Dave's ex-wife Ashley paid tribute to Heather earlier this year.

She told Mirror Online: "Heather was adored and loved and treasured by my girls. She truly was the greatest stepmom. I honestly couldn't have hand-picked a better one."

The mum, who has since remarried and runs a photography firm went on to describe her emotional last moments with Heather as she lay in hospital.

"I held her hand, kissed her cheek, and told her that I was so very lucky, that my babies were so very lucky, for all the moments we had with her. I told her that I would keep her alive in our hearts and our memories. And I told her I loved her. She squeezed my hand and with all the energy she could muster, she said to me, 'I love you, Ash'."

No-one knows how to react. We cut the cake and we had a nice moment there. For me, it was like torture, knowing what's just around the corner."



Dave was previously married to Ashley Mosher and they have two daughters, Sophia, 8, and Molly, 6. His ex-wife was present at the wedding with their kids and she took breathtaking pictures of the wedding.



Dave said that he had met with doctors before tying the knot.

"I had met with them a few hours before the wedding and asked, 'What are we looking at here?'" he said.

"They said, 'She's going to pass before the week's over'."

Dave from East Windsor, Connecticut, married Heather, who he calls his soulmate, in the hospital's chapel in Connecticut, US, on Friday, December 22 last year, as his two little girls proudly looked on. Despite wearing an oxygen mask to help her breathe, Heather smiled, laughed and shared tender embraces with loved ones throughout the day.

A groom who got married to his sick bride only to watch her die 18 hours later has now spoken of his devastation.


Dave Mosher, 35, married Heather Lindsay Mosher, 31, with the knowledge that those were her final moments. He watched her smile as she lay on her sick bed and threw up her arms into the air triumphantly after they exchanged their vows. But beneath his smile was a feeling of "torture" for he knew she has only a short while to live.


18 hours later, Dave held the hands of his new wife as she breathed her last following a year-long cancer battle. Heather had been battling an aggressive type of breast cancer, known as triple negative breast cancer, for a year when she died.

Now, seven months on, Dave has bravely spoken out about his and Heather's wedding day and the devastating hours that followed.

"The wedding was torture for me," he told Mirror Online.

"Here I am - I'm in the final hours. I was a wreck throughout the service. We had to stop several times because Heather couldn't breathe. We then went back to her hospital room for the reception.

"On one side of the room we have food and cake and pictures - and on the other side of the room we have Heather who is hours away from dying.

Another accident has occurred on Otedola bridge close to the place where a fuel tanker explosion claimed lots of lives and properties along Lagos-Ibadan expressway yesterday.

According to witnesses, two buses moving in opposite directions collided. Fortunately, no lives were lost, though about 10 passengers were injured and had to be rushed to the hospital.

A lady is need of $3000 for her dog's surgery and she has taken to Twitter to ask friends for help.

The lady identified as Taylie Dominique who has since opened a Gofundme account, explained that her dog named Smallz was attacked by two other dogs, and in that process, his jaw was broken and fractured.

So far, she has been able to raise $1,130 of the $3,000 goal.

XXXtentacion's alleged murderer Dedrick Devonshay Williams was reportedly assaulted and raped at the Broward County jail, where he's being held without bond.

The 22-year-old local tattoo artist also known as Tattoman Chuckie, was last week charged with first-degree murder without premeditation, a probation violation and for not having a valid driver's license and was ordered to be held without bond.



According to a report published on Hip-Hop Overload, Dedrick Williams who is said to be one three persons that killed the 20-year-old rapper last week Monday was assaulted and raped.

It was also claimed in the report that Dedrick was attacked by rapper Kodak Black's friends in prison.

Daniel Essien, a barber has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly defiling a six- year- old girl at Alagbole area of Akute.

He was picked up after Mrs Ayoola Tolulope, the mother of the girl, lodged a complaint. Tolulope reported that she was called by her child’s school teacher to be watchful of her daughter because the girl confided in her that a man has been abusing her sexuallly.


This made her interrogate the victim on her arrival from school, and she told her that it was Essien, a barber in the neighborhood who has had abused her three times. The suspect was promptly arrested and he confessed to the crime.

