Many people have been nursing this fear and suspicion for a long time now.It was only a matter of time before it would happen and here it is. North Korea finally blocks the 3 main social media platforms ,Facebook,Twitter and YouTube in their country. Its not going to be funny for not, only the youths over their but for businesses as well. what happens now?Time will surely tell.We keep on observing what goes on there.North Korea has officially announced it is blocking Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and South Korean websites in a move underscoring its concern with the spread of online information. The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications announcement was posted this week at the country's main mobile service provider, Koryolink, and other places serving Internet users. Very few North Koreans have Internet access. Typically they can see only a sealed-off, government-sanctioned intranet. But foreigners had previously been able to surf the Web with almost no overt restrictions, though most likely with behind-the-scenes monitoring of their Internet activities. The new restrictions will make it more difficult for visitors or the small community of foreign residents in North Korea to post real-time information about the country to the outside world, and will further limit the ability of North Koreans with Internet access to view information about their country posted elsewhere. The government announcement named YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Voice of America and South Korean media sites as specific examples of what it is blocking "for a certain period of time." It also said gambling and "sex and adult websites" have been blocked. http://whateverlovely..com/2016/04/north-korea-officially-blocks.html |
I was going through Facebook today and came across a friend’s lamenting about Instagram, It made me to search and see for myself what’s actually happening. How? Instagram recently dropped the news that it will be adapting a non-chronological newsfeed order, similar to its big brother, Facebook. Instead of sorting posts in a familiar linear order, the new algorithm will weigh in a variety of social signals, such as a number of post engagements. It will also consider content you liked before in an attempt to sort images in the order of “relevancy,” or as what Instagram perceives to be of most interest to you.I read a friends update on Facebook today,as they were lamenting the changes that the popular social media platform-Instagram has done is affecting them. i kept asking how. They complained that their links are no longer visible and it seemed that Instagram wanted users to pay before they could post live links.Maybe that was their understanding but i needed to get to the roots of the issue. Here it is. http://whateverlovely..com/2016/03/instagram-is-changinghow-it-will-affect.html |
I'm Pregnant,Should I Take Alcohol? Many of our people have different belief systems about what to eat or not eat during pregnancy. Some communities believe that certain foods taken during pregnancy helps to reduce the weight or size of baby in the womb and makes for easy delivery. There are simply many beliefs.I don't know what your people believe. For many years there has been a debate about the safety of alcohol in pregnant women. Many researches have been conducted, and sometimes in the past, some people claimed that a little alcohol isn't harmful to the mom or her baby in utero. Apart from the advice or suggestions of experts, many women have continued to take alcohol during pregnancy,no matter the trimester they are in. Some smoke heavily and take many other things that have been proven to be harmful to the child. Yes.In many instances, they had healthy babies but,is the risk worth it? Should you stake the health of your baby and your happiness for fleeting pleasures or habits? Some take a little, while others take much. Most times, most of these women do not even know that they are pregnant but due to the already established habit of alcohol consumption, they'd continue throughout until harm is done already to the developing baby. "Should I drink even a small quantity of alcohol when pregnant"? Recent research has said that taking of alcoholic drinks isn't safe at any point during pregnancy. "The only guarantee of having no effects from alcohol is no prenatal http://nursescountry..com/2015/10/can-i-drink-alcohol-while-pregnant.html |

MARKone:Thanks but, like I said, it came with Windows 8.i didn't add it. All the specifications were inbuilt and I bought it brand new, so I don't actually know what the problem is. They said it has 500HHD but I doubt if it's up to that. I looked for Intel core or any other but couldn't find and that's why I picked this one. So, maybe I will downgrade to w7 and also increase the ram. The AV I'm using is avast. Could it also drag the system? |
Lol... Should I then change the OS to Vista or any of the older versions. Will it make it work netter? If I change the ram with the current HD, will it work? |
I bought a mini lenovo laptop with the following specs: PROCESSOR: Intel Celery CPU N2840 @2.16GHz 2.16GHz Installed Memory(RAM) :2.00 GB (1.89 usable) System type: 64 bit operating system, x64- based processor WINDOWS 8 I bought the laptop in February and I use it only for school work but it is damn too slow. If I plug in my modem, it almost freezes. I also can't open two programs at the same time as it will hang and stop responding. Please what could be the problem? This laptop is brand new and barely two months old. Expert help is needed please. Thanks.

