PoliticsWhy Apc Is Pdp And Pdp Is Apc. Please Read Well by intrepid(op): 2:18pm On Feb 13, 2017
This message isn't original to me; I got it from Whatsapp. I only added Audu Ogbe to the list and edited a few things. Any time Buhari Media Center/Buhari Media Organization minions try to erect the false binary between PDP and APC and to talk of "16 years of PDP misrule," show them this list. Please add to it because I know there's more:

APC is PDP in New Clothes. See:

1. Sen. Pres. Bukola Saraki. PDP Governor for 8yrs and Senator for over 3yrs. Joined APC in 2014. He is the Senate President.
2. Speaker Yakubu Dogara. Two-term PDP House of Rep member. Joined APC in 2014 and was elected for a third time in 2015. He is the Speaker.

6. Sen. Barnabas Gemade. Founding father of the PDP, former National Chairman of the party and Senator from 2011. Joined APC in December 2014. He is a serving Senator.
7. Chief Audu Ogbe. Former PDP Chairman. Now Minister of Agriculture
8. Sen. Ita Enang. Two-term PDP Senator from Akwa-Ibom. Joined APC before the 2015 elections. Presently the SSA to the President on NASS.
9. Gov. Samuel Ortom. Long-serving Benue State Secretary of the PDP. Former National Auditor of the PDP and former Minister under Pres. Jonathan. Joined APC in December 2014. He is the Governor of Benue State.
10. Gov. Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State. A two-term PDP Senator from Kebbi.
11. Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Soko State. Former (PDP) Speaker of the House of Representatives. Joined APC in 2014.
12. Sen. Abdullahi Adamu. Two-term PDP Governor of Nasarawa and Senator in 2011. Joined APC in 2014. Now an APC Senator.
13. Sen. Danjuma Goje. Two-term PDP Governor of Gombe State and Senator in 2011. Joined APC in 2014. Now an APC Senator.
14. Hon. Dakuku Peterside. Was a PDP House of Reps. member from Rivers State. Joined APC along with Gov. Amaechi. He is the DG of NIMASA.
15. Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso. Two-term PDP Governor of Kano State and former Minister of Defence under Pres. Obasanjo. Joined APC in late 2013. He is an APC Senator.
16. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi. Former (PDP) Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly. Two-term PDP Governor of Rivers. Joined APC in late 2013. He is a serving Minister of the Republic.
17. Gov. Rochas Okorocha. Was a Special Adviser to PDP's Pres. Obasanjo. Became the Governor of Imo on APGA's platform. Joined APC in February 2013. He is the Governor of Imo State.

19. Gov. Nasir El-Rufai. Former FCT Minister under Pres. Obasanjo. Left the PDP in 2010 and joined CPC. He is an APC Governor of Kaduna State.
20. Gov. Bello Masari. PDP Speaker of the House of Reps in 2003. Joined the CPC in 2010. He is an APC Governor of Katsina State.

PoliticsDss Invasion Of Federal Government Girls College Calabar And Why We Should Wail by intrepid(op): 4:16am On Feb 06, 2017
I got a call in the morning of Thursday, February 2 from Architect Njor Ntangha Tabi, a staff of Federal Government Girls College, Calabar. He sounded agitated, frightened and incoherent. He was trying to say something about DSS, students, teachers, beatings, bullets and gunshots.

I tried calming him down but it wasn't working. Incidentally I was in Calabar for another assignment. I told him I will head out to the school once I was done with my assignment. That didn't happened until hours later.

When I got to the school, it was late in the evening. I met a rattled bunch of teachers, all trying to tell me what happened at the same time. A trained lawyer should know he won't get the gist of what happened in such an excited babble. I just gleaned what I could and scheduled a visit to the scene the following day and a series of interview in a temporary office they agreed to arrange for me.

Friday. 3rd February. I went to the scene and held a series of interview and came face to face with the grandfather of all impunity and the most bizarre thing that ever happened in an academic institution since man started learning how to read and write.

Mr Owai Owai, a Civic Education teacher of over 17 years standing came to class that fateful Thursday morning and found a junior student sweeping the class of the SS3 students when classes was going on in the class of the junior, against the school rules that junior students should not be found sweeping the classes of seniors during school periods.

Mr Owai was able to fish out about 10 seniors who asked the juniors to sweep their class during school period contrary to school regulations. He punished the seniors by flogging them on their palms, 2 strokes of the cane each.

One of the the seniors, Grace Loveth Asuquo, grabbed the teacher by the collar of his shirt, protesting her flogging. The teacher was shocked and gave her more strokes for her action. She told the teacher in front of the students that her parents will burn down the school today and stormed out of the class.

Mr Owai continued teaching, unknown to him that Grace has called her mum, who called her sister that is a DSS operative. Half way through the class, the student's mum, her aunt who is a DSS operative and another man, stormed the class, gestapo-style, took the teacher's canes and flogged him mercilessly before his alarmed students.

