Politicians know how to tickle the fancy of gullible Nigerians. While Sanwo-Olu and the HOA members are siphoning the state fund they decided to stir the emotions indigenes and occupants as a distraction. Nonsense people, when will they declare a special week for poverty eradication, end to bad roads and dilapidated infrastructure?

Travel / Re: Nigerian Couple Buys A House 2 And Half Years Of Moving To UK. by Intrepid01(m): 3:13am On Apr 27
Don’t let anybody put you under pressure, you can buy a house under 1 year in UK, US or Canada. This is because properties are purchased via mortgage, you don’t have to pay all at once. All you need to do is save up down payment, which is always around 5-7% of the total value. This means that if you want to buy a house of $400k, all you’ll need would be about $20k plus other fees that might make total expenses get close to $30k, using Canada as an example. The remaining payment on $400k would be spread across 25 - 30 years for the owner, thereby making a monthly mortgage payment of about $2k. So when you hear that someone has purchased a house abroad, it is not the same as Nigeria, where you have to have the whole money before you can buy. Infact I can tell you that most things people buy abroad are bought on credit. I just bought IPhone 15 pro max, the cost is about $2200. Anybody from Naija that sees it in my hand would think I made outright payment, but that’s not true, I paid about $200 down payment in total and I’ll be paying $100 per month till the payment is complete. So guys don’t let anybody put you under pressure. You’re doing well.

Politics / Re: Name 3 Politicians That Nigerians Trust by Intrepid01(m): 7:02pm On Apr 26
Only foolish and naive people dey trust naija politicians, inspite of the shege they’ve shown all of us over the years. I know the author of this thread is a fan of Peter Obi, yes, because the author of this thread is either Igbo, an ipob member or just plainly gullible. FYI I’m well knowledgeable to know all Naija Politicians are the same, so I support none. One day your eyes go clear too, it’s a matter of time.

Lol, Israel has gone to bribe IAEA Chief to make this familiar statement, so that they can build up hostilities against them for collaborative attacks. This strategy is old, Israel needs to come up with new strategy.

Naija Politicians are mad, so some people travelled from Lagos, probably on a private jet to go and launch the opening of a bore-hole. The cost of the publicity would even be higher than the cost of the borehole. Mad people everywhere.
Politics / Re: Atiku Knocks Tinubu Over Secrecy In Lagos-Calabar Highway Project by Intrepid01(m): 9:17pm On Apr 07
Omo Politicians will ruin this country. For those who don’t know, Chagoury brothers are the famous Lebanese that have been doing business in Nigeria since the 50s. They financed Tinubu’s elections, if you remember all those travels to France, yes, they were the one he was going to meet. Now is the time to pay them back with a back-breaking project at the expense of Nigerians.

Meanwhile, Atiku the whistleblower is not shouting because of his love for Nigeria but because he knows about the financial arrangements and understands how all of them including him pay back those that finance their elections. The only victim here are ordinary Nigerians.

The only thing he had was NGOs for peace mission and those were the foundations he used to siphon millions of dollars of amnesty funds for his boss, Kinsgley Kuku. that was the money they used to buy aircrafts to start Airpeace airline in 2013. We all remember US Department of Justice declared Allen Oyema wanted and issued a warrant of arrest for him. No matter what he does, he cannot enter the United States. Airpeace cannot have a direct flight to the US.
Kingsley Kuku is the owner of Airpeace, Onyema is just a front.

There are so many overnight billionaires in Nigeria like that, most especially Igbos. If you ask questions now, they’ll say why didn’t you ask questions when they were poor. Our society is deficient in morals and ethics, anything goes. Ritualists and robbers have become business moguls overnight without any questioning.

Education / Re: WAEC Blacklists Abia Schools Over Exam Malpractice by Intrepid01(m): 11:46am On Mar 21
Schools in the east have least been regarded and used as special centers since time immemorial. I remember people travelling from the west to east just to go and write g.c.e. The more reason why many don’t take all those WAEC results from the East seriously.

Meanwhile that does not mean they don’t cheat in the west or north too or that everyone in the East cheats. Not at all….but it has always been known as place of special center including Edo.

