It definitely does not carry what it measures. Forget all these marketing gimmicks. They can't even get 2gb of ram on their phone na 9,000mah battery dem want put. Good battery does not come cheap, just like fake powwrbanks in the market claiming to have 30,000mah but in reality they are not even up to 6,000mah.

Am typing this with my BB sub on the same phone that is 200mb+ for the past 3 days, and it is still 200+, I only switch to Glo free mb cuz it will expire in 4days why my BB sub still 2 week plus

I want any Glo customer care agent to help me explain why this type of billing on my sim when I make calls even when they say its 11k Per Seconds with *100*6*1# I am being charge 50k

Also their so-called Promo of loading N200 for 200mb plus 200 to call nat number and 200 for F&F , The MB burn like paper with only whatsapp chat active and BBm idle under 30mins, 94MB has been exhuasted, i use Mobiwol to restrict other apps,

and even with registered F&F they keep saying my calls can't be completed, please try and explain and I give out my number for you to check, your customer care take forever to connect.

One thing people don't realize is the mobiwol/firewall flaws that makes these firewalls apps like mobiwol to drain more data themselves while trying to stop other apps from connecting.


If you doubt me go to your data usage and see the volume of data mobiwol itself consumes.It may be half or more than half of the entire data volume.


At the end of the day, they burn far more data than they are trying to protect.


So the solution still remains to stop background data of all apps and to disable auto sync and automatic backup.


Uninstall Mobiwol.

Nobody is doubting the capability of Phantom 5, after all it has a 3gb ram 2.0ghz Octa-core 64bit so basically it's an excellent device but the the bottom line here is that it is overpriced simple! There are many Chinese phones with world wide recognition while Tecno is still unknown outside Africa, those Chinese companies offer better specs and performance yet below 50k. If Tecno wants to go premium like samsung, Sony, apple etc issokay but this is not the right way and certainly not the right time.

Excellent observation. The outrageously high price is a turn off.

I like the data management part. Gionee M3 mini also has it.


Any Phone that fails to have this important feature in a data draining Android OS has not really began.

My Glo Sim has not been calling or browsing for 2 days now.

Goes offline for more than 5 hours at a time and when it ever gets network it still won't call or browse.

Where is the innovation? What has Tecno done that others aren't doing. Infinix released a 5-inch 16GB infinix hot smartphone at a starting price of 13k before demand pushed it up. None!! ... not even tecno has dared that phone. They never made noise about innovation.


They went ahead to release an android one 2GB RAM phone for 19k.Till today unrivaled and they made no noise.


Now Gionee has released a 4000mah 4G LTE,OTG,OTA smartphone sold cheap for 16k.

Tecno is coming up and we are trying to cheer them and you as one of their marketers are here to spite.


Let them sell the phone N20,000 or however they wish & that's if people don't ignore them. Another daring OEM will still rise and make a similar phone and sell it for 12k to your chagrin.

If you doubt me put it on heavy use and the best you'll ever get won't go beyond 12 hours.


A real 6000mah battery will give you nothing less than 24 hours on heavy use.

I recently saw an infinix hot note pro and an IPhone 6 plus in full use and the wide price margin made the iPhone look stupid cos the cheap infinix beat the iPhone in functionality, battery life and beauty.

Update: I did the N200 plan just to test it and truly got the 200mb and N200 family and friends but when I dial the airtime balance code #124*1#, I don't get to see the N200 free credit they promised.


Is there any other code to check the free airtime to all networks or is it Glo playing tricks again?
