2. Her daughter is the kind that's very active on social media platforms like TikTok, IG and she has a lot of content online which includes her voice.
Car Talk / Re: Do You Still Drive Your Car With AC? by IslamIsIdiotic: 7:57pm On Jul 20, 2023
I saw this online and it is for motorists like you:

Question: Does a car's air conditioning unit affect its fuel economy?

Answer

Yes, a car's air conditioning unit can affect its fuel economy to some extent. The air conditioning system in a car requires energy to operate, and this energy comes from the engine. Here's how it can impact fuel efficiency:

1.Increased Load on Engine:
Running the air conditioning system puts an additional load on the engine, as it needs to power the compressor that cools and circulates the refrigerant. This extra load can lead to a decrease in fuel efficiency because the engine has to work harder to maintain the same level of performance.

2. Power Consumption:

The air conditioning system draws power from the car's electrical system, which is ultimately generated by the engine. The more energy the A/C system requires, the more fuel the engine needs to burn to produce that energy.

3. Aerodynamic Effects:

When the air conditioning is on, car windows are often closed to maintain the cooling effect. Closed windows can slightly affect the aerodynamics of the vehicle, causing a minor increase in air resistance, which may result in decreased fuel efficiency, particularly at higher speeds.

4. City vs. Highway Driving:

The impact of the A/C on fuel economy can be more noticeable in city driving or stop-and-go traffic, where the engine is frequently starting and stopping. In contrast, on the highway, the continuous speed and airflow may offset some of the energy used by the A/C.

5. **Hybrid and Electric Vehicles:** In hybrid and electric vehicles, using the air conditioning system can have a more significant impact on range and energy consumption compared to conventional internal combustion engine vehicles, as it directly draws power from the battery in these cases.

To mitigate the impact on fuel economy while using the A/C, drivers can take the following measures:

- Use the A/C sparingly, especially when driving at lower speeds or in cooler weather.
- Park in the shade whenever possible to reduce the initial cooling load on the interior.
- Consider using the vehicle's ventilation system or opening windows while driving at lower speeds instead of relying solely on the A/C.
- Service and maintain the A/C system to ensure it operates efficiently and doesn't place unnecessary strain on the engine.

In summary, while using the air conditioning in a car can lead to reduced fuel economy, the actual impact will vary depending on driving conditions, vehicle type, and individual driving habits.

lifezone247:
Yes, yes and yes. AC has nothing to do with fuel consumptions. Itā€™s uses gas when the engine is running. Make una stop that mentality abeg.

Politics / David Hundeyin Humiliates Zimbabwe Minister Of Information by IslamIsIdiotic: 1:24pm On Jul 20, 2023

@DavidHundeyin
I wasn't aware that it is standard operating procedure in Zimbabwe for the country's minister of information to tweet the asylum status of a foreigner, but since you've resorted to telling half truths, perhaps you should mention to your audience that I came into Zimbabwe with this valid Ghanaian refugee passport, which I have used to travel extensively over the world for 2 years.

I'm sure you saw the valid UK Visa inside it. I'm also sure that you saw the numerous entry and exit stamps inside it belonging to multiple jurisdictions inside and outside Africa. Only in Zimbabwe have I EVER had an issue travelling with this document.

You might also want to share with your audience that I put a call through to the Zimbabwean embassy in Accra before I travelled to confirm that I did not need a visa, and that I was expressly advised that as long as the airline was happy to recognise the travel document, I would have no problem coming into Zimbabwe visa-free.

I know this despicable Twitter stunt of yours does not represent the behaviour of the generality of Zimbabweans, many of whom I have had as dear friends since university 15 years ago, so I will not hold it against Zimbabwe. From experience, I know that it is possible for a great country to be held captive by a criminal political elite who lack legitimacy.

Whatever you thought you achieved by doing this, I assure you that you should have completed the job yesterday because you will not like what happens next.

What has she ever achieved in her own right that wasn't attached to her role as a first lady?

Politics / Farmers On The Run In Borno As Boko Haram Attacks Intensify by IslamIsIdiotic: 7:47am On Jul 19, 2023
In just over two weeks, Borno State has experienced four devastating attacks by Boko Haram insurgents that killed at least 36 lives in the state.

These attacks, mostly targeted at farmers in their fields, threaten a reversal of the relative peace and food security that the state gradually attained over the years.

Daily Trust reports indicate how the attacks that happened between June 14 and June 30 also left many farmers injured and scared many farmers off their fields this season.

These attacks, which are likely to be higher than reported, mostly took place in southern Bornoā€“the agricultural hub of the stateā€“and are threatening food security in Borno, the North East, and the country at large.

The most recent attack was on June 26 when suspected Boko Haram militants ambushed eight farmers on their way to farm and slaughtered seven farmers in Damboa Local Government Area of the state.

Locals and security sources said the incident happened around 11:30am in the Bulajimbam area of the council.

