I dedicate this FTC to the expectation the SC reverses that embarrassment of a judgement in Imo state.

But if the judgment is let stand, two things:
(1) U can no longer tell Nigerians that lying and cheating does not pay when they can see for themselves that the highest court in the land rewards blatant cheating and forgery.
(2) By the precedent set there, any candidate able to obtain INEC documents (usually ruling party candidates) can write any result they wish and the Supreme Court must accept those results no matter how fraudulent or defective they may be, inevitably leading to a one-party country

Most people commenting here do not even have any idea about what a nursing home is because they have never seen or been to one before.
These are places were in most cases very fragile, vulnerable, sick and old people are cared for. Majority of them are even hospice patients, meaning that they have been given a specific period to expire.
In most of those facilities, all sorts of life support, ventilation equipments and artificial gastric feeding tubes are commonly used by the residents. Their immune system are often compromised and requires uttermost care.
The truth is, such individuals on a normal situation wouldn’t survive 24 hours in Nigeria.
Those are the one readily affected by any opportunistic disease.
It is ignorance to compare the environment and circumstances in US to Nigeria. Such individuals in Nigeria can only be found in the graves.

If it is not true, do you have the resources to verify it? Will you start tracing each passenger's movement to find out if he/she is lying? Let me answer your questiin. They filled out forms. Useless forms if you ask me. Like someone said here that anyone can put any information on those forms. Do you have the resources to verify such? I noticed the scenarios at NAIA and Heathrow in the past one week, but there are a few things we need to consider here.

How many Covid-19 patients and carriers have ever been detected with thermal scanners? What is the detection rate? Most carriers look and seem perfectly normal before they get sick, while still being infective, which means you may not achieve anything with those thermal scanners.

As for the questionnaires, I guess we have to assume that everybody is sincere. Would you have answered yes if you had fever in the past 2 weeks even if you knew exactly what caused it? Imagine you travelled for just one week to sort out something very critical, and you end up being quarantined in undignifying conditions on account of fever or other symptoms that have nothing to do with Covid-19.

Heathrow is the 3rd busiest Airport in the world. Atlanta has the busiest. You can imagine the volume of passengers that pass through these airports daily. Why waste time, manpower and resources on an activity that will most likely not produce any meaningful result? Imagine that despite the scanners and questionnaire ish, an Italian still imported the disease into Nigeria and wasn't detected. He got unwell within 24 hours or so after arriving into Nigeria, yet the airport screening couldn't detect him.
This is probably the reason why American and British governments don't want to waste time and money on the so-called airport screening.

Only real solution is automatic quarantine, which Nigeria can’t do because they have no facilities.

Like I stated earlier that temperaturw thing has been there since ebola. Ask yourself how those qurstionnaires are used. Are thungs documented or are you just filling forms which will be thrown aside as you people usually do.
