For UG applicants who finished lst year 2015 our waec certificte is not yet out so if we hav our statement of result we should take it to WAEC office for confirmation nd tell dem to forward it to FSB office?.

Nope it won't.Tell your school to send it directly to FSB Office at Central Area,opposite Arewa Palace,close to SEC Headquarters.It should be addressed to the Director,FSB,Abuja

Haven't done the interview before but I have asked some of the scholars and those who did the interview in previous years.For Post graduate applicants:Current affairs,Quantitative reasoning,verbal reasoning and some ICT questions.Then after which you will do a short interview(Why you want BEA Scholarship/Study Plan/Personal Statement).For UG:Current affairs,Verbal reasoning and quantitative reasoning.Cheers

You don't have to allow that bother you dear.Base on the feedback I got from FSB office,if you didn't upload your transcript in the course of your application,you can take it to the venue of your interview,but incase your school is like mine that don't give transcript to ex students,you can then provide FSB address to them (your school)so that they can send it directly to their office(opposite Arewa house,Central Area,Abuja).

No.PG Students don't need confirmation of Waec result inasmuch as you have your waec original.The statement of result is only applicable if you don't have your original waec certificate.Cheers

Goodmorning, I am not a Scholar of FSB(I am just a researcher). Base on my research, once you are nominated for the Scholarship, getting a University is a walk over. Your focus now should be how to be among the selected applicants.

The rewards of excellence at the secondary school level have always been underwhelming! This reminds me of when I won the JETS competition at the state level in my state in 2001, I was given a towel (orange color which I used through my college years) and a certificate.

Also when I came 2nd, before we went to represent the state at the national level, at the MAN (Mathematical Association of Nigeria) competition I was given 25 naira.

It has improved now but it's still underwhelming

What you said is very true. I have a friend who did his msc an doing his phD in china with scholarship and it wasn't that hard for him to get. Information is a very good key if one must move on. Did you know there are several scholarships in Thailand and singapore? I advice everyone here to widen your scope of information and you wil go far. Cheers

If you know anybody schooling in China,this is your best bet,make contact with the person. He/She can really help you get a Professor who will want to adopt you as his/her research student.Once the Professor accepts you,you have a very high chance to get the scholarship. Most China students use weechat,you can connect with them via that medium,Or just type Nigeria students in China,Nairaland on google(you will find some Nigerians schooling there, they might want to help you).Cheers
