This man has been on the wrong side of the news off lately. Well whatever he gets suits him.

I remember 2015 election vividly how my hometown (Rumuorlumeni) voted for this man. Apc didn't even get up 10% vote. Fast forward last year election. he got 100% vote from us.
But I can tell you wholeheartedly that my community cannot boast of a project been carried out by his govt.
To an extent the youths and CDC chairman went to pay him a visit at govt house, to plead with him to help tarred the bad roads in Rumuorlumeni. Wike walked them out of govt house.
2015 build up to the election Ameachi was been attacked in my community when he came for campaign because Rumuorlumeni wanted to prove a point to Wike that they are with him.

Rumuorlumeni was the first community to give him chieftaincy title when he was obio/akpor LG chairman
See how this wicked man pay us back. No Rumuorlumeni man has ever gotten any appointment from this Wike govt.

IBB is right right to some extent.

What these Governors should have done is to first ask the Federal govt for State police via the executive and legislative branches of govt.
If that fails or taking too long, then why not convert all these other agencies into security apparatus such as Lasma and the other neighborhood security agency. The problem I see here is training even with Nigerian police force. Provide excellent training to those in Lasma and other agencies, rename them to Amotekun or whatever but with a mandate to tackle all sorts of law breakers from traffic, stealing, kidnapping and whatever. This way the gov does not have to pay another set of people salaries every month when they still struggling trying to pay current employees.
We do not have enough police, not even close and the ones we have are poorly trained.
Convert all these VIO, Lasma and all other useless agencies into well trained police force with arms. Add a little to their salaries and kapish you have solved many problems with what you already have.

Group Denies Report on Wheelbarrow Empowerment Scheme in Enugu Council

Enugu Youth Coalition has debunked the report making round in the social media claiming that the council chairperson for Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, Mrs. Chinwe Ugwu distributed some wheelbarrows to youths of the council as part of her youth empowerment scheme under hire-purchase system.

It however took us some time to investigate the matter before issuing this statement setting the records straight.

Hence, our investigation showed that the story was distorted to ridicule the state government as the said wheelbarrows were procured for use by the Department of Works and Housing in Nsukka Local Government Area of the state.

The decision was reached after the inventory of all the equipments in the council was taken by the new chairperson.

In the process, it was discovered that the Works and Housing Department had obsolete equipments which needed to be replaced for effective service delivery in the council.

According to our investigation, the central idea was based on the fact that, the road maintenance, housing and construction works of the council are been done by contractors whereas the council has it's own staff who are collecting salary every month for the same job.

So, as part of the cost-saving measure by the Chief Administrator, an approval was given for the procurement of relevant equipments for the Works and Housing Department so that, the staff of the council can now be doing the work they were employed to do by their employer.

Therefore, the commissioning of the procured wheelbarrows which mischief makers tagged as poverty alleviation programme was just the first set of equipments delivered for the Works and Housing Department of the Council.

We therefore urge the reading public to disregard the distorted news report as that is the handiwork of mischief makers who never mean well for the state.

Truly, Enugu State is in the Hands of God!
