Mamaroon:Thanks @Mamaroon. Thanks for the corrections. The expression "Tasse de the" actually does exist in French. I have heard native speakers use it. - See link: http://www.linternaute.fr/expression/langue-francaise/4924/ce-n-est-pas-ma-tasse-de-the/ Concerning the expression "Par ailleurs", in this context it means "Furthermore" see the link:https://www.francaisfacile.com/exercices/exercice-francais-2/exercice-francais-76932.php where I picked some of my ideas. Merci quand meme. I really appreciate |
Hello Brethren, Please help me critique my attempt at TEF Expression Ecrite Section B. Merci d'avance
|
Mummychichi:Quebec accepts DELF, TEFAQ (Which is just speaking and listening), TEF and TCF |
Mamaroon:Felicitations quand meme ! Try sign up for Quebec Skilled Workers Program. Since you aced speaking and listening. |
Mamaroon:No word on your result yet? |
torres89:Check the following links (in French though), I believe they'll be of help: Section A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iz_r7a1FH04 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9MakqIARf0 Section B: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EaP1yByXE4 |
Mummychichi:15 days is rest assured! |
torres89:Self-imposed immersion: Changed my phone language to French, listened to only French News (TV & Radio), tried as much to avoid lengthy English Conversations and stick to Francophone Nigerians as chat buddies. Use of Past Questions found online One thing I left out in my latest attempt, which cost me dearly, was Practice of reading and writing Faits Divers as well as listening tests as found in 250 activities. Bonne chance as you prepare I had earlier tried to upload some documents I found useful, but I got a restriction. I've been banned by the SpamBot twice. |
DexterousOne:In the context of audio quality, it was clear. For the most part, it is a passable exam, just like IELTS. However, the toughness of the Listening questions, is a function of your own understanding of the language. You can get past listening questions here: https://teftextelongs.home.blog/ All the best Bro! |
Mummychichi:Yes O! I don't have a choice but to rewrite. As for the speaking, the trick is to appropriately use a French Idiomatic Expression. Even if you are an A2 level speaker, you'd get a C1. This was a tip I got at Alliance Française. |
J'ai un souci avec la grammaire francaise mais alors, ca va aller quand meme. Merci pour vos conseils, vous etes tres sympa. |
Mamaroon:I'm not an Efiko O! Abeg see my last result based on my attempt in July 2019 EO: 375 (C1/CLB9); EE: 216 (B1/CLB4); CO: 210 (B1/CLB5); CE: 210 (B2/CLB7). Ashame dey catch me. |
LogoDWhiz:Please refer to the attached images for Alliance Francaise price list in Lagos
|
LogoDWhiz:If learning French is your reason for joining a TEF WhatsApp Group, I'd suggest you try going to Alliance Francaise or Institut Francais depending on your locale to learn the language. If you find Alliance and Institut Francais too pricey, try going for a free online course for beginners supported by the French Government: https://www.fun-mooc.fr/courses/course-v1:dgef-interieur+134003+session01/about Another one for Intermediate level can be found on Coursera for Free: https://fr.coursera.org/learn/etudier-en-france To pass TEF, there's tonnes of nuggets on this particular thread. All the best. |
Mamaroon:Permit me to add, if you make use of a French idiomatic expression while speaking, you'd score a C1. Example: Mettre du piment dans ta vie which translates to Spice up your life or Ce n'est pas ta tasse de the which translates to Its not your cup of tea I did this in my latest attempt in July in PH and it fetched me a C1. |
Bellerin:To answer your question, Yes it did. Veuillez trouver ci-dessous autres questions long recu a PH: Reading Test: Pantheon baroque a Haiti, Troubles dans la Transmission, consommer avec moderation 《Biere verte》 Writing Test Section B: La vie de femmes n'a pas bien evolue depuis cent ans |
Mamaroon:B1 actually gives you Zero points. If you score a lower Band B2 being CLB6, you'd score 1 point. |
Mamaroon:Your result is most likely ready, just tweet at them, using this handle @FrAffaires asking for an update. That's what I did to get my result when they wasted my time. |
Puzzlematics:Par rapport, ils sont pareil sauf que, le TCF a trois devoirs dans l'epreuve l'Expression Orale, en revanche le TEF a deux. Bonne chance |
Bellerin:I scored 315/450 (B2) |
Bellerin:I wrote the said exam and the challenge is coming from the guys in France, who mark the scripts. I have written to the Examination Body in France as at last week, and got a response, saying that they are making best efforts to have the results ready. |
Morrewhunmie:Depending on where you are based, go to Alliance Française for all the information you need. However, if you are in Abuja, go to the Institut Française at Wuse 2. |
