CultureFree The joystick Protest Coming Soon by intrepid(op):
#FreeThePenis.Org

"The nude human body is beautiful to see and is nothing to be ashamed of''

That's the argument quietly seeping into our consciousness as its been blared from the worlds noisy rooftops, and many are buying it in "large quantities".(Naked "baby bump" pictures of our people are all over the place as a testimony)

Early this week, precisely on Sunday, around 300 bare-chested demonstrators paraded in Manhattan following recent bids to get semi-nude models in Times Square banned.

These are semi nude women(sometimes, painted) who stay for exhibition there and usually posed for pics with tourists in exchange for cash.

Other protests took place around the United States and in other countries.

The campaigners want women to be given the same rights as men when it comes to being topless in public.

One of the spokespersons for NYC's GoTopless group, Rachel Jessee said: 'Freeing nipples and bodies frees minds as well, restoring self-image and self-esteem'

'Our goal is for equal gender topless rights to be enforced worldwide, freeing women's nipples,' she said.

The claim and agitation is that "the female nipple is sexualized;the man is free to go topless in public while the woman is restricted.

#Boobsarenotbombs is the slogan. And so they want to be allowed to also go shirtless or topless anywhere they wish.

#FreeThePenis is coming soon and we are no longer shocked.

I hope you won't be shocked to see men dangling their manhood along the street in protest that there should be equal rights for all to be as Adam and Eve because it makes all men and women to be free?

If you think that I'm being stupid here, please just take a look at the last gay parade on the day of the Gay Legal triumph and see how some men were totally nude on the streets as they frolicked in their new found freedom.

God isn't shocked and He isn't mocked either. And I don't think there'd be too much shock too by the time their Naija sympathizers attempt to join in the protest.....though I can't say what might happen to the protesters here.

Humanity is fast hurtling to self destruction and all in fulfilment of the old and "antiquated" scriptural prophesies.Yea,that's how some people refer to the bible now,in case you don't know.

The time will soon be here when men and women from somewhere will begin a legal war and street protest to allow everyone walk totally nude on the streets as long as it doesn't "harm anyone" and the people involved are "adults".

Its not going to get better. But stay on track and keep looking unto Jesus, else you might get thrown off balance by the beautiful and logical forces of evil.

Our citizenship is somewhere and we are awaiting our saviour from there.I don't know about you?

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Will This Interview Perfomance Land You This Job? by intrepid(op): 9:20am On Aug 26, 2015
Thanks bro.All the best
Jobs/VacanciesWill This Interview Perfomance Land You This Job? by intrepid(op): 6:14pm On Aug 25, 2015
Interviews can be stressful and for the first timers,it causes sleepless nights. This is understandable. And can be the case especially if one has heard stories of serial applicants who never got the jobs they have been going for interviews for long now.

I believe that there is always a reason for anything that happens ,and when it comes to interviews and jobs, there are really rules or tips,so important to neglect,or to be ignorant of which many people default at.

I am bringing to you killer tips from Travis, an authority in the field and I hope that that your next dream job is just around the corner after going through this.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO and founder of Facebook, describes his hiring process this way:

“I will only hire someone to work directly for me if I would work directly for that person.”

Zuckerberg’s comment illustrates an overlooked, yet fundamental, truth about hiring—people are ultimately looking for someone they want to work with.
This is why companies of all types will ask you the same five questions.
Human nature ensures interviewers return to these questions time and again to find out if you’re someone they want to have down the hall.

Your ability to wow the interviewer and land the job hinges on how well you answer these questions.

Fear not! I’ve provided perfect answers to the five questions you will be asked every time you interview. Calmly take note as you read them below.