When the canes broke from the trashing of hapless Mr Owai, they descended on his frail frame and rained torrents of blows and kicks on him. The screams of the students alerted the teachers who came to the rescue.

Grace's DSS operative aunt called for reinforcement and before you can say "poor education funding", 3 Hilux load of DSS operatives stormed the school.

The operatives went berserk and started shooting sporadically and hitting teachers with anything they could find: blows, kicks, stones, gun butts! Several teachers sustained injuries from the assault and battery.

Some ran into adjoining bushes and farms to save their lives. Some of the teachers started taking pictures and videoing. When the DSS operatives found out, they went after them, forcefully collecting their phones and further brutalising them. Phones, monies, glasses and other valuables were taken away by the operatives.

When they were driving out, they found the gate locked. They beat up the security men and shut the padlock open! They abducted the student, Grace Loveth Asuquo and left the school premises.

The entire staff and students of Federal Government Girls College community are traumatized and frightened. Classes didn't hold on Friday, February 3rd because of this.

When did we get here and how? The DSS, trained, armed and paid with tax payers money; using the arms we bought for them to harass our teachers before our children. What is this?

The management and staff of the school has instructed me to demand the following:

1. A written public apology from DSS published on NTA, Radio Nigeria and 4 national dailies.

2. An oral apology given at the Assembly Ground before staff and students

3. Outright dismissal and prosecution of the operatives involved in this barbaric act.

4. To foot the hospital bills of all staff who sustained injuries during the assault.

5. To return/pay for all lost or damaged items like phones, monies, glasses, etc

6. Replace the damaged school gate

7. Pay a 10 million naira compensation to the school.

I have the further instruction of the staff to file a suit in a court of competent jurisdiction to seek for redress and damages.

We must all wail against the excesses of our law enforcement agents. Their duty is to protect us and not to intimidate us. A formal petition has been lodged with the appropriate authorities. But there is something we can do here: let's stand up and shout against this barbaric intimidation by the DSS, if we don't stand up now, there might be no one left to stand tomorrow.

Governing a country like Nigeria is indeed the hardest job on planet earth.I'm sure we'd still have the same complaint after we might have voted PMB out in 2019. Does that mean we don't have people who can move us forward or that the system keeps changing even the perceived honorable and brilliant minds?
The reaSon is that the youths are easily deceived just like some people here who are still defending PMB.

It is not as hard as you think. What do you feel GEJ would have done if he came for a second tenure? Believe me,many of those corrupt guys would have been fired. He used his first tenure almost to appease the north but they all fought against him.

Now,PMB is disappointing them all.He doesnt even know what to do for them.Check out those comments and see so many from northerners.

Ojukwu and Awo had an agreement about Nigeria when the former released him from prison but, what happened?

The north used him against Ojukwu but later dribbled Awolowo, they used Abiola to dribble him again later and finally, they dribbled Abiola himself in 1993.

Now, they have dribbled Tinubu again.

I hope, you guys will learn.
PoliticsOpen Letter To Prof Akindele Adetoye by intrepid(op): 9:01am On Jan 31, 2017
According to a facebook user, this is a letter in response to Prof Akindele's vituperations against 2face.

LETTER TO PROF AKINDELE ADETOYE

Dear Professor Akindele Adetoye,

If you actually said that to Tuface, you just messed up big time . You bumbled big time.

How low can a so called teacher and model descend? Was it juju or wine?

You represent what we all abhor in our leadership system, where as youths, we cry out for role models, brave and articulate leaders who'd lead us out of the woods. You disappointed, really.

It's a pity that you couldn't separate one's personal life from his public life, career or even aspiration for the public good. That was plain childish and immature.

Everyone in the country is crying about bad leadership (which you just displayed by your unguarded utterances), and many of the poor have no one to speak for them, including you all in comfortable positions.

Tuface is comfortable and will ever be no matter the level of recession but, he wants to leave that comfortable area, which y'all are too afraid of leaving, to align with the poor and downtrodden, to ask for a better society and the only thing you could say was your rubbish?

In other places, people like you were supposed to lead such protests but, here you are, ignorantly and shamelessly abusing those you believe aren't qualified to do it. But you're all too cowardly to speak up. You're only bold enough to abuse the innocents and those who want to act.

What has his drive and passion to lead his people to ask for good governance got to do with his personal life? Did you know that you were talking to a man like you with wife and kids, and relations?

Were you drowsy or narcoleptic while typing this? Why such gross vulgarity from a teacher of future leaders? Did it occur to you that your kids could read your post on social media and ask you questions? What would have been your explanation, sir?

Has Tuface ever asked you to train any of his kids for him? Have you ever heard that he had any issues with the moms of his kids? Is he not happily married and caring for his family?