Romance / Re: She Made Him Wait For 4 Years For Sex, But Slept With A New Guy In A Week! by Intrepid01(m): 1:59pm On Mar 13
I repeat, ladies are smarter, more intelligent, more manipulative than men. She purposely took a break from her relationship to sleep with another guy, a guy whom in her head is not man enough cos he’s not assertive, too kind and too soft for her liking but treats her well. Now she met an alpha male, a direct guy that is assertive, insulting and sexually provocative.
If I were in your shoes, this is the opportunity to redeem your image, get into your room, cry out all the feelings you have for her, then wipe your face, block her from all sources. Make yourself unreachable, let her come crying to you, indirectly let her see you aren’t interested anymore. She’ll try to offer you sex, take the opportunity, sleep with her for as many times and as long as you need to make up for your past stupidity. After several rounds of sex, she’ll ask you indirectly most likely, if you have forgiven her, tell her with a gentle voice that you’ve forgiven her but you don’t think you can lover her anymore. But you’ll continue to try (add this if you desire more sex), tell her that it is better you guys continue with the break. Gradually you guys will become FWB till you find a more deserving lady.

If people like you bothered to reas Nigerian history, you would know it was Gowon who caused the war by not abiding to the agreement he signed with Ojukwu in Ghana

No you’re wrong, the main issue is that people like you are trying to re-write history. I know that’s a convenient lie your elders told you but try and pick up books and read. I’ve read books on the Nigerian civil war, written by Nigerians. I’m very well aware that what caused the civil war wasn’t aburi meeting. But you see, if that lie makes you sleep well at night continue to live with it. However, note that it is foolish to do same thing twice and expect a different result.

It is your father and ancestors that are fools. Everyone knows your tribesmen are generally fools who hardly learn from history. You know what, start another war again with your foolishness and you will see your fathers and children die like rats. Very senseless set of people. Nobody will allow you to re-write history, find out from your elders, if there are still any sensible one, if the agreement at Aburi included war once it is not met. Idiotic fool.

Igbos are so difficult to understand you know. You keep blaming others for a war started by an igbo man. A war that all and sundry begged him not to start, a war that caught the FG unawares because they weren’t interested in it and didn’t do anything until Ojukwu sent men to attack.

The only person you should be telling that the war was needless, useless and infantile is Ojukwu that started it.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Trump Says He'd ‘encourage’ Russia To Attack NATO Allies Who Don’t Pay Up Enough by Intrepid01(m): 4:32pm On Feb 12
In the end it’s obviously a game of the Powerful and the Conquered. So there are superpowers and there are the conquered. Once you annoy one super power (America), the super power will threaten to ask the other super power (Russia) on the other side to wage war against you, as a means to keep you in check . In the end you’ll realize that there’s no difference between US and Russia, all super powers want the same thing, dominance, submission and colonization, the only difference is in the methodology.

Eastern European nations will later on realize that the safest thing to do is to make peace with their Neighbour ((Russia) as running to NATO won’t really give them the protection they desire.

Career / Re: Nigerian Lady Fired From New Job In Canada For Saying Sorry Too Much by Intrepid01(m): 4:10pm On Feb 06
Hmmm I can relate with it as a Canadian resident. For my part- time job, see my exchange with one of my clients:

Client: Hey

Me: Hi, how are you doing? (Not that I really mean to know how’s he’s doing but it’s a form greeting I’ve adopted since I was in pry school as a Nigerian).

Client: Oh I’ve been in pain for the past few days, the pain isn’t going down at all.

Me: Awww I’m so sorry about that. ( genuinely from my heart).

Client: (looking at me shocked), why are you sorry? It’s not your fault, you didn’t put the pain there.

Me: Oh well I’m sorry, I’m just used to that.

Client: Lol, you just did it again

Me: really? I’m sorry

Client: Lol

Relocation is like being born again, it’s a total new life, you’ll need to learn, relearn and unlearn.

I went to a hospital early this morning, Can you imagine no one is even saying good morning to each other? Just a minimum of Hi or Hello. If you dare say good morning, no one answers.

Some of them even look shocked when you say good morning, like I don’t understand that.

Oh so you think or feel relatable to be called a criminal for no reason? Sometimes I wonder how people think, I wonder if you people know these guys opinion go farther than you think? I live in Canada and I’ve met people voice out their incorrect opinion about people, continent, tribe, life based on things they heard on the internet. Do you even know that custom officials and other security agencies gather information like this on the internet? They use it to make judgment about people moving from border to border. I just hope one day Africans would stop misusing internet.