On hearing this, the whole neighborhood was filled with sadness of this evil act done by this woman. A search was conducted at all the refuse dumps within the area. Finally the corpse of the child was found, with several bruises, confirming what her brother told them.

The woman has been handed over to security agents at B division of the police Force for further investigation.

One Miss Elohoh, said to be a plantain seller allegedly killed her newborn baby boy hours after delivery on Monday, November 27.

Elohoh, said to be in her late 20s, resides with her mother and siblings at No 1 omohwovo street, Iwhrekpokpo in Ughelli North, Delta State. Below is the report posted on Facebook:

Report has it that she put to bed a handsome baby boy late in the evening of Monday, in her house without aid or assistance from neighbor’s or midwife. But the cry of the baby attracted the attention of one of the neighbor’s, who called on others to share the good news. On arrival they saw that the door was locked and Miss Elohoh refused to open the door, but on the persistence of one of her siblings, she opened the door.

The kind hearted neighbor did a marathon in getting some of the needed materials, like cloths and food for the baby and mother since she didn't buy any. Jubilation was agog with the arrival of the bouncing baby boy.

After the celebration, everyone went home leaving Elohoh and one of her siblings at home, since their mom was not home that day, the hopes that they'd check on her the following morning.

Thr following day, the neighbors showed up to see how Elohoh and her baby were doing, only to find out that there was no baby anywhere.

They asked Elohoh about the child and she claimed that the child's father came late in the night and took the baby away, having noticed that the child was not breathing well.


The neighbors could not believe the story Elohoh gave and decided to interrogate her, she held on to the same story until one of them suggested that they ask her sibling what actually happened to the child.

And now this is the story as told by him. He said late in the night when everyone was gone, Elohor boiled water and forced it on the child to kill him but she ended up scalding the baby's entire mouth of the day old child.

As If that was not enough, when the child defied death, she took a rag and tied it around the child's nose and mouth which suffocated the child. When she noticed that the child was dead she took the body and put him in a sack which had trash in it, including plantain peels then gave it to an insane man to throw off early in the morning as refuse.

Five killed as truck collides with vehicle along Eket Oron Road

Five persons were killed and several others injured when a truck collided with a Volvo Wagon along Eket Oron Road close to Niger Pet Structures Limited.

The incident took place on Saturday, November 25. Three of the victims have been identified as a couple and their young daughter.

Bodies of the deceased were deposited at Emmanuel General hospital in Eket,nAkwa Ibom State.

A DJ hired to perform at a burial ceremony in Anambra was reportedly killed by a stray bullet from the gun of a vigilante operative.

The burial ceremony for Evangelist Vitalis Ihemeje was taking place in Alaife Umuaku Uli, in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State and Lotachukwu Nwagboso, a 34-year-old father-of-four, was playing music at the event when he was allegedly killed by one Ibeanozie, who is presently at large.

Nwagboso, from Ndikpo Umuaku Uli, was hit by a stray bullet when the vigilante operative put his gun on his motorcycle while trying to start the bike and the gun went off. Nwagboso died on the spot. The incident sparked outrage as youths of Ndikpo went on a rampage, destroying property and pulling down houses belonging to the suspect, as well as those of the family that organized the ceremony of their father.

The elder brother of the suspect, Ifeanyi Ibeanozie, said they were friends to the bereaved family, hence their commitment to ensure the success of the burial. He insisted that the shooting was not a deliberate act.

Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, Princess Nkiruka Nwode, confirmed the incident. She called on community leaders to be mindful of the kind of people they appoint as members of the vigilante and implored the people to give the Police information that will help in apprehending the suspect.

The family of Bilyaminu Bello, the son of ex-PDP chairman, Haliru Bello, who was recently stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam Sanda, have finally broken their silence on the very sad incident that occured on Sunday, November 19th.

A brother of the deceased who spoke to the Nation, said the family is still in shock over the unfortunate incident. The brother who spoke on condition of anonymity, said they are waiting on the law enforcement agencies to ensure that justice prevails in this matter. The brother of the deceased spoke at a night of tribute held in honor of the deceased in Abuja last Thursday.

