THIS DAY IN HISTORY: IDI AMIN OF UGANDA OVERTHROWN

His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Alhaji Dr. Idi Amin Dada, VC, DSO, MC, CBE ( Conqueror of the British Empire). Ye ye dey smell…. !

Today must be a day of celebration for most Ugandans as one of Africa’s foremost Dictator, Despot and mass Murderer, Idi Amin Dada was overthrown and sent into exil on this very day in 1979 when the good people of Uganda were liberated from his clutches by Tanzanian Army who captured the Ugandan capital Kampala in retaliation to a war that Idi Amin lunched against them with the help of Lybia’s Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

His full self-bestowed title ultimately was: “His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin Dada, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular”, in addition to his officially-stated claim of being the uncrowned King of Scotland. He never received the Distinguished Service Order (DSO) or the Military Cross (MC). He conferred a doctorate of law on himself from Makerere University as well as the Victorious Cross (VC), a medal made to emulate the British Victoria Cross.

Zainab Sheriff of Big Brother Africa 7 recently got married to her much talked about oyibo boy friend last year November in Sierra Leone. Reports reaching us at AreaGist has it that the wedding was actually a surprise to her , they say she was not expecting it, her oyibo boy friend suddenly stormed Freetown with his friends, asked for her hand in marriage and surprised her with a traditional wedding ! – how romantic. We are yet to confirm this version of the story but however it happened, it was a very happy day for her as she has stated on her instagram page.

Recall Zainab was ridding high in popularity until she was suddenly expelled from BB7 in 2012 following a fight she had with Ghana’s DKB. She has since tried her hands on singing and acting while continuing with her modelling carrier .

She however seem to have found a new nich in acting as she is fast becoming a successful actress and film maker in Sierra Leone having starred in several home videos most notable of which is last years Elephant In The Room in which she appeared along side Ramsey Nouah. See the pictures below.

i guess this is an order of recent visit and not most visit. even as you see the person that visits yours, yours will definitely appear first in theirs so have that in mind. from my observations it is an order of recent visit and not most visit. someone could have just read your post that appears in his/her page and it registers

Indeed ! This is merely the list of people you visited most our contacted most recently ( e.g. via chatting or messaging) . Their pictures are actually displayed in the same order on your home page, on the bottom Right column ( above the Search, Settings, & Turn off Chat Buttons).

This is can also be understood from the tag name : [InitialChatFriendsList] . Their pictures are displayed there as greyed out if you turned off chat

Indeed Fish rain occasionally when some kind of wind suck them out of the occean into the clouds. But OP, there is something really wrong with the set of pictures you posted, how come all the fish are only on the tarred road ? not even a single one fell on the Walk Way, or the grounds beside the road ? Rain is supposed to fall every where, even on the bushes na ?

The truth is that APC members where not allowed to vote in Rivers state. They were intimidated by thugs PDP hired. The security personnel and inec officials also connived. It was so bad that they caught inec officials and PDP agents thumb printing inside a police station. In addition, there are no result sheets in all the polling units. It was not a free and fair election. The same Wike most of u are celebrating today will be cursed one day by the same mouth.

Truly truely, I do not understand this "thumb printing" and "no elections" allegations I now see here and there. I thought the PVC Card reader is there to confirm the accredited voter turnout number as a minimum ? is it that this whole PVC thing is fraud in the first place ?

Depending on the product and the seller on amazon, delivery to Nigeria option has often been available . However, if you do not choose to do it via Courier, you may never receive it as their default reliance is on Nipost ( Nigerian Postal Service) to complete the delivery in Nigeria. I am still waiting to receive the Laptop Charger I bought since 2013 from amazon using my Nigerian address.
