Manchester United will be looking to continue a nine-match unbeaten run in all competitions at Cardiff on Super Sunday. Having stabilised their season prior to the international break, United will be looking to maintain the momentum in the 4pm kick-off, which is live on Sky Sports 1HD. However, the excitement Ryan Giggs might feel at the chance of representing United in his home town for the first time will be tempered by the fitness concerns around the Red Devils' camp. Michael Carrick, meanwhile, has given the club a lift after extending his United contract until the summer of 2015 on Friday. And the visitors will be full of confidence having beaten league leaders Arsenal 1-0 at Old Trafford and won 3-1 at Fulham on their last away day. Malky Mackay's men won their last home game, with Steven Caulker earning a 1-0 derby win over Swansea - but their morale took a hit following a 2-0 defeat by Paul Lambert's Aston Villa outfit in their last outing. Paul Merson's prediction I don't think David Moyes can afford to rest any of his players. I reckon Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea will all win this weekend and if Manchester United drop points then they will slip further back in the title race and all the good work they did by beating Arsenal two weeks ago will go out the window. This will be a difficult game for them, but I think they will win it. The Cardiff City Stadium isn't the hardest place to go - I saw Tottenham go there the other week and they could have scored 100 - and Cardiff haven't looked good in some games, especially away from home. It all depends how long they can hold out. |
chelsea will win this one |
i think my topic about westham vs chelsea should be at the frontpage please. i don try |
West Ham will be hoping for a repeat of last season's result in this fixture when they face Chelsea on Saturday, live on Sky Sports 1HD. Juan Mata's goal gave Chelsea a half-time lead at Upton Park last term, but Carlton Cole equalised before Mohamed Diame struck a second and Modibo Maiga hit a third. Jose Mourinho will be wary of a repeat, particularly after being less than impressed by Chelsea's performance in the 2-0 defeat at Newcastle at the start of the month. The Portuguese coach has happy history of facing Hammers boss Sam Allardyce. It was at the Reebok Stadium against Allardyce's Bolton that Mourinho led Chelsea to the club's first championship in 50 years in 2005. Frank Lampard scored both goals that day, but the former Hammer can expect a frosty reception on his old stomping ground following his move from east to west London in 2001. Chelsea are on a two-game winless run in the league after the Newcastle defeat and controversial 2-2 draw with West Brom last time out, while West Ham will be looking to bounce back from their 3-1 humbling at the hands of Chris Hughton's Norwich. Paul Merson's prediction Chelsea have had a couple of bad results against Newcastle and West Brom, which you can put down to complacency, but they are still there or thereabouts in the title race. I expect them to get back to winning ways in this game because I can't see how West Ham are going to hurt them. They put all their eggs in one basket with Andy Carroll and then he got injured, which has been a big blow. The worrying thing for Sam Allardyce is that they've been playing fairly well and yet are right down the bottom, but they should be okay in the long run. I can't see them getting anything from this game though. www.skysports.com/football/.../preview |

They were abducted from their family home in Opume, Ogbia Local Government Area. The develpment was confirmed by the Bayelsa Police Command. The kidnappers are yet to make contact with the family. The PDP chieftain is the younger brother of King Amalate Turner, the Obanema of Opume Kingdom. Sexy songstress Tiwa Savage will tomorrow, 23 November, take a big step into matrimony as she will get married to her hearthrob, Tunji ‘Tee Bliz’ Balogun. The much-publicised traditional wedding will be holding at the Arc Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos, the same venue that hosted top dignitaries that came for Peter Okoye (half of PSquare) and Lola Omotayo’s wedding. It was learnt that the strictly-by-invitation wedding is being planned to be a one-of-its-kind wedding. It is being put together by popular events planner, Funmi Victor-Okigbo, with Joyce Jacob doing the bride’s make-up. Juju music legend King Sunny Ade will lead select A-list artistes that will be on the bandstand. Tiwa and her beau had announced their engagement on 5 February (Tiwa’s birthday) when Tunji made a formal proposal to her. The romantic moment was witnessed by a few celebrity friends, including Don Jazzy, boss of Tiwa’s label, Mavin Records; Dr Sid, Banky W and Tolu Oniru. Last week Saturday, the bride-to-be’s friends had hosted her to a bachelorette party at a highbrow lounge in Victoria Island, Lagos. “Tunji is an exceptional man. We’ve worked together and we trust each other. So, I am not scared that anything negative will come up between us,” Tiwa told said in an earlier interview about her man. Their white wedding has been slated to hold early next year in one of the European countries. |