“So far, the family is grieving. Maryam’s family have come to pay their condolence. The mother has come but what is more painful is the fact that Maryam does not look remorseful for what she did at all. I just pray one day, she finds it in her heart to honestly say what it is that made her do what she did. As a family, we are looking at the authority to do what is right, to let justice prevail. This is an example to others. The way this case is treated will determine how we move forward…Bilyamin was not just my older brother but best friend.” he said

A friend of the deceased, Hakeem Ali, who also spoke at the night of tribute, said Bilyaminu was a prisoner in his matrmonial home. He denied allegations that Bilyaminu was a serial cheater.

'My friend was being held a prisoner in his own home. He couldn’t leave the house in the sense that it was an ongoing thing; the abuse went on for a while. For me there is a difference between love and when somebody is being obsessive. People tend not to understand the difference between love and obsession. It wasn’t the best marriage and I believe either of them could have just walked away. It’s easier to sit down in that sorrow and think you can change things, or that if I can’t have him, no one will. I don’t consider it love. I can’t speak on his behalf. I can’t speak on his personal issue, he is a good friend and he is gone. He was that one guy that the minute we step out, we will be like, it is time for you to go home, your wife is about to call, after hanging out for as little as an hour or even 30 minutes. Even in the afternoon because she always calls. So we formed the habit of going to see him at home. The situation with the law, there are a lot of speculations right now on social media but if Nigeria should excuse people for murder just because they have a child, then if I am a murderer, then I will keep on having babies every week, that is not an excuse, for me. If somebody has committed a murder, either intentionally or by mistake, she should not be allowed to even see her baby because you don’t even know her state of mind. I don’t understand the system. A conversation has to begin on domestic violence against men as well because it’s becoming recurrent. If it is a case of murder by mistake then there is a price to pay of which a family can forgive but only God gives life and only God can take it. So, if you take a life, then your life should be taken. It is that simple. If the evidence shows it is a murder, then there is no excuse. It should be a case of an eye for an eye. It is that simple.”

Another friend of the deceased, Jemila Shehu, who was also at the tribute night, suggested that Maryam might have bipolar disorder or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD

”I have no idea. I was not in her mind. I don’t know what she was thinking. All I know is that they both loved each other. There was love there, only God knows. For me, she should be punished. She committed murder. So, she should serve the punishment fully. This happened to someone that was loved by a lot of people. He was kind, quiet and people knew them to be in love. So, it beats everybody’s imagination. Domestic violence should be treated. People should relax, love is not by force. Obsession is a disease. There are a lot of people in Nigeria that are sick but people don’t know because you think that if you go to the therapist, they look down on you or think you are crazy but there are a lot of PTSD, bipolar patients and they live among us. Maybe she flipped, maybe it was a psychotic break or maybe she planned it.”

Last night, friends of Bilyamin Bello, the son of a former Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), Hilaru Bello, gathered at the Unity Fountain in Abuja to pay tribute to him. Bello was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam, last Sunday.

All dressed in black tops, the mourners took turns to pay glowing tributes to him. One of the close friends of the deceased, Ahmed, spoke of how Bilyaminu was very generous to him. Ahmed said the deceased gave him a substantial amount of money to build his house in Abuja. He explained that he has been living in a rented apartment for several years when the deceased decided to borrow him money and even gave him the privilege to pay back until year 2020.

Others described Bulyaminu as a devout Muslim who feared and revered God.

Maryam Sanda who allegedly stabbed her husband, Bilyaminu Bello, son of ex-PDP chairman, Haliru Bello, to death at their home in Abuja last Sunday, has been arraigned in court. She was arraigned this morning for offenses bordering on culpable homicide. Maryam could not control her emotion as she burst into tears upon her arrival at the court holding her six-month-old baby.

Maryam covered her face a with a green scarf to prevent being photographed by the media. Before the commencement of the court proceedings, she read from the Quran.

When the two count charges of homicide were read to her, Maryam pleaded not guilty. The defense counsel, Hussein Musa asked the court to let the defendant be in the police custody arguing that she is still a nursing mother and would be improper to be remanded in prison custody.

The presiding judge, Yusuf Halilu Maryam, objected to Maryam's counsel's suggestion and ruled that she be remanded in Suleja prison and the matter has been adjourned to December 7th for further hearing.
