If these two people with the greatest level of mutual understanding that could ever come with the Hollywood fame go through with this divorce, then anything, I repeat, anything can happen to any marriage. Kai! I so admired them! Please let someone tell me I'm dreaming this and I'll wake up from this dream and it'll all be gone

Subway System – Cincinnati, Ohio

The Queen City tried to build a subway system, but ran out of funding in the 90’s. An eerie system of half-built tunnels and abandoned subway cars are now found throughout the city.

The subway project was scrapped without a single train ever having run. The debt incurred by the project wasn't fully paid until 1966, at a cost of $13 million--in addition to the lives of several workers. According to someone who e-mailed me, the subway is said to be haunted by the ghosts of the dead workmen. The only thing remotely resembling the paranormal which occurred while we were travelling through the subway happened when we were about a mile in; in the middle of a sentence we both heard a "shhh" sound, like someone shushing us. Creepy, but then again we heard lots of noises coming from traffic overhead.

I thought it was only in Naija we had abandoned projects....

But why did you feel the need to lie and say that you have been following NL in ghost mode only? You have created so many threads and have been very active here.
This makes me wonder if you are also lying about this particular topic. Lying is a huge turn-off for me. Lie better next time and not on a national forum and you'll get very reasonable turn out

Huh? I'm sure he's a Deeper Life member. If you're very familiar with Deeper Life and their teachings you'll understand what he's done and why he did it.

I remember in 2006 when I attended the Youth Retreat, commonly tagged, SAY (Success Academy for Youths), the pastor made us understand that a lady, a Corper to be precise, came and confessed [to him] about getting involved in malpractice during her WAEC and how she subsequently used that same result to gain admission into the University and eventually graduated: the pastor told her to start all over again and if possible write an apology letter to the examination body (WAEC), all in the name of RESTITUTION.
In fact, the pastor specifically made the lady understand that 'Heavenly Certificate' was more precious and desirable than any 'University Certificate' and that it was better to make heaven by complete repentance and thereafter, restitution, than acquiring education or worldly certificates that wouldn't be useful on judgement day.

I suspect this guy must have been taught/fed such doctrine/advice as well.

Well, I sincerely believe God is above all things.
I guess these people do not know that we are JUSTIFIED by faith (GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS through faith in the finished work of Christ which is the gospel,) and not by WORKS (OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS aka our good wotks), for...our righteousness is like a filthy rag before God and without faith it is impossible to please God.
If he is doing all these with the belief that Christ is his sole ticket to cross the gate of heaven, then that's perfect. But if he's doing this with the belief that his good works are the things that will buy him that ticket that he so desires then he's getting it all mixed up because his good works serve as the treasures he lays up in heaven and not his ticket to heaven. Paul said that if we say that salvation is by works and not by grace, then Christ died in vain. Another portion in the bible says....not by works of righteousness lest any man should BOAST but that it is the gift of God....

Hello Bibi,
Nice job keep it up. more ink to ur pen. i must confess your work is beautiful.
Pls I'm kinda lost in the area where Tomi went home to see her parents after a meal she went upstairs to her old room .how did Rich get to her room in her parents house n how did d other guy know her parents house. cos from your story her parents r yet to meet the man in her life.
Yeah bibijay123 you might have to look into this. I also thought there must have been a mix up somewhere or that I had skipper one episode. I kept loading the previous page to see if I missed a part of the story. How come she went into her apartment when she obviously traveled from the city to pay her parents a visit? Assuming she has a room to herself in her parents bungalow, how come immediately she left for her room, she was almost raped and they didn't hear the commotion? How come the stranger that rescued her knew to check on her in her parents house?
Literature / Re: Twine (A Drama Series) by Irishrena1(f): 6:53pm On Sep 03, 2016
Bibijay123 I must confess you're such a prolific writer. I've noticed some things about your stories.
1. They have real life substance like "THE DEVIL HAS THE MONEY and ALLEN AVENUE. In ALLEN AVENUE, you brought into view a rich culture, and you knew your onions.
2. Your stories are not fraught with grammatical misdemeanors that begs very much for a professional editor. I've seen some other good stories here on NL which could do with a little more maturity and editing.
You're simply outstanding.

However, I think you could also delve more into "not- so -substantia"l aspects of the characters' lives if you wish, as this might help the readers create more bond with them and increase the number of pages written. Its not necessary though, but decide for yourself, everyone with his [writing] style.

Thumbs up!

Eya I can only imagine what must have made you so bitter. But you should also know that if this is transferred aggression, then you have succeeded in adding to your problems because the curse will be multiplied in 7 folds into your life and will stay unhindered for seven generations while the person that made you so bitter goes on living happily. You better withdraw that evil you spewed or face the consequence.