“Why are you leaving your current job?”
This question trips a lot of people up because it can get you into a negative mindset or a rant against your present (or previous) job. The interviewer only wants to know that you aren’t leaving purely for money and that you don’t have trouble getting along with people.
Even if you were fired, the key to answering this question is to maintain undying positivity. Put a positive twist on the negatives to show your interviewer that you’ve learned significant and valuable lessons.
If at all possible, show the interviewer that your moving jobs is all about passion and career growth.
“Tell me about yourself”
When interviewers ask this, they don’t want to hear about everything that has happened in your life; the interviewer’s objective is to see how you respond to this vague, yet personal, question.
Most people are quick to gush about their life story or their passions outside work. In the process, people have the tendency to slip up and to reveal things that cast them in a negative light. You don’t want to be too loose with your personal life with someone you just met.
The idea here is to give the most important points of your resume and how these experiences make you a great fit for the job. All you need to do is show the interviewer why you’re the best fit for the position and leave all the other extraneous details out.
“What are your weaknesses?”
It’s difficult to find a genuine weakness that makes you appear competent.
For instance, telling your interviewer that your weakness is working so hard that you have trouble prioritizing your family life is a little too cliché and comes across as disingenuous. But telling your interviewer that you lose interest in mundane tasks (though this may be genuine) makes you an unappealing candidate as well.
To answer this question perfectly, pick weaknesses that are minor and can be developed.
A great tactic is to choose a past weakness that you have an awesome story about fixing. For example, if your weakness is that you have difficulty confronting people with bad news, tell your interviewer that you’ve learned to begin with something positive before moving into the negative. This is a perfect example because the issue is minor (interviewers won’t consider it a deal-breaker), and you’ve shown that you’re someone who can learn and seeks improvement.
“What is your desired salary?”
The unwritten rule when it comes to salary is this: whoever proposes a number first, loses.
When you interview, you should never feel pressured to answer this question. Simply let your interviewer know that the most important thing to you is how well you fit the position.
Say something simple like, “Though I know salary is relevant, I don’t make decisions based solely on it, and I would prefer to discuss it later once you know more about me and I know more about the role.”
This shows the interviewer that you have put thought into the question and that you would prefer to focus on fit before pay. You’ll have far more leverage in a salary negotiation if you wait until they want to hire you before discussing it.
“Tell me about a time when you_______”
This question sounds simple, but it’s difficult to clearly and concisely share a meaningful story.
Laszlo Bock, the head of HR at Google, says you should approach this question like this: “Here’s the attribute I’m going to demonstrate; here’s the story demonstrating it; here’s how that story demonstrated that attribute.”
Bock also says, “Most people in an interview don’t make explicit their thought process behind how or why they did something and, even if they are able to come up with a compelling story, they are unable to explain their thought processes.”
A perfect answer to this question shows what you did and why you did it (i.e., how you think).
Have stories prepared that demonstrate different desirable attributes of yourself. Just don’t forget to explain the thinking that went into your actions as you tell them.
Bringing it all together
Now that you know how to answer the five most important questions in any interview, you’ll have a leg up on the competition. Just don’t forget to prepare and practice your responses until you can share them without your answers sounding rehearsed.

There you have it.All that you need to pull off whatever job interview you have and land that job of your dream.Interviews need no longer cause butterflies in your belly or serial palpitations as your remember that you have one to attend especially if you have had a bad outing or numerous bad ones in the past.

Have in mind that the person you are going to meet at the venue was also at one time an applicant and he understands very well what you are going through;some know exactly what you might answer in certain situations based on your composure and previous answers. Its really nothing to worry about if you are equipped with with the requisite tactics and know what the employer wants from you.

RomanceWhat Should Kemi Do?advice Please. by intrepid(op): 10:23am On Aug 24, 2015
What Should Kemi Do?

She has been with Bayo for close to two years now;the relationship has all the outward signs of good health and seems very auspicious. Things are great.Bayo opened a very decent hair dressing salon for her in Kuje and she was really good at the business.

About 9 months ago,by mutual and emotional agreement, Kemi moved in and both began to live together. They do everything together: they bath together, eat together,go to church and social functions together and also sleep together.

Bayo is a young civil engineer, brilliant and also cute to behold. And in truth, the guy is really doing well in the profession.

He drives a lovely Mazda CX-9 ,with which he always drops off Kemi at her office each morning,as he rides along to his own office in the central area or,sometimes straight to construction site, when there's a job to do or supervise.

His apartment is lavishly furnished. The guy has taste and he's "loaded" and ready to spend on Kemi.

He loves Kemi a lot and really shows it by his actions- several stuffs he buys for her and the way he equipped her fashion shop.It is one of the best in the area.

Everyone looks forward to the wedding day and formal marriage of these cute guys.

Bimbo is Kemi's best friend from elementary school back at Ijebu, and often visits whenever she could. She also lives in Kuje and works with an insurance company in town.

Bayo likes her so much because of her humble attitude despite her mesmerizing beauty, and called her Kemi's sister.

Bimbo is beautiful. That's just the word for her.

There was no strings attached,so it seemed. And Kemi declared that she had no fear of her guy attempting anything silly with somebody they called a "sister".

She is truly a sister and has been telling Kemi that her joy in their friendship would be complete if Kemi truly returned to her former devotion to Jesus and recommitted her life to Him.

Kemi used to be a firebrand of a Christian, but I don't know what happened. The relationship with Bayo seems to have compromised her beliefs.Sexual Immorality and accompanying sins followed. They still went to church.

She has been inviting Kemi to "Souls Ablaze", a monthly revival program organized by her church.

On 4 June,2015 Kemi accepted to go to the program. It was a day and an event that is presently threatening to tear her world apart. Was her attendance an error or foolishness? Did she make any mistake by going to that church that day?

What happened?

The preacher had finished and program ended but Kemi couldn't get up from her pew.Her friend was also worried. She waited a little bit beside her and decided to go stay outside.About 15 minutes later, she came inside the church only to behold Kemi now kneeling with face buried in her hands and sobbing uncontrollably. Everyone had evacuated the church. She didn't notice anything or anyone.I still don't know what happened.

She finally came out and rejoined Bimbo.

