2nd one yes I’d like to believe it’s a side effect of my profession but I know some people in the same line of work who are very much “the sky is about to fall” type of people. So I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♀️

Sia IMO is the best in her genre. She’s very underrated and doesn’t seem to mind. I wonder what I’d feel like to have that kind of power and talent.

I’m tagging Ishilove
Thanks dear. I remember when Nairaland was fun and had lots of games like this one. It was always interesting. Unfortunately those days are gone.

1. What qualities do you admire in people?
Honesty and good manners. It just makes my blood boil when I have the displeasure of interacting with badly brought up, nasty people and disrespectful people. I usually ignore a lot of things but bad manners dey scatter my dada. angry

2. What is your super power?

Endurance. In short, the kinda shaitza I have had to endure in recent times have made me pat myself on the back and say "Ishi, na man you be." 😂 Blow upon blow, I crash to the floor, stay there a bit to catch my breath then slowly crawl back to my feet with my face all swollen and battered. Battered, but still alive and gritting my teeth so it looks like a grin and swinging back wildly. I will never stay down as long as I have life in me.

3. If you could change one thing about you, what would it be (character or physical trait)?

My height. I'm 5'6 and the shortest in my family 😁

4. If you could be someone else for one day, who would you like to be?

I'll like to be a man. I've always wondered how it feels to pee standing... I also find it fascinating that men can whip out their members almost anywhere and pee in public if they are really pressed, while us women have to look for a private place and go through the motions of removing all our 'armour' before we can let loose the 'golden jet'.

5. What advice would you give your children or niece/nephew for choosing a spouse?

If he/she can stand by you through thick and thin, sacrifice things that are precious to him/her for your sake, cries with you, prays with and for you, then he/she is The One. Don't let him/her go.

What a waste. All these people care about is the filthy money, and not about the harmful effects on the lives and families of the end users. What a waste!!

We don't drive in Nigeria we move the vehicles and attempt to hit anything on the road. We lack driving culture. Everyday I see it when driving. Many people just know how to move cars.

Lane changing anyhow, taking u turns anyhow , not knowing when yo give way. Impatience is another thing.

Drive outside this country and you'll really like it. Friends who come back home cannot drive, I'm the designated driver and dee as they hang on to thier seat belts and I consider myself sane

What if what manifested In the dream was a sign of victory to come?

U guys should calm down.
Many times physical battles happen in the dream. Many victories and signs of good things to come occur in a dream.

Even Joseph In the Bible,In one dream, he sees his eleven brothers as stars and his father and mother as the sun and moon, all bowing down to him....... What was the end result?

Didn't he become a ruler?

She has a shit ton of followers on social media. So not a celebrity but an influencer of sorts.
I’m not about to speak on who gave her a Range Rover cos ion know but I know that her social media following is big enough to garner her a sizable income every month. Million people following her on instagram is tens of thousands of dollars in income per month. Probably more.

People look down on social as a source of livelihood.
I guess she has made lemonade out of lemons

From your post, the police have ascertained that your dad is innocent and only trying to help.
If the police are not arresting him or taking him to court then you have to tell them to let him go and give that money you have already raised to the deceased man family.

If otherwise, please if it seems like it's intimidation, kindly look for a human rights lawyer they'd not tribalistic that will ensure your dad is allowed to go without any form of harassment.

Why should he give any money to the family?? He does not owe them a dime. Rather, they are showing the vilest form of ingratitude to a man who was not involved in the accident, but rather tried all his best to save the life of their family member

Me, I help from a distance. Last year, I was passing by in my company vehicle when I saw an accident victim lying bleeding on the road along Kudirat Abiola Way, I quietly took my phone and called an ambulance for eni eleni.

I kept on following up with them until they picked the man. In short, there was a point I almost screamed in frustration when I called, and the paramedics told me they were held up in traffic but thank God they were able to arrive in time to carry the victim away before he bled out on that road median. I don't have the heart to watch a person in that condition, but knowing Nigeria for the zoo it is, we need to apply wisdom in our humanity so that our good will not come back to haunt us.

Why will the Nigerian police arrest a good Samaritan who was only allowing the milk of human kindness to flow? Why? Apart from being unlawful, it is also very immoral.

I read stories like this, and I weep for this country and how terrible we are to one another.