With your education, are you richer than him or more comfortable? Is he the only one in Nigeria to have babies outside marriage? What about those ones that don't make it to the public domain?

Oga, you owe 2baba and his fans an apology.

You owe your students an apology for acting like an illiterate. It's so shameful an act and I hope you'd be literate enough to acknowledge your blunder and retrace your steps.

Thanks.

A concerned citizen.

PoliticsChibok Girls Reveal Those Behind Their Abduction(shocking Video) by intrepid(op): 3:03am On Jan 13, 2017
IS THIS TRUE?

Could this be the reason why they were shielded from the press?

Couldn't this have been why GEJ refused to intervene initially, sensing that it was actually a fraud meant to embarrass him?

Why is everyone quiet about such a heavy allegation as this? TVC,Channels? AIT and even the CNN that were all on the ground to interview every living thing here then?

- The 21 recently released Chibok girls have narrated their ordeal in the captivity of their Boko Haram abductors to a clergy, Pastor Bulus

- They told Bulus they were not immediately taken into the forest after capture but to a house in Borno Government Residential Area (GRA) in Maiduguri where they stayed for two months

- From the GRA, the girls said they were taken to Gwoza where they claimed that a top politician allegedly housed them in one of his residences for about 8 months

- The girls also reportedly said that some of the Chibok girls never made it to Sambisa forest as they were killed in Gwoza by a bomb allegedly dropped on the house they were staying by a Nigerian Airforce fighter jet

The recently released Chibok girls have revealed details of how some politicians allegedly sponsored the activities of the Boko Haram insurgents in the northeast for their personal gains.

According to a Chibok clergy called Pastor Bulus Baba from Kaya community in Chibok local government area of Borno state, his discussions with some of the girls revealed that some politicians reportedly played an active part in their abduction. In an interview with Daily Post in Maiduguri, Pastor Bulus said the politicians reportedly did this in order to frustrate the administration of past president Goodluck Jonathan.

First, he said, the girls claimed they were not immediately driven into the forest as widely believed, but were first taken to a house in Borno Government Residential Area in Maiduguri where they stayed for two months before they were taken to Gwoza where they claimed that a top politician allegedly housed them in one of his residences for about 8 months. They were however forced to head into Sambisa forest after a bomb was dropped on the compound by a Nigerian Airforce fighter jet. Some of the Chibok girls and other women abducted along with them were allegedly killed in the attack.

Bulus said: ”The girls said, they spent over 8 months in Gwoza local government area along with other abducted women. They said they were kept at a resident of one of the top politicians in that local government area until at a point when a fighter jet dropped bomb that touch part of the house killing some of the girls.”

The Boko Haram had released a video some time ago and claimed that the Nigerian Armed Forces mistakenly killed some civilians while dropping bombs. But the Nigerian Airforce denied killing civilians in its attack.

The girls said that after leaving Gwoza, they were divided into groups and while some severely sexually abused and others were forced to marry the militants.

The federal government however declared (upon release of 21 girls) that none of them had been abused.

Pastor Bulus said: “It was a sad story, we believe that those behind this evil will never go unpunished. For us in Chibok, we will keep praying that, those of them who are still being held by their captors shall gain freedom and be reunited with their families like these ones that came home.”

Meanwhile, in its determined counter-terrorism efforts, the Department of State Services says it has recorded major successes against criminal gangs, kidnap syndicates and Boko Haram terrorists across the country.

The agency says the successes have further degraded the capability of these elements to operate in the county.

COLLECT WHAT NA?

Anybody asking them to collect the money is very ignorant or hypocritical and isn't even Patriotic.

The government should learn to respect their hero's. This attitude is what makes many people to not want to suffer for the country because government will not remember you ESPECIALLY If you are NOT from the north.

Check out the names of all the players and see if anyone was from the north.

Now, what do you think would have been the story if you found that this team consists of Zainabs, Asisats, Zahras, and fatimans or Aishas?

They should go to the streets.

Remember, it might be your turn tomorrow and they'd refuse to any you. Only then will you understand what is actually happening in Nigeria

Klins2000:
The population is not that large enough to consider sample size. I suggest you use all.
But if you insist on using sample size, then google the formula of Yaro Yamanne (1969), and apply it and get your sample size.
You can also use the statistical table of Krejcie and Morgan (1970) to derive your sample size.
Good luck.
Thanks a lot brother. I was considering using all but I needed to back it up with a reason. Any reference that supports using all of a population in a research?

I read census method but I haven't yet seen any literature that defined it or talked about WHEN it should be used. You know I have to be able to defend what I used and why I used it.

Once again. Thanks

And i read that there is a formula to calculate the sample size for small populations, however i have searched the internet well without finding such.

What sampling method can i use for such a small population and is there a formula i can use to support what i did?
