Thinking aloud, and asking for advice. With LWRS 8777 in IELTS for both of us combined with WES evaluation, CRS is 431 .... will this draw still come down? Hmmmm |

Congrats. May God bless your family. Happy for you Lucious477: Hi guys,
I'm very thankful to God because I've received the golden mail and I don't know how to celebrate!
My Timeline: CRS 454 ITA Dec 6th 2017 AOR Jan 12th 2018 MEP Jan 26th IP1 Jan 26th NA2 Feb 1st IP2 Feb 20th PPR Feb 21st Family of 3 No ADR Visa Office: Ottawa
Some highlights of my application includes; 1. My POF = T-Bills(3months) + Generic Bank Ref Letter + 6months SOA + Gift of deed (100% amount from direct family). My total POF is in the T-Bills, explained this in my LOE. 2. Proof of employment = Reference letter (included NYSC experience) + Pay stubs. 3. There was a mistake in my spouse's name on our daughter's birthday cerficate, so I attached an affidavit (confirmation of name) together with the document to clarify this. Also explained this in my LOE. 4. Educational documents= Degree certificates + WES. I didn't include IELTS certificate although I registered the certificate number somewhere else in my application. 5. My spouse hasn't officially changed her name so I submitted our application with her maiden name. Our marriage certificate was enough proof I guess. 6. Passport photos = We took our final printed photos (50x70mm) from "Study 24" ahead of time. I scanned and resized it to the required specification (35x45mm) (using MS software) and used it for Post ITA submission. That's all I can remember off the top of my head and I hope it helps. Thanks to everyone that has ever communicated on this thread (names too numerous to list), it was very helpful! For those still hoping for better IELTS scores, please try again and give it all you have this time. For those still expecting the silver mail, please be very hopeful. Try to improve your CRS, while in the pool if you need to. For those still anticipating towards receiving the golden mail, it will certainly come! I'm wishing everyone here the very best and remember it will end in praise! |

congrats sir/ma. hugoe: Counting my blessings one step at a time, as I go on this journey. I have been waiting, wondering and hoping that the ongoing strike should be resolved, so that the further verification requested by WES from Uniport can be treated. I have even thought of cancelling the BSc part, as the MSc had been accepted recently. The former has been pending for over 6 months. Last night, I received a mail from WES, stating "This is to advise you that we have received all required documents. We will now begin to prepare your evaluation report." I logged in on my WES account, and it's same as the email received. I called on my twin immediately to know if the strike has been called off, or probably they treated it. He says the strike is still on, and he has not even submitted the bank teller for the extra charges Uniport requested for, so that they can treat the request. Well, I am amazed and I chose to share this, to encourage everyone. It might not be epic as receiving PPR mail, but it's one step achieved in my plans. In between, I'm still wondering how it happened. What caused them to change and decide to move on with my evaluation? |

congratulations, so happy for u. I will also testify Favoredme: It's PPR people!!!
My timeline is:
ITA..... Jan 10 AOR.... Jan 17 MEP..... Feb 02 IP1 ...... Feb 02 NA2..... Feb 06 IP2 ...... Feb 20 PPR .....Feb 20
When this part 3 was opened, I made a silent declaration that my PPR story will be told here and here it is!
I want to give God the praise because myself and spouse wrote IELTS in August 2017 once using only ieltsbuddy.com and the road to IELTS from BC. Then ASUU or was it NASU strike held back our WES until Nov/Dec 2017. Family size of 5.
We started this process using the CIC website only until I stumbled on this thread (part 2) through Google. I will encourage newbies to read the CIC website and thoroughly because every needed info is there and seek further guidance or Naija experience from this thread and parts 1 and 2. |

so happy for you. congrats bro. I will also testify about my great result soon. once again thumbs up mcstan18: Dear Brethren,
...for the Egyptians [BC and IELTS] whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The day has come for us to be set free from these Egyptians. They have somehow given me some sort of mixed feelings though. Nevertheless, I am extremely grateful to God that my morale didn't wane down to a nadir.
L - 8 R - 9 W - 7 S - 8.5
I'm considering a remark in the W, I need that 3 points badly. What do you, my e-family think? On a lighter note, someone here was touched to give me a hug the last time while I was seemingly downcast. Now is the perfect time, with all the RED theme everywhere. Shall we pick a rendezvous already? |

@happytbaby, can one send a standing order to WES to conclude evaluation without BSc? I have an uncle in this category. Thanks happytbaby: You are good to go with just the M.Sc. Ask WES to conclude your evaluation without the B.Sc. |

NASU has suspended strike Kontagious: The six weeks is not entirely true, though some applicants experience delays of some sort. Normally, your request should be treated within 3 to 4 weeks.
The Unilag site is actually running but the transcript page is off, if it remains off till (or after) NASU calls off their strike, try get to senate if you can, if not, send a proxy that gets things done. |

why you just wan throway money? we have said newcomers read previous pages and use the search bar.. una no dey ever gree listen.
Dont courier your cert, rather fax a scanned copy of your cert, it is free and instant. WES would acknowledge receipt within 24 - 72hours. to learn how to go about this, enter "wes fax" or "WES send cert" into the search bar.[/quote] |