My dad is a delivery person so he owns a bus, this is what he used to train me in school, i just finished uni ma, i defend my project this year May.

According to him he was driving in the early hours between 4:30 to 5am on Wednesday 4th of September 2024, Atan Iju road in Ogun state, then slowed down when he saw a man with a bike coming with speed towards him on one way, this man hit and slide into a big heap of sand which raised the bike so high that when he landed to the ground his bike broke and slide towards my dad’s front bumper, which caused a dent.

On getting out of his bus to check what has happened he saw that the man was a few metres away from him on the road bleeding from his head, and mouth, truck drivers and passerby advised him to leave the accident victim alone and go, but he decided to see how i can help him so he wouldn’t die. That was when he called us at home that someone had an accident in front of him that he wanted to rush him to the hospital, that was around 5-6am. We kept calling him to know how far it was going. I even wanted to tell my dad to leave him and continue in his journey but knowing him and his good heart he will not listen.

He tried all he could from 5am until 6am and he couldn’t get any help from both journey but drivers, bike men and passerbys to help him get the accident victim to the hospital, cos he was updating us. One of the truck drivers advised he go the nearest police station which was in the same iju to make a report which he did, a police man followed him to the location and then they were able to see a keke man after time has been lost that carried my dad and the policeman as well as the accident victim to a general hospital. On getting to the hospital the said man gave up the ghost. In turn my dad was arrested and detained and charged with Traffic Accident.

Please My dad is a licensed driver and has been driving before i was born, with over 20 years of experience and this is the first time i am experiencing such, the harassment from the police yesterday Friday was too much for me and my mum. This matter has made my mum sick.

He was taken to another station which is Iyana- Obasanjo police station, a different station from where he made the first report, and where the incident happened and was asked to write a statement which he did, narrating what happened. I asked what he wrote cos we couldn’t get to the station on time. But he told me the story which is what i have written in this mail.

My dad is an illiterate and cannot really spell well, I don’t know if what he said was exactly what the IPO wrote for him. I don’t know if i should ask for his statement so i read it too.

I was able to ask a DTO officer at the current police station if the incident has been investigated and he said Yes and confirmed even eye- witnesses around told them my dad didn’t cause the accident but was only helping. I don’t know why he is still held there for 3 days now.

My family was asked to contact the deceased family which we did on Friday 6th of September 2024. We were told by the family they had buried the man that same day, and everything has been explained to them. They are now requesting for 15million naira to be paid to them, saying the man has family to feed and he borrowed money from bank, he has people to feed, and he is a church G.O, i.e he is the breadwinner or they go to court. Go to court for someone that helped them. They said we are igbos’s so they will not take it easy, bringing tribalism into it.

They were even rude. My dad told them he is just a delivery man, he has children to feed and other responsibilities, he was only trying to help the man get to the hospital so he will survive. The head DTO asked us to settle and also told the family of the deceased to be considerate with what they are requesting. But those words fell on deaf ears. We have been able to ask around and borrow the sum of 300 thousand and i will make it 400k by adding my own little savings.

What does he do now? There were 3 women at the counter and i heard they are church members of the man, those women have been so aggressive towards us. What do i do now? I need any assistance at this point. We don’t even have money for lawyers. My dad has gone very lean and sick in there. The DTO said he is not even charged for anything, but they are just keeping him there.

https://punchng.com/breaking-chrisland-school-principal-others-arraigned-for-manslaughter/

the proprietress of the school is now officially in it

by the time lasg starts the investigation, she , the assigned childminder and the teacher in charge of the class the child was in, they will all be arraigned

if they covered up it will be worse as most schools today have cctv. i am sure this school did and they know exactly what happened

We need to ask if the school keeps dogs as pets, and if no, they need to produce the psychopathic toddler responsible for the attack and commit the child to psychiatric care.

My greatest worry is where on God's earth was the minder when the baby was attacked. How can this even happen in a daycare, for God's sake!? The government must investigate because this is just so blood curdling

Lagos state actually requires all school institutions to report signa of violence to children. So if a child is suddenly in the news for being abused, the school the child goes to can get into trouble because the implication is that it was not reported.

So at the minimum the school is supposed to have reported the incident to lasg.

The story makes even less sense when you consider that what the center would have done is quietly pay all the bills and drop a large amount on top to die the matter.

Unless the guy turned it to a blackmail matter.

We will hear the end of this
