GraceAndFavour: Please GodnGold, Mopolchi, Amkaro, IrradiatoR, SirBrightoc, grami, superflakky, calfranc, shakurpaul, I need your contributions.
Mods, please help me out. Consider this amkaro: There are so many things I'll want u to consider. 1. How high can u rise in British Council? 2. How often do u get promoted? 3. Is ur salary incremental as u grow higher or static? 4. Is the job safe? Check out thr hire and fire policy 5. What are the other allowances and benefits in BC?
My advice, look beyond pay.
What I know u can get as an AR in WAEC
1. A very senior staff 2. The pay is good enough for starters. U will be shocked wen u get d offer letter or ur first pay. I know they pay than most organizations entry level apart from Oil and Gas. 3. Juicy bonuses 4. Safe job, timely promotion, and steady pay 5. Exposure ( locally and internationally) ......and more.
British Council is sweeter from pay band 6, trust me! God's Guidance is the Best |

Christianity Etc › Re: 22 Christian Groups Kick, Say Sultan Can’t Declare Public Holiday by IrradiatoR: 8:01pm On Sep 06, 2016 |
They should provide an evidence on this, that is when the Sultan "declared an holiday for sallah"
The sultan declares the day for the sallah (Ramadhan and Eid el adha) based on sighting of the moon
This should not be deliberately mistaken for the Sultan declaring public holiday.
It is the duty of the Federal government to declare public holidays before or based on the Sultan's declaration of Eid day. This has always been the case.
NOTE: only very few people are conversant with the hijri months which are not fixed like the Gregorian months. The hijri months starts with sighting of the Moon's crescent and ends with same, since the sighting of a new crescent is not always easy to go by, weather, timing and locations are factors for sighting, then the need for the leader of Muslims in the country to declare it based on valid proofs of the Crescent being sighted. |

The school is no doubt an edifice. Rauf Aregbesola has put all his detractors to shame. He was ridiculed and derided for owing salaries when many other states also owing were not lambasted. Today, he wins and they lose.
I hate to see Ajimobi the good-for-nothing governor of Oyo state with Ambode, Aregbesola, Amosun and even Oshiomole. He is a stain to all those names. I wonder why Ajimobi chose to b e different |

Really? over N175M/ Month before Tax
Mikel's Mgr needs to improve his negotiation skills No graduate can earn that in Nigeria, Even though it is said that we do go to school to acquire knowledge, we can't run away from the fact that Majority of us, i.e 99.99%, actually did go to school that we may get a good paying job. With the quoted amount above, one will be forced to ask "what is the stress about going to school"? If we argue that we all can't play football, then what percentage of fresh graduates in Nigeria earn more than #200,000 monthly? |

Funlordjnr:

How does this event involve the apc again? Or Is ekiti state now being ruled by the apc?
Instead of you to complain about how that _stupid, ponmo slicing thief called fayose could not provide adequate security and safety detail to a group of officials trying to bring some form of infrastructural development to his pathetic state you are here crying about inconsequential things!
Was it apc that told him to hide over N2 billion of the states cash in his zenith bank account and told him not to pay salaries and pensions for months or to allow the danger in the dam to fester?
This your career in wailing has completely diminished your ability to apply deductive reasoning in your daily pursuits! Pele....... imagine this “We believe that they came to Ekiti based on some of the proposals we had written on the dam on how it can be put to use. “We believe that the World Bank has started work on the dam based on their findings,” she said. we believe, we believe. . . they had no idea of what was going on in their backyard. . . and I can't imagine supposedly exposed individuals not to put on life jackets. . it is a pity |

apockollyno: NFF is crazy, now they carefully ommitted the part where the hotel's reservations were paid for my Mikel obi, the NFF representative dey talk about the flight issue alone. Wat about the hotel accommodation for the team? They were transparent as well? very true. . I read through the other posts and I am astonished at how Nigerians are directing their anger on the Sports Minister without considering the weighty accusation. I don't see it as a joke, there is more to this than meets the eye. And for those accusing him of not speaking up before now, please let us be fair, if he had done so and we crashed out the way we did or earlier, they will still blame him for doing so I am not holding brief for him but just assessing the whole stuff from a different perspective |
