Literature / Finding The Perfect Student Accommodation by islam24: 1:10pm On Aug 05, 2013
You will usually be in university halls for your first year at university, however by October or November, you may already be under pressure to make decisions about where you are going to live for the next academic year.
When to start looking for Student Housing?

Each city usually has a specific date when all letting agents release their lists of available student properties and there is a rush to secure the biggest and best accommodation. Your students union will probably be advising you not to get involved in this rush as most areas will still be advertising available student housing long into the following year. These opposing messages can be confusing so the best thing to do is ask students in the year above you when they secured their second year accommodation so you can assess if you really do need to panic.

Even if you don't get caught up in the rush, it is a good idea to start thinking about suitable people to live with as early as possible - the average is 4 people but you can live by yourself or in a larger group. You will need to commit to these people for a whole year so consider this very carefully. And don't forget - you can use Rightmove Students to do your research at any time of the year - you can browse by price, size of property and area.

Think about where to live: You will usually want to be in a traditional student area so you can take advantage of the social scene. The more established student areas will have facilities and amenities specifically for students and you are less likely to experience issues with the wider community. If you do have any problems with your student accommodation, you can ask the university housing office for advice and support so by living in an established area, you are more likely to benefit from their advice and experience rather than if you go off and live in an alternative town centre location.

You do need to be aware that areas densely populated by students are high crime areas due to the shiny new laptops and gadgets that are readily available thanks to carelessly left opened windows and doors. Residential areas are less of a crime hotspot but you may need to deal with young children playing in back gardens early in the mornings and a more family environment that may or may not welcome to http://sturents.com/student-accommodation/exeter . Wherever you decide, see if you can go back for a second viewing in the evening so you can see how the road is lit and if you would feel safe coming home at night by yourself.

Islam for Muslims / Re: Islam And Under Age Marriage! by islam24: 12:23pm On Jul 27, 2013
abdulkayus: The "Under-age" Marriage with consummation (I.e. carnal knowledge, sexual intercourse) is not permitted in Islam, a girl has to reach the age of puberty before marriage can be consummated (I.e. carnal knowledge, sexual intercourse) .

But Islam permits the betrothal, engagement and marriage of a girl even at birth and of-course this has always been the practice of many cultures in Africa and the world over.
However , the girl might grow up and refused to be married to the man she is betrothed, engaged or married to at birth - either due to religion or lack of love.
Her permission must be sought before the marriage could be consummated. There is no forced marriage in Islam.

The Prophet (Peace and blessings of God be upon him) did not approve of forced marriage.
He [the best of mankind] (saw) is the best example for us to follow. Allahu Allam....Allah knows best.

Assalamu Alaikkum,

We are currently working to “Save Islam – Save Beggar – Build Mosque In Bangladesh”. We are individual and working for 70 Blind beggars to develop their beggaring life! Like: Giving foods, clothing, water, medicine, Islamic education and trying to beggar’s house venture. So, we request you to kindly help us and send your Zakat/Fitrah and donations at this Ramadhan a Karim directly to blind Beggar here is Bangladesh!

We started this works last year by the name of Allah, we need your help. Beggars are found in the villages, in towns and cities. In a word, beggars are found begging every where in Bangladesh. Mainly they gather on Friday near the mosques in the towns, bus stand, railway stations, in front of markets, and in the traffic signals and people streets. Most of the beggars are unable bodied. Most of blind and some are lame. Some boys and girls are also found begging in the streets.

Those who are very poor, landless or helpless may. During the rainy season poor people of rural areas come door to door home for begging alms. They lead very miserable life. At the bus stand, market place and in the traffic signals old beggars and beggar children stretch their hands for taka (money). They causes are trouble!!!

While begging in the street some of them utter peculiar sound to draw the attention of the passers-by. Some of them carry testimonial of the local chairman or from any important person, or from the physicians to help them for the time being. Some beg for the treatment, some for the help of his daughter’s marriage.

Blind beggars are going to beg to door to door by the help of his wife. We are working for three hundred Blind beggars, they are also foods and landless. The rural beggars are mostly above sixty years old. Beggars can not engage in any income generating activities.

Islam commands us to be GRATEFUL to ALLAH (SWT) by using His favors in proper manners. We should share ALLAH's favors on us, with others. Allah can provide them (needy ones) better than what He has given to us, but He wants to test us: Is the love of Allah more in our hearts or the love of money?

We are working for Blind beggars, we request you to kindly help us and send your Zakat/Fitrah and donations at this Ramadhan a Karim directly to blind beggars here in Bangladesh.
