charlesemeka85: Nigeria Football Federation target Eberechi Eze has been included in Whoscored.com and Sky Sports Championship Best Eleven for the month of October.
Last month, the Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder was involved in five goals (3 goals, 2 assists) in five appearances in the English second-tier, helping the London club pick up seven points from a possible fifteen.
With a rating of 7.95, Eze was named Championship Player of the Month ahead of Chelsea loanee Izzy Brown (7.64) and Preston's Tom Barkhuizen (7.58).
Explaining the choice of Eze, Ben McAleer wrote : ''Eze is our Championship player of the month. An assist in QPRs 3-1 defeat to Brentford on Monday night meant the winger had a direct hand in a goal in all but one of QPR's five league outings in October as he scored three and assisted two.
''No player won more WhoScored.com Man of the Match awards than Eze (two), who completed more dribbles (18) than any other Championship player.''
Manchester City loanee Tosin Adarabioyo has been selected in the Championship Team of the Week after opening his goalscoring account for Blackburn Rovers as they registered a 2-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday on November 2.
The tall central defender won a game-high nine aerial duels, made two tackles, one interception and four clearances vs Sheffield Wednesday. Commendable. |

TheSuperNerd: There are a few reports emanating from Monaco according to inside sources that Onyekuru Henry (and Pietro Pellegri) are not in the plans of Coach Learnardo Jardim. It says both could be sold in the winter transfer window (i.e. in January).
Well, I guess Monaco didn't work out for Henry afterall. How do you sign a player in August on a 5 year deal and sell him in January without using him? |

Joebie: there are two reports. You choose what you want to believe.. but my take is this if we are interested in a player who has honored our call once, u don't go about making indirect or direct approaches or asking for permission. you hand him another invite. This time an official one. shekina and the matter will settle whether he is for us or not.. if he no show, he no make statement and he is not injured then the huge writing is on the wall...
@ jihday and all in that camp That story is not an official one. No allow people stress you Joebie. |

U think Pinnick didn't have a hand in the whole thing? Isn't he under investigation by the ICPC too? Perhaps u are trying to suggest that Pinnick has been to reduced to an errand boy in the same organization he heads... No level. Tomorrow go better. |

Danielnino00: The argument I had with earthquake at that time wasn't about the team selection or Bichi..it was about Pinnick performance as NFF chairman.. Go check that post again..
the same earthquake yesterday was arguing with thegoodjoe that Manu and not the NFF was responsible for the poor scouting of players for the u-17 ..
u definitely aren't in tune with the arguments here. just rushed down to pour your frustration . I have no beef with u, so there's no need to resort to gutter language He pointed out Dikko as a chief instigator and you were yarning rubbish. Next time if you don't have the balls to call things as they are don't tag the vocal ones tribalists, Ostrich. Rubbish. |

[s] Danielnino00: later some people will come and tell us that the NFF are working and the coaches are the problem.. people accusing Manu of tribalism don't even know what really went wrong with the team selection... The NFF are always interfering with the coaches work and thus frustrating them.look at what they did to Dennerby and the consequence..
The fact that Manu didn't even give the Bichi boy a place on the bench shows that he doesn't need him... Truly, the man has an eye for talent... [/s] But when Earthquake mentioned earlier that Northern Vultures imposed the boy on the team you sat on your dumb high horse to infer he was a tribalist. It has come out to be true that it was infact some Northern Vultures who pulled it off and now you're hear talking rubbish. Gerrarahere mehn, fucking ostrich! safarigirl: There is no sense in this comment.
If it is by population, Nigeria would be in the top 10 football talents in the world. There are nations with a population that is one-quarter of Nigeria producing better talents. Senegal that has the most expensive African team, are they higher in population or even land mass than Nigeria?
Dense comment. Let us try to apply wisdom when we post, not just post for the sake of savagery and likes. His comments have been top notch in this thread but that particular comment is a very stupid one. |

Clementoke: Super Eagles Too Big To Be Treated As Plan B – Rohr Shut The Door On Tomori
The chances of Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori playing for Nigeria still remains valid after his bench role for the Three Lions of England in the last round of international games where they played against Czech Republic and Bulgaria respectively.
Tomori was an unused substitute in both games that would have tied him to the English team permanently as both games were competitive fixture. Playing in any of them would have ended his chances of switching allegiance to Nigeria.
His bench role means he is still available for selection for the senior national team of Nigeria if he is called up although the process will take at least a year to be approved by FIFA.
Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has however ruled out the chances of that happening insisting that his team have moved on from Tomori since he made public his decision to play for England.
” He pick where he is comfortable and we wish him all the best with England. No point thinking we can have him back as it will be dangerous if we allow players view our team as second option when all fails, I think we are bigger than that. I hope he succeeds with England “, Rohr said.
