I did my capturing in Ikoyi Office on February 15. I saw on my SCREEN after capturing that my collection date is February 18.

Monday 21, I sent a tweet to their official handle saying my collection date is Feb 18 and I will like to know the status before going there so I do not waste my time. They replied on Twitter saying they would get back to me.

I needed the passport ASAP. So by Friday 25th of February, I went to their office and it was ready.

I realized it was printed 2 days after tweeting them (Feb 23). They updated my tweet yesterday (Monday Feb 28) saying i can go and pick up my passport (which I've collected on Friday).

PS: This is my personal experience and you may not get the same outcome if you do the same but DIY is strongly recommended.

The day you were turned back, did they check your appointment slip for the date, did they check their computer system to make sure it was your scheduled date OR did you on your own reveal it?

They didn't check their system.

The officer I met at the servicom asked to see a copy of my appointment. I told him I don't know what he was referring to (I was trying to be ignorant like I don't know, but I have the printout).

Then he told me to go back to my portal to print my appointment slip, then I went outside and came back with the printout I had.

He then told me to come on my appointment day. I even tried to persuade him, but he said there's nothing he can do.

That aside, if they should collect your file/document, they'll check it too.

If you haven't deleted your browser history, search for "https://appointments.immigration.gov.ng/app/print/" or "appointment slip" without quotes.

My spouse did her capturing at NIS Ibadan office mid-October 2021; the officer we engaged has just been full of stories - initially there is no passport, later the Passport has arrived but there's a huge backlog. This week now he said passport is exhausted again and they're expecting supply from Abuja...and he doesn't know how soon. 4 months counting, it's all cock-and-bull story.
Is there any way around this...it's so tiring

I'm asking these few questions to know so as to make best decision & I'd really appreciate your response.

Before my passport expired in Feb 5th 2022, I applied online for a renewal in Jan 3rd 2022 & I captured on Feb 10th 2022 @ NIS Warri office, the NIS Officer told me there's no booklet to issue cos even those who applied 4months ago haven't gotten theirs. That I might not get mine even in the next 6months & I need it urgently.

Questions:
1. Can I reapply for a renewal in another state that booklet to issue?
2. If yes, which state will you recommend (with address Pls)?
3. How long does it take to be issued?
4. If I can't get it immediately can it be sent via courier services after its been processed?
5. How much will 32 pages cost?

Solution 2: I believe the officer must have even overcharged you. Talk to him he'll tell you to pay a certain amount so they can issue your passport ASAP.

Go the Mapoly admin block (Admin Isale )

ND - 20k, HND - 20K, Email - 5k, Courier to WES - 13k.

The above were the prices I paid around August last year I think.

You need your WES reference number along side photocopy of your Statement of result.

Which year did you graduate? If your certificate is not ready you'll need to pay 2k (1k for ND, 1K for HND) so they can give you "to whom letter" to replace your diploma certificate because WES will ask.

1. I paid in cash to the migration officer. He's inside the PCO's office.

2. I paid on Jan 28. I scheduled a date initially for March 7. But on February 1, I went to their office to see if I would be attended to. But they requested to see my appointment, I was told to come back on the day I chose.

Luckily, I saw a nearer date when playing on the calendar page, so I selected February 15.

3. My advise: Start your application and make payment as soon as you can so as to pick a nearer date. If not, the more you delay, the more you see a farther date.

Hello boss, I plan to renew my passport using DIY in ikoyi passport office, It will be expiring in Nov but my agent says 50k for renewal and 5k for migration because its still more than 6 months to expiry. what do you advise? Seems to me the agents are not doing anything extra, they are just collecting money and can't even influence pushing the appointment date forward from my discussion with him. Firstly, God will pun!sh the agent

Secondly, they are not doing anything extra.

Thirdly, Migration is 5k. I also paid for it cos my passport would expire in October.

Fourthly, Renewal for 32 pages / 5 years is 25k and 64 pages / 5 years is 35k and 64 Pages/10 years is 70k.

Lastly, Do it yourself. It's not stressful at all.

I captured February 15. While capturing, I checked my collection date and it says February 18. But when i returned my file to the migration officer, he said i should come this Friday (Feb 25).

I did this - 64 Pages/10 years is 70k.

I got there around 10 am, and i left around 2pm.

There are many schools and different fees for dependants too.

Have you searched the courses you are interested in? The estimate you'd need is always on the tuition/cost of Appearance page of a school's website.

I've just mentioned 30 billion, someone else will tell you 10 million and another will say 20 million.

False. The money is even tooooooooo much. Go to their website and start your application.

You'll see the price according to your preferred state, booklet number (32/64), years (10/5)

50k is too much for renewal of 32 and 64 pages.