DelGardo:We have plenty of grammar speaking and analysis outlining folks like you in Nigeria but, the problem is that a whole battalion of you amount to very little except talking, and talking pitiable things. To see how an obviously educated fellow like you could spew out what you wrote above is beyond get grasp. And fact remains that you actually believe all those and you would want us all to view them as the stark truth. May God deliver us from people like you. |

For sometime now i noticed that my lips and fingers (NOT TONGUE OR MOUTH),tastes bitter when my tongue touches them.I initially suspected that it was the Nivea lotion i used and i decided to withhold the lotion for a while but,it still persists. I dont have fever or headache, hence malaria is ruled out. This has made me to use spoon or fork for cassava, even when using hand usually made it more enjoyable. It abated for a while but has returned for almost one week now. Please what could be the cause?Has anyone here ever experienced such? Information is needed. |
Power supply to households and businesses across the country has plunged by 1,589.69 megawatts since the nation achieved its peak generation of 5,074.70MW on February 2. Electricity supply on Sunday, February 14, dropped to 3,485MW from the 3,558.39MW generated that day, data obtained from the Federal Ministry of Power on Monday showed. Power generation and supply stood at 4,150.64MW and 4,068.5MW on February 11, according to the Presidential Task Force on Power. The PUNCH reported on Monday that officials at the ministry said on Sunday that issues around gas pipeline rupturing by vandals as well as oil theft had led to a plunge in power generation. They, however, noted that the Federal Government was working tirelessly to address the problem. The recent dip in electricity generation came after the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, had promised that the country would increase its power production by 2,000MW before the end of this year. He stated that given the various plans undertaken by the present administration in the sector, power generation would increase by 2,000MW in the last quarter of this year. Fashola stated that a lot had changed in the management of power in Nigeria in recent times. “Distribution of power is no longer a government business but has been taken over by private companies. Also, government has privatised power generation, which has steered towards the full privatisation of the sector with transmission aspect being managed by Manitoba International of Canada,” he had said. Doctors and C-Suite executives are known for pulling in a pretty penny. The mean annual pay for anesthesiologists is $246,320, and chief executives earn an average of $180,700 a year. But what do America's top earners have on the president of the United States? Not much. The president is paid $400,000 a year, on a monthly basis. Plus, he receives an extra expense allowance of $50,000 a year. That number has evolved over time. The first president, George Washington, earned $25,000 a year when he came into office in 1789. That may not sound like much, but to put Washington's compensation into perspective, $25,000 in 1913 (the oldest year the inflation calculator accounts for) is equivalent to about $600,000 today. Imagine the value in 1789! Between 1789 and today, there have been five pay raises, the most recent one coming in 2001, when Congress doubled the presidential salary from $200,000 to $400,000. That salary alone is nearly enough to put the president in the top 1% of earners in major US cities. Don't confuse salary with income. Take President Obama — while his salary is $400,000, his income in 2011 was about $790,000, thanks to investments and publishing royalties from his books. Like most employees, the president receives benefits in addition to a salary. Unlike most employees, these benefits include free transportation in the presidential limousine, Marine One, and Air Force One — and free housing in the White House. Another bonus: At the end of their term, the President is still on government payroll, which includes an annual pension of about $200,000, health care, paid official travel, and an office. And if you were wondering, the First Lady doesn't get paid a dime. |
You are a big hypocrite, and if you are still a youth of this country,i pity you.I pray that God may never allow people like you to rule over me. How can you be relentlessly attacking a man who has shown and continues to show what we all have been clamouring for all these while? Let ALL the leaders do both secretely and publicly, and i gues that if as many as you want us to believe, have been secretly doing it,perhaps tha story would hve been different today. Why do you make it look like no one can ever please you guys? Why is it difficult for you not to attack any good from people? Please change Aufbauh: |

