PoliticsRe: Ameachi To Obanikoro by ishiamu(m): 7:35am On Apr 15, 2015
ricsman:
The governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has
said that he will never accept the electoral victory of
the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party,
PDP, in Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, stressing that
the election was a daylight robbery.
He was reacting to the call by the Minister of State
II for Foreign Affairs, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro,
that Amaechi and All Progressives Congress in
Rivers state should concede defeat and
congratulate the winner in the interest of the state.
Amaechi took to Twitter to reply Obanikoro.
“Because of the larger interest of Rivers state, I and
most Rivers people will not accept that daylight
robbery they called elections. The election was a
sham, a disgrace, an affront on democracy. Please
read the reports of EU and other INEC accredited
election observers before you open your mouth to
spew rubbish. If your values are so debased and
rotten that you saw nothing wrong with the elections
in Rivers State, mine is not. Never will
Keep lie, how many times have you seen amaechi use twitter

You are only permitted to loose hope on Obanikoro. How was eligibility case related to Ekiti gate? This Koro of a man is just looking for a way to wash himself clean.
We are still waiting for the $1billion suit he instituted against Sahara Reporters, that is the only one that can vindicate him and not this shameful mis-representation of court's ruling. huh

Didn't you see the charges apc filled to supreme Court? Ekitigate was among go and read please before you comment, all this agbero people congress be saying trash always as usual

konjakonja:
Dear Jega,

Please Sir, your attention is needed in Abia State.According to your Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kayode Idowu , “The law does not allow us (INEC) to cancel any result after it has been announced. Everyone knows this"

“It is only the election petition tribunals that can order that or even cancelled the elections. We would advice anyone who is aggrieved to go to the court. “

Based on the quote above,We the entire people of Abia State demand to know why gubernatorial election results for Obingwa,Osisioma,Ugwunagbo and Isialangwa North Local Government Areas that were announced by INEC at the Local Government level should be cancelled at INEC office Umuahia.

Our learned Professor Sir, we want to state it categorically clear, that we cannot be intimidated nor be bought over by anyone who thinks he has the money to bribe INEC to subvert the will of the people.

Mr Chairman Sir,please we will appreciate if you can come down to Abia State and educate us on how this electoral law works because our people had unianiomsousely voted for the candidate of our choice, hence,we see no reasons why someone should play tricks on us by declaring this election inconclusive.

Thank you in anticipation of your positive response.

Warm regards,
Bro Konjakonja
For/On behalf of Abia Unity Movement

PoliticsRe: Now That BUHARI Won, Let Us Welcome Back Chief James Ibori From Jail In Advance by ishiamu(m): 3:49pm On Apr 14, 2015
softapple:
I am a PDP supporter but ONE of the reasons why i am glad and happy that BUARI won the presidential election is that i know that chief james onanefe IBORI will be release from jail and granted state pardon by BUHARI. "you might think that is impossible but i have followed politics since when i was very young and i have grown to understand that GOD does not have a hand in politics and i now know how the game of politics is played, "so my fellow NIGERIANS,NIGER DELTANS let us celebrate in advance our lost son, though he did wrong by stealing but we must know that he is a good, brave and a kind man. "join me and let us welcome the ODIDIGBOIGBO ONE OF AFRICA CHIEF JAMES ONANAFE IBORI FROM JAIL. "and thanks to BUARI for indeed bringing change.

PoliticsNo Woman Governor For Nigeria Yet As Apc’s ‘mama Taraba’ Is Defeated by ishiamu(op): 5:27pm On Apr 13, 2015
Expectations by Nigerians that Saturday’s election would yield the first female governor in Nigeria’s history has been dashed. The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Taraba, Aisha Al-Hassan, who put up a strong showing in the race and who was thought to have won as collation continued into the second day, has now been defeated. At the end of collation of votes from all 16 local government areas in the state, Ms. Al-hasan polled 262, 381 votes to emerge runner-up in a keenly contested election. The candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Darius Ishaku, polled 326, 198 votes to emerge the state’s governor-elect.As results of the election from the local government areas trickled into the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital, Ms. Al-Hasan, fondly known as Mama Taraba by supporters, at some point overtook her main challenger, Mr. Ishaku. This triggered nationwide celebration by people who thought Ms. Al-hasan was on her way to becoming the first female governor. But the votes from Sardauna, the last local government being expected, hasjust arrived, dashing hopes of Nigeria getting her first female state executive.INEC’s final collation is on-going and the electoral body is expected to declare PDP’s Mr. Ishaku the winner of the election.More to come…
