2) These religions accepted the slavery of Africans
Islam and Christianity arrived in Africa through slavery. The Arabs came to the Kanem Bornu empire (which is partly in Nigeria) to take slaves. The Europeans/Americans got slaves from West Africa. Judaism supports slavery in certain forms. A slave that accepts the slavemaster's religion is a slave forever.


3)These religions destroy African culture
Are Hijab and Niquaab the cultural dresses of Yoruba or Hausa women? Why do we give our children Jewish and Arab names instead of Nigerian names?

Well actually, the same can be said of the West. Christianity and Judaism were Abrahamic religions not Western religions, Western religions such as the Greco-Roman pantheon (Zeus, Poseidon/Neptune, Hades, etc.), the Norse-German religion (Thor, Odin/Woden, Loki, etc.), Celtic mythology and other religions were "indigenous" religions of Europe prior to the spread of Christianity and Manichaeism. Zoroastrianism was the major religion of Persia and Iranian lands prior to the spread of the Muslim Empire.

Christianity reach parts of Africa in the same way, particularly in the East, but while the West is stepping past Abrahamic literalism, most of Africa is chained to it.

The whole 'marry within your religion' shebang is straight up dark ages stuff, back when religion was a political alliance and one tribe's religion made the difference between whether it got raided or not (not always though). You'll notice that all the countries that prevent marriage between people of differing faiths are Muslim states, specifically non-muslim men and muslim women. These states also tend to have other such nasty things as the death penalty, blasphemy laws, horrible migrant worker laws, among other things. I don't understand the purpose of this subforum. Religion is a section to discuss religion, but creating a seperate miniforum for Muslims and ONLY Muslims feels extremely biased to me. It's providing a space for Muslims to share their views without criticism or discussion which goes against the point of this forum. Hell, if there was a "Christianity for Christians" section this forum's discussions would be basically nonexistent.

If a muslim joins this forum then they will obviously head to that section and avoid debate. I don't think this is fair and actually believe that it is arrogant for muslims to get such a privilege. Instead of actually having their beliefs poked and prodded, muslims on this forum are repeating the neurotic tradition of muslims everywhere to shun advice from anyone who is not another Muslim. These are people from over a thousand years ago during the Islamic Golden Age, who took a critical position on the Quran and Hadith. They questioned the gospel modern day Muslims take as law and dismissed them if they did not hold up to rational scrutiny. They also rejected that the Quran had existed eternally, and believed that it was clearly something which was written down. Many of the greatest Muslim mathematicians and scientists were Mu'tazilites (many others were closet atheists and agnostics).

Today this ideology is practically dead. Funded with billions of dollars by Saudi Arabia among others, Salafi ideology has spread like bracken over the poor populations of corrupt muslim countries from Egypt to Turkey to India. Extremists like ISIS, Wahhabists and Salafis use Mutazilite as an insult, and not even some of the most critical "modern muslims" only "interpret" the Quran, instead of outright criticising and rejecting some of it's verses.
