Lol, you are making sense but that’s not the way it works. There’s a base amount for each route, however the force of demand determines the marginal amount added to that base price. Check anywhere in the world, any place less travelled will have the cheapest amount compared relatively to places with high traffic, pls note the word relative. I do not mean that places less travelled can’t be expensive, it’s just that places more travelled are more expensive on the average. The truth is, all those flight companies, share the total cost on all passengers in the end, regardless of the route. Travelers must as a group pay for the cost of running flight operations and the base profit expected. Flight business na special business oh, it doesn’t follow the usual formula. Mr. A will pay $1000 for a flight Mr.B paid $200 for and they’ll end up as seat partners on that same flight. Inspite of the high cost of running flight operations to Kano, due to low passenger traffic for example, there’s a ceiling to the price tag you can place on the ticket, Anambra with high traffic will pay for the possible shortage on Kano route. That’s the way it is, the high demand on Anambra route means willingness and capability to pay more while low traffic on Kano route means lack of will and capacity to pay. Like I said at the beginning, THE HIGHER THE DEMAND THE HIGHER THE PRICE!! the very 1st law of demand in elementary economics.

Chaii Nigerians and their entitlement mentality. That’s how air flight works in every other country. Prices are determined by the forces of demand, 200 people going to Anambra can never pay same amount with 22 people going to Kaduna. Even at that, the first 10 -20 people to buy ticket on a flight to Anambra might pay significantly less than the last 20 -30 people going to Anambra on that same flight. That’s how it is done everywhere. But Nigerians won’t agree, they’ll insult and fight you in their sheer ignorance.

It is this kind of internal feud you’ll expect the self-acclaimed party leader; Atiku, to mediate and resolve things, but heck no, you only see him around every 4yrs when it’s time to contest for the party’s presidential ticket. Nonsense!

People have done things against the law, the law was active when they did it but you are here blaming the government for not stopping them when they were doing it. You should be ashamed of yourself. I’ll continue to say it, politicians are the same and Peter Obi is a pathetic liar. No President under the Nigerian constitution can stop National Assembly from making purchases, as at today, except the constitution is changed tomorrow. Infact, the budget of the National Assembly is not vetted by the Presidential team, the NA inserts their own budget into the general budget after the Executive submits the general budget. If the President isn’t happy with what they’ve inserted and disagrees, the NA will refuse to approve the general budget and can paralyze government because there will be no money to spend. Peter Obi knows this but he knows his teaming followers don’t know the process so he can say anything. Some days ago, he said the cars giving to the NA guys are official because he didn’t know how to defend the LP guys. But the question is, is there anyone who doesn’t know those cars are official?

My opinion is all naija politicians including Peter Obi are the same. I don’t support anyone of them but they are all capitalizing on our collective gullibility. Why will Yoruba join force with Igbos in the first place for an Igbo war? Get sincere with yourself, if your neighbor decides to go to a war, are you in anyway obliged to join him? Stop dreaming and wishing nonsense, whatever you choose to do is your personal responsibility, no one else should be blamed for it. Yorubas and other ethnic groups did not agree with Igbos that they wanted war, Ojukwu dragged Igbos into war, even Azikiwe opposed it, so whatever happened should be the responsibility of the Igbos and their leaders that dragged them to war, leave Yorubas out of it. Each and everyone will lay on their bed the way they’ve made it. It is childish to be blaming others for your actions. Nobody owe you support or solidarity when you choose to go to war alone. Some Yoruba elders like Wole Soyinka and Awolowo (google to confirm it) persuaded Ojukwu without success not to embark on a war but because he was thinking with his butt rather than his head he didn’t yield to their plea. But when the war became tough, he abandoned his people and fled like a coward to Ivory Coast leaving his people to die like fowls in the hands of federal soldiers. When will you guys get realistic and blame Ojukwu for taking you to a senseless war and also for abandoning his people at the most critical time? Adolf Hitler called for war and stood till the end, great soldiers fight and die with their honour but Ojukwu without honour ran like a woman from war front. Igbos can chest beat but we all know beneath that chest beating is a midget coward with little brain.

This people just wake up and put something as write up and then it makes NL front page. So leaving naija na beans abi? You need to find out the cost implication of dreaming to travel out, before you start saying an employed, broke and uneducated person should travel out.

You must have atleast one of the 3 things below before your travel request would even be considered:

1. Adequate funding.
2. Relevant education.
3. Relevant work experience.

If you don’t have any of the following don’t even dream it.