Michel Platini will push for the World Cup finals to be expanded from 32 to 40 teams and is confident Fifa will back what would be the most significant change to the tournament in two decades. Fifa president Sepp Blatter last week called for more African and Asian representation at football’s biggest event, something that was widely regarded as a call for the number of European teams to be cut. But Uefa counterpart Platini has turned the argument on its head by revealing he wants to add eight countries to the mix, two from Africa, two from Asia, two from North and Central America, one from Oceania and one from Europe. The Frenchman claimed his proposal, which would see the group stages expanded from eight groups of four to eight groups of five from the 2018 event in Russia, would only extend the current 31-day tournament by three days and would be “good for everybody”. Platini told The Times: “I totally agree with Mr Blatter that we need more African and Asian [countries]. But instead of taking away some European, we have to go to 40 teams. We can add two African, two Asiatic, two American, one Oceania and one from Europe.” www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup/10408432/Uefa-president-Michel-Platini-wants-40-teams-in-the-World-Cup-to-make-room-for-African-and-Asian-teams.html |
Do not drink coke and have mentos, the mixture will cause a chemical reaction and form cyanide causing your stomach to explode. Other versions: Dont eat Mentos before or after drinking Coke or Pepsi coz the person will die immediately as the mixture becomes cyanide.. Please fwd to whom u care A mixture of Mentos and Coca cola killed two Brazilian children. Hoax or Fact: Mixture of hoax and facts. Analysis: There have been many messages and videos like these warning not to eat Mentos before or after drinking Coke or Pepsi, especially with Diet Coke, claiming that the mixture will generate a chemical reaction forming Cyanide, which will ultimately explode your stomach. Some messages also claim that two Brazilian children died because of this adverse reaction of Mentos with Coca Cola. However, the facts are completely different. It is a fact that when you put a Mentos in a Coke/Pepsi or any other carbonated drink bottle, like shown in some videos, it causes the soft drinks to fizz heavily. And when there is any small opening in the bottle, the pressure built up because of this fizzing can indeed shoot up the drink into air, 'similar' to an explosion. This happens because the Mint (Menthol) flavor of Mentos produces rapid foam and the numerous small pores on the Mentos' surface induce the release of cardon dioxide form the soda drink, when it comes in contact with the drink. This sudden increase in surface tension of the liquid releases the fizzing carbon dioxide of carbonated drink like a rapid explosion. But the point to be noted here is, this is NOT a chemical reaction, it is simply a physical reaction. This Mentos eruption was observed to be more in case of Diet Coke, because of its brown color - the potassium benzoate, aspartame, and CO2 gas contained in the Diet Coke, which combine with the gelatin and gum arabic ingredients of the Mentos, contributing to form excess foam. Therefore, the message saying that eating Mentos before or after drinking Coke or Pepsi causes a chemical reaction inside your body, forms cyanide or results in fatal explosion is a certain hoax. Like mentioned in the message, there were no such deaths reported. There have been many real and fake videos showing this Mentos eruption with Diet Coke and other carbonated drinks. The video on right is a news report that shows how people made such explosions. However, it is also important NOT to try and experiment this Mentos eruption effect with a handful of Mentos after drinking coca cola or pepsi, like few people have done it in the past and certainly got hurt as a result of the intense reaction. If you are doing any kind of this adventure, the intense gas and foam developed inside can gush out through your mouth in a very uncomfortable way, and it might even risk your digestive system. You might want to watch this adverse reaction in the reference section, but here is a warning again NOT to try it. www.hoaxorfact.com/Health/dont-eat-mentos-before-or-after-drinking-coke-or-pepsi.html |
Confederate's $80,000 Black Flag is one seriously pricey bike, but it's far from the most expensive. Number ten on our list of the most expensive motorcycles in the world is the Black Flag's stablemate, the Confederate B120 Wraith. It may not boast the most killer performance (125 hp from an air- cooled twin), but the U.S.-built Wraith's assemblage of aircraft grade billet aluminum and carbon fiber make it a force to be reckoned with in area of eye- popping design.

bionicdude: i get pissed when u guyz say bring u-17 boys to d senior national team,we are not talking of u-20 or even d u-23 olympics squad.just imagine,do u think d quality of opposition they faced at u-17 is d same at d senior level?.Stop playing fifa and pes too much. You have to realise dat dose u-17 boys won't even be able to beat lesotho at senior level.what we should be talking about is how to graduate them to d u-20 den later d eagles.Dose boys are d future of naija football not the present when their time comes they will take over for now they should be developed coz they have not arrived the quality of top tier footballnobody said all the players from u17 should be promoted. but atleast one. forget about u17, we all know that they are all between ages of 20. so if we include iheanacho in the senoir team, it will boost the team's morale. imagin his passes are better than that of ideye and oduamadi. dont fotget dat rooney was 17 when he played for the senoir team. dont use age to judge the players, those boys are stars and they can beat losotho senoir team well. u can imagine the shot from iheanacho, he will be a threat to goalkeepers. he can be used as a substitute, no problem. but i tink he should join the senoir team |

Uruguay will host Jordan in the second leg of the World Cup qualifiers on Wednesday. While a great deal has been made of Mexico's tremendous 5-1 win at home over New Zealand, few have taken the time to notice Uruguay's achievement against an arguably superior foe. In the opening leg, Uruguay went to Amman and stunned the home fans with a 5-0 win. Uruguay has been terrific at home in the qualifiers and has proven to be a stingy side in Montevideo. The team conceded nine goals in eight matches at home; in 16 qualifiers, Uruguay conceded a horrific 25 goals. Moreover, Uruguay has not lost at home in the World Cup qualifiers to this point; Uruguay has not conceded more than two goals in any match during the tournament. In order for New Zealand to qualify, it would have to put up a 5-0 scoreline to force extra time. Only with a 6-0 win would Jordan be able to move on to next summer's tournament. At this point, that result is unlikely at best. The only real mystery at this point is whether Luis Suarez will score the goal that would make him the scoring leader in all of the qualifiers. He is currently tied with likes of Deon McCaulay and Robin Van Persie for most goals in the tournament with 11; Van Persie achieved the feat in 10 matches, while McCaulay in eight games against such teams as Montserrat, Guatemala, Grenada and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Suarez has scored 11 in 16 matches thus far and failed to tally in the 5-0 win over jordan www.latinospost.com/articles/31730/20131120/uruguay-vs-jordan-world-cup-2014-playoffs-second-leg-live.htm |