She held her hand and slowly said "Bimbo,I've resurrendered and I'm afraid many things might go wrong now.I can't explain it but I sense that things are going to change now.I don't know which direction it's gonna take and I don't also know how I'm going to handle it but I'm just surrendering"

Bimbo was stunned. She didn't tell her anything. She had last preached to her about her discipleship about 2 months earlier.

They trudged on in silence.

That night, after dinner,at about 7:17pm, she calmly told Bayo that she intended to move out of his apartment and that they should live apart until they become legally married.

Bayo peered into her face " Are we not going to be married soon,or don't you trust me? What is the meaning of this nonsense? What happened to you suddenly and why are you telling me this? Are you now calling me a pagan or what, dont i go to church? We are going to see your people in 3 months time and I have already informed your uncle to help me with certain issues.Look,if you move out of this house I'm suspending this relationship, walahi!....what has come over you?"

Kemi could only stare blankly at him.She saw the rage and the pain;her eyes were now red, tears flowed freely as her lips quivered.

She stammered,"Bayo,I love you so much and you know it.My heart has always burned me from the moment I came in here to cohabit with you.So many things have happened here of which I'm not proud.Yes.It seems awkward now and stupid because I also believe that you are serious and I've been doing this for long now. I am serious also but I have numbed my conscience for too long.I can't go on like this anymore.I got to go,Bayo. We should stay apart until we are truly ready"

Bayo bolted out of the room, jumped into his Mazda CX-9 and jetted off to wherever.Kemi picked her stuffs and left for Bimbo's house. The next morning, she got a very rough shock: her shop was locked from outside, obviously by Bayo.

All attempts to plead for his understanding didn't help. The condition was for her to come back to his house, which Kemi had sworn that she'd never do again because of her encounter at the revival.

Things are rough, and you know what I mean. She is in serious dilemma now because her continued absence might create a chance for another babe to occupy her position.

Please what should Kemi do? She needs your sincere advice.

My sister, time has passed and there are fake love everywhere only few relationship are based on genuine love nowadays unlike before during the time of our grandparent infact our greatgrandmothers also suffer some marital problems either from their husband, fellow wives or in-laws but they stay with their home through thick and torn !!!

I have never been heartbroken in my life and I pray never to be but I have seen people who are heartbroken and watched Heartbroken movies both local and foreign ..... one thing is common to all these people, they love that person whom they believe love them back and can never hurt them only to be disappointed and left dejected, depressed, hypertensive and possibly untimely death ..........

Then I asked myself, why should any sane man put all his egg inside one basket, why should any sane man rely totally on another human being who "CHANGE" is part of his inherent features huh

I am sorry, I see Marriage like an Office/Business where everybody needs to do his/her job as your responsibilities required you to do .........we socialise, we romance, we make love, we watch out for one another as family despite all that still maintain some level of caution and prepare ur mind for surprise !!!

The definition of Love connote "unconditional " but me , I ain't ready for any unconditional !!!
You have some subconscious issues that you can't even see and I think you need help seriously, maybe a psychologist.
Your comment,if true, simply means that you have prepared your mind for a wobbly relationship or a stillbirth one.Whatever must have configured your mind like that really death a deadly blow on your psyche and its unfortunate.

Love exists, true love exists.Issue is are you ready and can u recognize it when u see it.
RomanceRe: Can You Love Somebody But Wouldn't Marry Them? by intrepid(op): 6:11am On Aug 18, 2015
Bollove:
Yes of course !!!

Love doesn't necessary culminate into marriage while marrying someone doesn't imply you love the person bunch more. Though detest is never in this equation cuz you won't marry whom you detest or love whom you detest !!!

Love should be the last thing to consider in marriage, marry who can get the job done responsibly, after he/she prove himself/herself as worthy then love that person still open ya one eye ooo so as as to see when things are heading south !!!
You seem to be suggesting a fearful or overly cautious attitude here in which case, both parties had better stay off any permanent commitment.

I don't think marriage is a sort of job or,that someone would be married to come do some job.

And what actually did u mean by considering love last in marriage? I need clearance ,that's why I posted this question in the first place?

the make is not the deciding factor here .. u can go for dell, hp, macbook, sony, samsung, whatever . .
you basically need to understand the real specs no matter what make u wanna go for . . .
like i said in my previous post, if u ar cashed strapped, make sure the cpu is nothing less than Core 2 Duo, and please use 4GB RAM
these days 2GB ram is nothing unless u won't be installing programs at all . . d moment u install
firefox chrome messenger office vlc skype etc , ur 2GB ram would be almost filled to capacity, hence hanging the system, blue screen of death etc . so 4GB ram if u budget is tight , , ram is cheap these days . a ram of 1600MHz would do for light computer usage . .
if u are into gaming, then Ram of 2100 MHz and above is way to go .. .
but if money is not a problem , , , go for higher end cpus . . the core i-series . . they can handle anything, open 50 programs at once and yet your computer won't hang or freeze. . .
a classic example is the macbook air . . . . core i-5 at 1.8GHz 8 GRAM and 128GB SSD , which i happen to rock . . .
any more questions . .
