Olam10: madam i know what CBT is and I know various companies that perform various test on behalf of companies but the guy doesn't know it takes millions of naira to perform test on behalf of companies so why is he assuming on behalf of FIRS like he is part of the HR department....they said interview....just wait for the next step and stop spreading false information So in waiting for the next step ,would you advice applicants to prepare for a CBT which is also a possibility? |

PRYCE01: So we gon use the US as yardstick?
You guys are pathetic! Don't the U.S have different laws than ours?
The NBA just said the move by the SSS was illegal and someone's bringing the US into the equation! Pity!! What has legality brought us thus far? Legality can only be upheld if the law is fair just and unhypocritical but in a case where the reverse is the case then Illegality should be the way to go if it is in a bid to right the wrongs cos in actual fact, an unjust law is no law at all cos such law does not have the morality to dictate to any one what is right or wrong. |
Politics › Re: Ibrahim Buba Gayius Jailed For 70 Years by Inteldeji: 2:17pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
It serves him right but dat does not erase the fact that our law is unjust and sentimental. In cases like dis the law gets a massive erection and becomes virile but when handling the big guns the law becomes impotent like a limp sphaghetti noodle. An unjust law like ours deserve judgment and morally speaking we do not have a law cos according to St Augustine "an unjust law is no law at all". |

Emmaesty: I think it all boils down to interest and passion. Yeah I perfectly agree with you cos I do not have the flare for it and ordinarily my interests do not gravitate towards it. Back then in school, of all the essays taught i was more at ease with the narrative essays but writing is really broad and so even if i were considering it I still have a lot to learn. |

My comfort zone has been so uncomforting lately. It has become a zone of regrets and heartaches with the immense capabilities of snuffing the life out of me-it almost did but as it is said "what does not kill you makes you stronger". Indeed dis is true at least in my case i would say yes cos having weathered the storm of depression and the raging tempest of indecision,my mind did not drown neither was it swept away. In a remarkable fashion and like an expert swimmer i have resurfaced but dis time stronger. Cutting straight to the chase, I have decided to move to Lagos and I need a volunteer job. I want to feel useful i don't want to keep wasting away like dis. I dread unemployment and its offsprings like depression e.t.c and i never again want to feel their arms wrapped around me. Pls fellow nairalanders help me I would be residing around Orile axis any volunteer job in Lagos irrespective of the location would be deeply appreciated. |

Inteldeji: Yeah maybe am not supposed to be watching movies, maybe am supposed to be brain storming looking for ways of liberating myself from the walls of unemployment. If I told you I have tried would u really believe me? Yeah that's what I thought. I have tried but as always, I meet an impervious brick wall. I can't break those walls or so it seems and it appears each time I brutally attack these walls with resolve, resilience, determination and faith I make little or no head way and a part of me keeps falling off. The wall I intend to break is breaking me. I am on the brink of depression. I don't want to sound like a man looking for pity all am looking for is a way. A way out of all of these would mean that I straighten things out. when I had the opportunity as an undergraduate for self development I didn't take it. I wasn't smart enough and I wasn't pro active. That singular error has plunged me into this misery of unemployment. The only possible skill and tool I have at my disposal is teaching. I can teach. I taught senior school students before service, during service I also taught senior sec school pupils. I can teach chemistry and biology. I have submitted my CV to schools I have written and passed tests I have gone for interviews and I have not gotten feedbacks I have the zealousness to keep giving it a shot but I am broke and unemployed, my parents business suffered a major set back. Without funds I possibly won't be able to compete favourably for jobs I have applied for if called up and if I feel I need to diversify by learning a skill or becoming an entrepreneur I would still need funds and that is not within my reach. The only way I think I can do this is by getting a job. This is my plan to break free from these walls. Anyone that can help me with a better advice or better still help me in actualizing my plan would be deeply appreciated. There are deeper stuffs I can't share for time sake cos many of you folks out there might not have the time and patience to read them but I can share it wt folks who are intersted and willing to help. Note my first step of breaking out of these is getting a paid job and I have other plans up my sleeves never to return back to those walls but first I need those funds from a paid employment teaching or anything else. Michael Scofield couldn't have made it out alone. I need help!!! |