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have recently sounded an alarm. There was a completely uncommon birth defect identified, which was caused by a rare virus being spread by mosquitoes last January, warning women in America and raising awareness in a worldwide spectrum not to get pregnant if they are or have been in certain countries in South America. Couples have been asked not to get pregnant for at least 2 years because of the possibility of birth defects and other consequences. The said virus causing an alarm was named Zika, and it is maintaining its momentum of breaking into multiple territories as we speak. Are we safe here? Dasukigate: $2.2bn arms funds unaccounted for under Sanusi, ex-CBN Gov ABUJA — As investigation into the looting of funds meant for the acquisition of arms for the Nigerian armed forces continues, operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, are in a dilemma over what to do with the former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. Sanusi, who was removed from the bank by former President Goodluck Jonathan for accusing the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, of not remitting $20 billion of oil proceeds into the national treasury, later become the Emir of Kano, an influential traditional and religious post that carried more weight in the northern part of Nigeria than the CBN. The operatives are keen on interrogating the emir on the numerous disbursement of funds to the office of the fo rmer National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd), who is being tried for money laundering, breach of public trust and diversion of public funds. Findings by Vanguard, however, showed, weekend, that the operatives were in a fix on what to do in order to get the revered traditional and religious ruler to speak to them on what he knows about the huge sums of money taken away from the nation’s apex bank under the guise of security. The commission, it was gathered last night, is contemplating whether to invite Sanusi or go to meet him quietly to interview him on the funds moved from the bank to the National Security Adviser, during his tenure and why such disbursement were never questioned or declined by him. A source in the commission hinted that they were keen on getting first hand information from the emir but in a way that would not raise any eyebrow or bring the commission into trouble with any individual or group. It was learnt that the commission’s top official had already visited Kano and would possibly try to seek an avenue to discuss with the emir quietly and return to Abuja. Set to grill Emefiele, others But a source said that other CBN governors, including the incumbent Godwin Emefiele, would soon be invited to explain their roles in the arms sandal, which is very embarrassing to the nation. One of the sources said that it was a matter of time before the top bank officials would be summoned to clarify their roles in the national financial scam. The spokesman for the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached for comments in the latest development in the arms scam probe. His telephone lines indicated that they had been switched off when our correspondent called on Sunday evening. NGE backs FG on moves to recover stolen public funds The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) has thrown its weight behind the efforts of the Federal Government to recover stolen public funds and commended the courage behind it. While urging the government to respect the fundamental human rights of the suspects in the process, the Guild asked the government to thoroughly investigate every corruption case and pursue same diligently and to logical conclusion. In a communiqué issued at the end of its 4th quarterly Standing Committee meeting, weekend, in Abuja, the guild advised judges to be circumspect in granting injunctions and be more painstaking in the adjudication of corruption cases. The guild, in the communiqué signed by its President, Garba Deen Mohammad and General Secretary, Victoria Ibanga, further warned state governments not to renege in the payment of the N18,000 minimum wage and urged them to improve on their internally generated revenue, reduce the cost of governance and ensure due process in the award of contracts. According the communique,”the Guild is alarmed by the downward slide of the Naira which is impacting negatively on the purchasing power of Nigerians and wants the Federal Government to diversify the country’s revenue base to shore up the value of the national currency. “The Guild also noted with concern the perennial fuel scarcity in the country and called on the Federal Government to find a lasting solution to the problem.” While reiterating its warning against any attempt to gag the press or tamper with the freedom of expression of Nigerians, the editors urged the Senate to retrace its steps with respect to the Frivolous Petitions Bill which is against the freedom of the press. The editors, therefore, urged the National Assembly to expunge Section 24 of the Cyber Crime Act which is considered to be more obnoxious than the Frivolous Petitions Bill https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/12/2-2bn-arms-probe-efcc-in-dilemma-over-sanusi-ex-cbn-gov/&sa=U&ved=0ahUKEwiIzbO0udvJAhUDPRoKHe88DeUQqQIIDjAA&sig2=RnombH8zgj8y_tiTfvwcww&usg=AFQjCNG6CjUvzDIog6FofjH1_QI2arQyOw |

It was never like this before now as I haven't seen a phone that came discharge so quickly from ,like 65% to 45% in less than 10 minutes, while in use even when still plugged to power source. Help is needed please. Secondly,is infinix zero 560 battery replaceable? I can't see any sign of replacing it. Thanks. |
