Living up to & even surpassing the limits of its predecessors in the TECNO L series, the L5, Not only can last for two days, it also comes with an OTG cable, meaning it can charge other devices. Cool innit ? Lol More like super cool

Somebody on the inside let me in on this info, I don't really know much but here are a few specs ;

- 4.5" IPS display

- Runs on Android 5.0 lollipop

- 5000mah battery, which means whatever catches your fancy, gaming, social networking, photos & videos Etc or even if you fancy all, you get an unlimited experience.

- It's a very portable device

- It will sell for about N12,000 - N14,000, a very cost effective device.

Whether as a primary or secondary device this phone is here to put a stop to battery issues.

But 5000mah battery without fast charging tech gives folks headache.


Its really a good phone nevertheless.

Good development... but the price sha! N2,200 can possibly buy me 10,000mah power bank in the same Jumia.Innjoo power bank maybe.


They should just adjust the price to say N1,500 and its perfect. By the way something is missing....

Its a big fat capital LIE. Everyone that cares to have witnessed that the thing takes no less than 3 hours to charge especially on its follow come 1A charger.

Scientifically, no 1A charger can charge a 4000mah battery in less than 3 hours. Its not possible.

Op has not shown us how this is the smartphone with the BIGGEST BATTERY LIFE and MOST AFFORDABLE.

Keep in mind that we already have 5000mah and 6000mah battery phones around.

Gionee's only problem is marketing.They don't take marketing seriously. Tecno and infinix with lower quality products market aggressively. They have their adverts in all the major tech markets, webs and blogs.


All the tech mega dealers are well in partnership with Tecno and the likes but go into many tech shops and you observe that many Gionee products are foreign to them while Tecno and infinix litter the shops.


Aside that they have quality and brand far better than Tecno and others. They also have affordable phones too.

If a battery is shorted, the battery will be discharged
very quickly and will heat up due to the high current flow.
Short circuits can produce very high temperatures due to the
high power dissipation in the circuit. It also has effect on the charging rate of the battery. How does this happen, it always happen when your charger always shake while in power source, it happens most often when you use the phone while charging, though this is mostly not noticed until you discover the charging isn't moving at all.

When it happened to mine, I was on 60% for more than 45mins. Not until I removed the battery, returned it back and discovered it has even reached 100%. Sometimes, over charging causes it too.

About non removable battery, if your phone has reset button, just tap it. It will fix it
