. In about a week and a half. I'll be cutting my hair again. I look forward to it. I've already made an appointment at a natural hair salon. I've never had a weave either. The idea of sewing, gluing, or bonding any type of artificial hair to my head is quite mind boggling. I never really understood why women [and some men] do it. Hehehe, I guess the way I look at weave is the same way that relaxed and weaved women look at me and my natural hair. I'm comfortable having my hair short or long. Either way is fine for me. |
Omg, a natural hair thread |
Hmmm, I got nothing. They think I'm asexual. . . ![]() |
Eating fast food does mean you can't cook. I eat at Chipotle once or twice [at the most three] times a week but it doesn't mean that I can't cook, I just enjoy the food there. Eating/enjoying fast food is based on a persons individual liking. It has nothing to do with whether to not you can or can't cook. |