ā€œIt is sad; seven people lost their lives and you see it is difficult for us to tell these people not to go to farm. We are working hard to ensure they are protected,ā€ a security source who preferred anonymity told Daily Trust.

In another attack, on June 14, 15 people working on their farmlands were also slaughtered and some beheaded by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in Damboa and Jere local government areas.

Bukar Ali Musty, a top member of the vigilante group, said the farmers were working on their farmlands near Molai, on the outskirts of Maiduguri, when insurgents attacked and beheaded them.

ā€œAt least 15 dead bodies were evacuated after the attack this morning.

ā€œSeven farmers were beheaded while working on their farms and the attackers also slit the throats of eight other harmless civilians in their homes,ā€ the vigilante source said.

On June 22, eight woodmongers were also killed in a fresh Boko Haram attack in Mafa, the local government council of Borno State governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum.

This attack, which came barely a week after that of the slain farmers, happened in Bulamari village.

According to a Civilian JTF source, the insurgents killed eight out of the nine young loggers who were under the age of 20 and deliberately spared the life of one.

ā€œThey only allowed one Babakura, a 15-year-old boy, to come and break the story in the town.

ā€œThey tied their hands behind their backs and shot them in the heads. We went there together with the Civiliansā€™ Joint Task Force to bring the corpses for burial; only one person was married among them, and all of them were young men,ā€ he said.

On June 30, six other people, including a woman, were killed by the suspected Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) in Damboa Local Government Area of the state.

According to sources, the attackers stormed the town around 8:30pm and fired mortar bombs into Damboa town, the local government headquarters, and 21 innocent people were injured.

Sources from the security claimed that after failing to gain access into the town, the attackers hauled a mortar bomb that killed six people and injured 21 in Wulari area, near the district headā€™s palace.

ā€œYes, there was an attack by ISWAP last night in Damboa town. We lost six people including women and more than 20 people were taken to the hospital, but the situation is calm now,ā€ a security source said.

A top member of Civilian JTF told Daily Trust that those killed included housewives and aged women.

However, the most disturbing aspect of the killings is their change of modus operandi; the insurgents now trail the farmers and slaughter them quietly in their isolated farmlands.

Also, in most of these areas attacked by the insurgents, the locals complained of minimal or no security presence at the time of the attacks.

ISWAB accuses locals of spying, bans farming

In a new development, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) was said to have imposed a ban on farming, fishing, and herding activities in the remote northeastern region of Marte.

A local source told Daily Trust that the move was to halt agricultural activities in areas under the control of the ISWAP to punish the farming communities over alleged spying for the military that carried out aerial bombardment in their location.

It was gathered that in the coordinated airstrikes, many ISWAP commanders were killed, and the group was forced to abandon their bases and seek refuge in locations perceived as safer for them.

It was gathered that the ISWAP Leadership vowed to kill farmers or fishermen found within the general areas of Katikime, Bulungahe, Kutukungunla, Chikun Gudu, Tumbumma, Guma Kura, Guma Gana and New Marte, after accusing them of spying on their activities to the Nigerian military.

Zulum releases 80 vehicles to transport farmers to Damboa

Meanwhile, the Borno State governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, has released 50 buses and 30 pick-up vans to convey farmers to their farms for free in Damboa LGA and other parts of the state.

ā€œTo reduce the high cost of living caused by the withdrawal of fuel subsidy, Gov Babagana Umara Zulum released 80 buses and pick-up vans for free transportation of farmers.

ā€œThe 80 means of transport will comprise 50 luxurious buses to be allocated from the fleet of the Borno Express Corporation, while the 30 pick-up vans will be hired by the state government,ā€ he said.

Zulum urged the military to consider the farmersā€™ population to avoid subjecting them to the rigour of checks that would consume the farming period.

ā€œYou can see thousands of farmers are here; with their number over 10,000. We acknowledge the tremendous support of the Nigeria Army, the police and paramilitary but we must review the hardship of these local people.

ā€œIā€™m here not to undermine the effort of the Nigerian army, but to make things easy for the generality of the people of Borno State. For this, the Nigerian Army should devise methods of surveillance to reduce the hardships.

ā€œRainy season has a short span, a maximum of three months; screening each and sundry would take at least four hours, and this is never possible.

ā€œIā€™m urging the Nigerian Army to look into the possibility of allowing the farmers to go into their farmlands to farm on time, because food insecurity is the worst form of insecurity,ā€ he said.

Farmers fear possible attacks

With these attacks that continue to escalate, farmers in Damboa, especially the western part, have continued to express uncertainties over the security situation in the area.

One of the farmers, Alhaji Sheriff Damboa, said despite huge intervention by the state government, many farmers were forced to abandon their farms.

ā€œLots of farmers have abandoned their farmlands for fear of being killed, especially after the most recent killings. Days after Eid-el-adha, 6 farmers were slaughtered. We recovered their corpses and buried them.

