You don't need to pay dear for professional training. You can take advantage of the free courses online(You will get certificate from some of the online trainings).

Truth is,some companies are not comfortable with the Idea whereby a candidate will contact their HR,while some companies won't mind,so it all boils down to the policy of the Company that interviewed you.I think you should exercise more patience.Cheers

Am a graduate of Economics(2nd class upper) from Lagos State University and am in dire need of a job in Abuja or Lagos preferably.... Although I just finished my youth service April staying at home for 2months has been like 2yrs... Have applied to several companies and been to an interview already but still awaiting feedback after 1month plus.
I had an experience in an account department while in service, details of my roles in the department are contained my cv. I have excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills as all these were further explored during my service year. Am also very good with Excel, Msword and PowerPoint and currently pursuing ican certification..
Most people have gotten their testimonies from Nairaland.... I pray I'll share my own testimony with u all soon.... thanks in anticipation.

Good you have done some interviews.Most established companies take 2-3months for their recruitment process,so keep your hope Alive. Also,you should use this waiting period to start your ICAN if you are looking towards the Accounting section.Cheers

Mobax is real.It is located in Lekki.I want to believe you applied as an Entry Level Personnel.It is a Telecom Company with lots of Field Engineers You will be interviewed by a panel of about Four men.Just go there and show them how passionate you are about Telecoms.You should know the latest happenings in the world of Telecoms. Also,I don't know if you did Mobile Communication in the University (I did it in my Final Year), brush up on that because you will be asked things like PDH etc.In summary, all they want to see is your passion for Telecoms and the desire to grow with them.
Meanwhile, you will be accepted as a Trainee if you haven't worked before,and the Salary for trainees is .......(Trust me I know it). Then after 6months it will be reviewed and an additional 30k will be added.But the good thing is this,the experience and handson training you get from them under that 6months will make you a great Telecoms/Network Engineer.
