Politics / How Is Electricity Power Supply In Your Area? by INTERMAN: 10:35pm On Sep 01, 2017
In my area in ile-ife we now enjoy almost 24hrs power supply. At least half of the day and above. Mostly more than half a day of electricity. As i have said sometimes 24hrs unstop. In the past the only place we enjoy such power is on OAU campus.

But now, power is now better even outside campus. Now i save money for nepa bill every month even as a student because they are just too good. No need to rush to charge phones , no fear of light been taken out in the night. Candles and kerosene stove now close to been useless.

How is it in your area? Hope you are equally enjoying power supply like me?

Education / OAU Unlimited Internet Browsing - How Does It Work? by INTERMAN: 2:26pm On Aug 27, 2017
Seun lalasticlala I want to know how this work. I have seen many Internet providers charging data at 20Gb 25Gb at 20 thousands and sometimes more.Whereas here in Great Ife at just 300 naira we can download unlimitedly on our laptop of something even up to 200Gb at less than 1000 thousand naira. All we need to do is to buy time at some designated CYBER CAFE and connect the ethernet (Internet cable) to the laptop and start browsing and downloading without any embargo. There is time for 45 minutes, one hour, two hours, 3 and even 6 and 10 hours. All less than 1000 naira. You can stop browsing and continue at another time or day. This has really helped me get so many Educative thing I won't have got through ordinary data from other data providers. We also have the wireless WiFi network but I seldom use that. I want to know how it works. Who provides those services at such a cheap and easy rate.Imagine downloading something of 100GB or even more at just 500 naira which we can keep using for days until the designated 6hours 30 minutes is over. You can even download more than that. How is it done? I wish we have such providers outside the school but unfortunately they are very expensive. 100GB out there can cost over 50 thousands naira on its own.

you've said it all...I don't blame the school management because some of them are products of admission irregularities and fake results... Heavens know some waec results are phony...Shame on LASU and Kudos to UI.

The lagos state university management should bury their heads in shame for refusing to conduct post UTME for candidates seeking admission to their school this year. Instead, the school had decided to use WAEC results obtained through malpractice to screen the candidates in.What a shame on them
Car Talk / Re: Electric Cars To Be Introduced Into Nigerian Market By 2018 by INTERMAN: 8:05am On Aug 26, 2017
What about the charging points and location?. I heard there is only a specified place for the charging just like filling stations.Thos areas uses solar and private power sources.Because electric cars can't be charge at home.It will drain the power and destroy transformers. And there is a special terminal to connect it to a charging point which is not available for private use yet.

Education / Re: JAMB Introduces Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) For 2017/18 Admission by INTERMAN: 12:18pm On Aug 22, 2017
linearity:

I don't see anything laudable about this.

This brings lots of uncertainties and confusion, and the privilege to choose the University one will attend is taken away except for the three Universities that might pick a student.

So, if I score very high in jamb e.g. 329 and my dream is to attend OAU....if by some luck Some three unknown Universities with cuts like 180, 190, 200 get in front of the line ahead of OAU with cut of 310...I will be stuck with these three unknowns, despite the fact that I clearly met IAU criteria.
OAU CUT OFF IS 200

No!

She spent the normal 4year academic sessions expected of her.

She was offered admission through the 2012 UTME.
But the set started their first academic session in 2013. Coupled with other strikes, her year of thesis submission spilled to 2017.

Hence, still 4year academic activities.
I am a student.and I tell you that the current part four set are with the matrix number 2013/