ā€œSo, if enough security is not provided, farmers wouldnā€™t be able to carry out their farm activities without fear, especially in this season that we are experiencing a shortage of rainfall. The worst part is that after all the hardships, most farmers have to pay or even get killed by the insurgents before they harvest,ā€ he said.

Another farmer, Hassan Mohammed, said farmers could only cultivate within five kilometres from Damboa town.

ā€œNobody can cultivate beyond 5km from Damboa town because the security operatives concentrate in the town and its fringes. So, those with the illusion that more land would be opened up for cultivation are not telling you the truth,ā€ he added.

You're simply not getting it. All the evidence being produced at the election material on Tinubu's lack of eligibility was issued by the United States government.

Everything we know about him laundering money for drug cartels and the criminal forfeiture was released by this same United States government.

The new additional evidence they're holding on to must be of a very damaging and incriminating nature otherwise they would have released it.

Crime / Suspect: I Did Not Steal The Car, I Only Drove It From Abuja To Delta by IslamIsIdiotic: 5:08pm On Jul 18, 2023
A 25-year-old arrested car thief suspect, Meshach Isinugo a.k.a Big Shark, has denied the allegation of stealing a Mercedes Benz from a car dealer, saying that he only drove the car from Abuja to Delta State.

PUNCH Metro reported, a car dealer, Mohammed Manga reported that a customer, Henry, absconded with one of his cars, a Mercedes Benz GLB 250 vehicle worth over N55m in the Abuja area of the Federal Capital Territory during a test drive.

Big Shark said he decided to quickly use the car when the dealer, who sat in the passenger seat during test driving, didnā€™t return quickly after stepping out for cash withdrawal to buy fuel in a filling station, Nigerian Tribune reported on Tuesday.

The state Commissioner of Police, Wale Abass, at a press briefing, said that before the suspectā€™s arrest, the command received a complaint from a car dealer in Abuja, simply identified as Rilwan, on July 3 that a vehicle, a Mercedes Benz saloon car 2021 model, was stolen from his car stand by Big Shark who disguised as an intending buyer. The dealer told the police that the suspect absconded with the said vehicle during a test drive on June 30.

ā€œArmed with available intelligence, operatives of the CP Decoy Squad stormed Ughelli town at about 0115hours (1:15 am) of 3/7/2023 and recovered the said Mercedes Benz abandoned in a bush along Oteri Road by Doctors Quarters Ughelli North Local Government Area,ā€ the CP said.

The suspect, who gave a bit of his background said that Big Shark was a childhood nickname that he grew up with.

Big Shark said, ā€œIā€™m from Ughelli in Delta State, but I live in Abuja. Iā€™m into foreign exchange and bureau de change business. I have been doing this since when I was seven. I started along that line when I was in secondary school. My business is at Istanbul Airport, Turkey, so I used to shuttle between there and Nigeria. I started it there in 2021. I returned from Istanbul in May after the general elections.

ā€œI was arrested on July 6 for car theft after I was tracked by the police. Actually, I moved the car, from Abuja to Delta State.

ā€œI didnā€™t steal the car, but it was not mine. What happened was that I got the ownerā€™s contact from an online platform (name withheld). He posted the carā€™s picture on the platform, putting it up for sale. When I called him to indicate an interest, he told me to come for the car inspection. He was also Abuja-based and the location he invited me to was at Garki.

ā€œI saw the car, and the intending seller put the price at N58 million. I offered to pay N30 million and he said I should test-drive it so that I would know the value of what I was pricing. He gave me the car key and sat on the passenger seat.

ā€œWhen we got to a filling station, he asked me to pull over as he needed to buy fuel for the car. He told me to wait so that he would go and get some cash to buy the fuel. I waited for his return for three hours but he was nowhere to be found, and I was already causing a queue at the filling station. I called his line several times but it was switched off. It was already dusk so I drove to my residence at almost 8 pm. My phone had gone flat then, so I charged it when I got home and called him again. His line was switched off.

The following day, I drove down to Delta for a business. That same day, I saw my picture that he posted on the internet, calling me a car thief. His call also came in and he told me he had informed the police and they were tracking the car. This made me to be mad at him. It was crazy. I switched off my line known to him and started using my other line.

"My uncle saw me with the car and he asked me about it. I told him how the car came by and he got mad and slapped me. He said he would not allow me to drive the car but would report it at a police station. I ran from him because he assaulted me. I was eventually arrested in Benin, Edo State. I didnā€™t steal the car, I only drove it from Abuja to Delta. If I were the car dealer, I would just look for a way to get the car back. That would work.ā€

According to the police, the suspect has been transferred to Abuja where the act was perpetrated.

2026 is a year before the next General elections, so the timing of this announcement is very significant.

Assuming that the Iragbiji Pablo EscoBAT is still alive at that time, this news, coupled with the fact that IPMAN has projected that petroleum pump prices will be around 3,000 per liter of PMS if we continue at the present rate, will certainly shake up his chances of reelection.

Meanwhile the Nigerian Court system will be made into a laughing stock again just like it happened with James Ibori.
