This one small tin nah. Sebi you see your money collect back. Have you ever experienced a petrol attendant shortchanging you? There are petrol stations I've marked in Lagos. Don't buy fuel at Conoil ikeja along (formerly national) and the one beneath it, when coming out of the local airport to hit the ikeja along road. Don't buy fuel at the FO Station at oba akran avenue and mobil opposite Guinness. If you must buy fuel there, just alight from your vehicle and watch until the last drop enters your vehicle. If you allow anyone to distract you or block your view while the other attendant is dispensing fuel, o ti rogo niyę. Na half fuel go get.

They'd also tell you they're pouring injector cleaner into your tank for a token. Before you pay for the injector cleaner, make sure you collect it from them and be sure it's intact and never been opened otherwise, na empty can dem go insert inside your tank. You go think say something dey pour inside. The day I caught them, they didn't believe their eyes. The attendant couldn't say pim. They were just begging.
My goodness

What is ridiculing in what I said. Who doesn't know that Northern business men have integrity while their Southern counterparts don't?
The ethnicity of the hawkers was not mentioned, so where did you draw your conclusion from?

When will you people stop this bullshit?? This is why common South Africa has no respect for us because Nigerians like you comment like illiterate savages online and expose us to ridicule. What the actual fvck is the meaning of this rubbish you have posted?

A netizen shared his experience with Nigeria hawkers in Abuja. He was in a generous mood and decided to give back to the society. However, what his eyes saw during the whole exercise left him feeling weak and restless.

Two days ago I went out intending to give 5 random hawkers 20k each.

The plan was to first buy their products and then pay them plus extra 20k cash.

The first woman I met was at Utako Market.

Immediately I stopped by the ever busy market, the hawkers besieged my car with their products. The lucky woman I picked was selling African Pear in tiny baskets and each basket cost N1,000.

I asked her to give me 5 baskets. Each baskets had less than 10 pieces arranged inside.

Immediately she brought down her tray, I couldn’t see what she was doing from inside the car, so I turned on the car's 360-degree camera.

I watched as she emptied 3 baskets into the nylon bag instead of 5 baskets. She quickly tied the nylon and even raised her head to tell me she added two pieces of pears as Jara and then quickly opened the back door and dropped it there
.

Instead of saying anything, I gave her 3k. She told me with an unbelievable audacity that her money was remaining 2k.

I looked at this woman, amazed by how such an old woman could tell such a petty lie with a straight face.

I pointed at the dashboard screen of my car and when she looked, she saw her tray on the ground and her legs. It was at that moment she knew she had f**ked up and she quickly left.

I drove up a little bit and called one of the boys hawking plantains. I pointed at the biggest one in his hand and we agreed 10k for it. I turned On my camera again and asked him to put it in the trunk of the car. Before he got to the trunk of the car he quickly switched the plantains and put the smaller one in the car.

When he came to collect his money, I asked him why he switched the plantains and he swore in the name of the God of his religion that he did not.

I went to the trunk of the car, brought out the plantain, handed it back to him, and drove off with my money back to the house. I have had enough of almost everyone wanting to rip everyone off.

When I got home, I sent the equivalent of the 100k to my mother’s bank account and had restlessness thinking about the dogs-eat-dogs mindset that has become a tradition in our society.

In that case for all we know, that could be a dummy passport, and they are doing this to trend because I don't quite understand why they are rushing to social media to make videos. The woman's video too did not make sense because she kept on hammering on how she worked hard and stood by the man, and she is not going to allow it to go down the drain.

Very suspish angry

Ishilove , you nodey tire you this Igbo hating old maid ,who is also an Igbo speaking person. I have known you here for over 15 years of Igbo hating and now you suddenly want to sound like you are not worse than these sub humans! The hatred you people create and preach will be your portion.

In case you don't know the Zulu of South Africa and Zulu of Mozambique see each other as brethren but you an Igbo of Delta will rather die than extend a hand of brotherhood to your people across the Niger. You African feed on hate because you are all ignorant and miserable. Ishilove you are a perpetual Igbo hater! So shut da F up!

I see you are skipping your medication again. It seems the only way forward will be to have you committed for a minimum of one year, that way your psychosis medication intake will be strictly monitored.

Nigerians are funny sha. We cuss one another out on social media daily, but once outsiders ridicule us, we unite to drag their papa. It's like saying the only people who have the right to drag Nigeria is Nigerians.

Reminds me of a relative who disrespects his parents and is a terror to his siblings, but the day any outsider dare disrespects his family members, he breaks bottle and scatters everywhere. He was essentially saying the only person who can disrespect his folks is him. One day, he was in a middle of a street fight (as usual) when one of the thugs attacked him with a knife. His elder brother who hasn't spoken to him in years because the young man is such a nasty fellow, happened to be passing by when the attacker rushed Lil Cuz. Big Bro, without even blinking screamed "NO!!" and rushed the attacker with bone breaking blows, and was able to wrestle the gleaming, wickedly sharp knife away from him. After the fight, the two brothers went back to ignoring each other.

That's blood speaking with a voice that is impossible to ignore. It is a primal instinct. Even when we are outside Nigeria and you happen to come upon a Nigerian in trouble with natives, our first instinct will be to help them, before the more prudent among us suppresses the urge and looks away. The braver ones try to mediate, or flat out tear shirt and join in the fray in defence of their compatriots.

It is an atavistic reaction that cannot be easily explained, and totally unexpected until it kicks in.
