At least with EEC, they have geometric for dependable 24 hour power supply.

Certainly, and Barth Nnaji is one of the share holders in EEC company so he will work out the logistics for power.

Though it's virtually thrice as costly, if we're looking at truly meeting up with the modern times as is obtainable in America etc then this new cities should be designed with a consideration to Undergrounding. Most modern cities don't have power lines hanging overhead. It's outdated.


Modified : I just read that update from Anambralstson. You can check it too. It has some much needed information.

It states that there'll be underground cables. But it didn't say if it's power cables or radio lines.

I am yet to find and read any detailed plan for Awka Millennium city when it comes to their power supply.

Okay. That said we can assume with a degree of certainty Geometric will invest in Overhead powerlines, true?

Dubai is a whole country's effort at modernization. Enyimba industrial city is a Public-Private Partnership.

I will keep dropping suggestions as they spring up in my mind.

How capable are we and how feasible is Undergrounding for our power distribution in such modern cities?

I see our millennium city will have road and storm water drainages, which likely will be open drainage.

This has long become archaic and is disgusting to sight. If there's no way to start using an underground sewerage system it should be at least be a well sealed drainage system such that you don't see nonsense and it doesn't ooze.
