IDENNAA: This has degenerated into market square bickering. Aro were tradesmen who were partners in trading in human stock with pockets tribes in the coastal areas. Thats all.
I have read all these nonsense you write here out of bitterness and frustration but the truth is that Ijaw have absolutely nothing against Igbo. You can only blow up your oil wells, full stop! If the Igbo ever decide to fight you , it would be disastrous. Time has changed and Igbo of today are too armed to mess with. The Igbo diaspora can singlehandedly fund a war. What do you have other than oil wells which would be blown up and that's the end for you.... You talk like a compound ffool.
In my over 10yrs in the USA I have only met 2 Ijaw. One is a mechanic , another is a grocery store worker who is a single mother. You will hardly see an Ijaw in top Universities.
Only Ikwerre can silence you...you think some ignorant creek criminals will save you....you are so blind. Very wicked fellow.

ijawcitizen: Please stop propagating this fraudulent map, biafra does not protrude that southwards into Niger Delta. Get a proper map and study it, Akwa Akpa (Arochukwu) is not biafra, Ndoki both in Rivers and Abia is not biafra, ogoni is not biafra, port Harcourt is not biafra. You're obviously a child. That Arochukwu you're claiming are capable of wiping out the Ijaw race from existence. You don't even know the people you're claiming up and down. |

I'm from Nnewi in Anambra but from observation as one born and bred in Anambra I must say that Ebonyi people control the street of Anambra in one way or the other, most of those Agberos used to collect revenues are mostly those guys with their Anambra counterpart I observe many of those mechanic boys are from Ebonyi. |

Anyways, it shows the state is doing fine. |

OfoIgbo: They could also be Biafra, just the same way Hawaii is US. In fact, it is even a state of the US.
So both Opobo and Bonny island can be either Biafran territories/dependencies or Biafra Bonny and Opobo are different in that they are already part of an existing country unlike Hawaii, Gibraltar etc. At split of Nigeria they would at best become territories/dependencies/colonies of Biafra. But if they choose the Niger Delta they would not be dependencies, they would be firmly part of the failed Niger Delta republic. |

OfoIgbo: Gibraltar is a part of the United Kingdom, but it is attached to Spain on the Mediterranean. Meanwhile Spain is not a UK territory.
Falkland Islands is a part of the UK, even though it is closer to Argentina.
So Opobo doesn't need to be attached to the main body of Biafra before it can be seen as a Biafran territory. The same goes for Bonny Island So it would be Biafran territory, but not Biafra. Perhaps that should be good enough. |

OfoIgbo: You have spoken/written well. Do not mind the distractions you are getting from chronic, psychological and pathological minorities who defy reason We Igbos are used to such behaviours. The actions of Wike in Obigbo comes to mind.
Just like you, to me I didn't see the reason for questioning Bayelsa development rate, but that's by the way.
It is because of such chronic minorities that I am of the opinion that Igbos should keep hold of any of the Igbo territories that are by the ocean.
Ndoki-Igbo people have some prime real estate in this regard, which includes Obuaku in Abia and Ubani (Bonny island) in Rivers state. To avoid these chronic minority mentality and their wahala, it will make sense for Igbos to keep hold of these, and ensure they are not dependent on any minorities for their sea access. Opobo will depend on whether the Jaja family wishes to join Biafra or another country PH will depend on whether Ikwerres will prefer Biafra or another country You do know Opobo can't join Biafra without Ogoni joining, right? Bonny is cut off by non Igbo territories too. |

PHijo: Ikwerre don't own Port Harcourt. They don't feature anywhere in the history of Port Harcourt. Their claim to Port Harcourt was made possible by Ijaw people. The treaty on Port Harcourt with Britain was between Ijaw people and Britain. Ijaw people also recieved more compensation than the Ikwerre.
The largest Ijaw clan is in Rivers. The thing with you Igbo fools is that you talk down Ijaw population thinking it will benefit you, when it matters it is the North or Yoruba your greed, shortsighted attitude and foolishness will benefit. BKayy: You've said it all. Infact what is spoken in Enu Onitsha is not actually Onitsha dialect. It a dialect formed out of cohabitation of various Igbo groups over the years. It is very different from the original Onitsha dialect and the indigenes will tell you so. It is even modernizing every year. Like recently they included de je, something that is peculiar to Nsukka dialect. In summary anybody that can understand the new dialect they speak in Igbo cities like Onitsha or the entire Anambra State because there is a way we are interwoven unlike others can understand any kind of dialect in Igboland. The best is to leave it like that. Don't tag a name to it so as not to bring resistance and allow nature take over Exactly. |

Maybe you suffer from inferiority complex. Nothing brings inferiority complex into the question. Your statement in the last paragraph is utopia. The local speech forms will hold sway for decades to come. |

IDENNAA: First of all , I am from Idenmili north and a member of many Anambra groups, therefore I would know the sentiments of my people and the way Anambra dialects have transformed to the common form we use across the state.
Additionally, what you know as Onicha tone spoken in Onicha metropolis, Idenmili , and Awka are a naturally developed form of speech. It wasn't manufactured or forced through Igbo unity blackmail.
The union Igbo/Igbo Onicha which was previously in used in the 1930s and 1940s were a combination of Onicha axis dialects and even Enuani. That were Idenmili, Dunukofia, Anaocha, Onicha, Ogbaru , Nnewi, Njikoka, Ekwusigo and the rest of Anambra lects fall into. There's a post where someone said what is spoken across various Anambra communities are similar yet distinct. This is the truth. The "general" Igbo spoken across is not Onicha dialect, though it may be close. No matter how much one speaks this "general" Igbo, one with a keen ear can still pinpoint where you're from. Again, any move to supposedly impose one particular dialect, no matter how sweet it is on the tongue will be resisted. The indigenous dialects across the state, from Onicha to Awka to Nnewi and interior areas remain sacrosanct to the people, traditionally and otherwise. |

BKayy: Nnewi is not in Anambra North but South. Nri-Awka doesn't have the same dialect with Onitsha. Awka to some extent share the same words with Ezeagu and other Enugu communities. Just leave this the way it is. All Anambra communities even speak alike but bringing the name of one community to oversee others will make everybody change his mind. I know my people. Especially Nnewi can never bow to Onitsha. Even Oba and Obosi that is included in Onitsha metropolis have issues with it The 2nd paragraph. ✔ But I'm enjoying the utopian dreams they're sharing with each other. |

IDENNAA: If you are familiar with Anambra communities you wouldn't be asking these questions.
Nnewi will follow us , so is Nri-Awka who are Ndi Agbenu like us and speaks similar dialects. The whole Anambra north ,central and large chunk of the South speaks Onicha/Idemmili speak Onicha/Idemmili related dialects.
There is nothing like bowing to anybody here.

BKayy: Then what will happen to Nnewi dialect, Nri-Awka dialect and dialect of those in Anambra South that is similar to Orlu dialect. You know no community plays second fiddle to the other in Anambra. Nnewi and Nri-Awka can never ever bow to Onitsha dialect I'm waiting for his response. |
