jking001: Why was the man crying after loosing election?that's very deceitful, was he trying to say he won the election and was robbed ?that man is evil he cried and to let he's uneducated followers kill innocent youth coppers, and for his followers to disrespect the office of the president of the federal republic of nigeria, you may want to ask why?because the honourable thing to do after loosing election would be to congratulate the winner of the election, and wish him well and tell his followers to respect the office of the president of the federal republic of nigeria,he would never do this because he's an extremist, and the office is not fit for anyone else but him.Your grammar, composition, and spelling are horrific. |
MittPackage: Your Koran dictated that metaphorNow, go find out what the Jews think about Christians and Jesus |
Why does a country that claims to be practicing a Federal System of Govt have a "National" I.D card?! |
samfuntua: .....Tom Ikimi not only connived with the then military regime to annul the elections, terminate the democratic process and sell off his party. He became Abacha’s foreign minister, convincing the world that heinous state murders like the hanging of Ken Saro Wiwa were just acts!......Chief Emeka Ojukwu also went around the world telling people that Saro-Wiwa ought to be put to death. In fact, he was a signatory as the Abacha Govt witness at his execution. No tribe is exempt in the decay called Nigeria. |
ITbomb: If you read in between the lines, you would notice that Tinubu has actually confirm most of what Ikimi wrote. You need to go back to school. |
thebloodykiller: And only a bastard terrorist vulture will vote for APC in 2015Read through my whole post, nowhere did I mention APC. Not even once! Why are you so hateful? |
Credible! And just to add, GEJ did know about the earliest bombings by his surrogates in their attempts to create disaffection across the country and mutual suspicion between the North and the South. He had Northern collaborators, and when these men got schemed out after supporting Jonatahan (by his Ijaw brothers), they took control of the terrorist groups but soon lost control of them. GEJ also listening to the likes of Edwin Clark (who wants the disintegration of Nigeria in favor of a Niger Delta Republic where his likes would call the shots) led to his downfall. Only a sick person will vote GEJ next year. A two legged table would do a better job as President. |
Kponkwem: After reading this piece I'm beginning to wonder who the real enemies of ndigbo are? Is the one who preserved their properties and betrayed them or the one who secured it.The real enemies of the Ibos are the Ibos themselves. When you go to someone's home, you obey the rules. You dont go there exaggerating your worth and insisting you want to start making rules for them too. |
quid: OK....tell us who to vote forBuhari. Maybe Fashola. |
quid: Thanks. I wonder how this can be preventedDo not vote Jonathan. |
deeobserver209: Nice move. That's exactly what's practiced in the US.But America doesn't practice giving her people electricity, good roads, proper Healthcare, Social services, Justice, Security, accountability etc, right? Besides, that's not what is practiced in the U.S. |
Ikengawo: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d9/Casablanca-Conference.jpgUmmm...you know, maybe because it was world war II and all of Europe was at war and it would've been unsafe at that point for all the leaders to meet all at once in a European City and present day Morocco was under control of the Allies? |
nurasurajo: The polling unit weren't balance, Prof Jega should look into it and make amendment. FCT polling unit is more than that of south east. Is the population of FCT more than five state in south east?Don't Ibos make up 80% of Abuja anymore so why are you worried? |
mashodehammer: Rule for almost six years, wants another four and six years single termBasically, life President |
nateevs: You are obviously one of those who think identity theft only has only to do with money. Have you ever thought that through identity theft, you could be implicated in a crime? The problem with the African is that he is not a proactive thinker. If it hasn't happened he doesn't think of a solution. Critical and logical thinking is way beyond his realm of thoughts. |
BluStreak: Having said that, we as a people knowing how corrupt we have become over the years, wouldn't it serve us better having out DB managed by a foreign partner with credibility than leaving it in the hands of unscrupulous, untrustwhorthy elements (in the name of indigenous companies) that will end up selling the details to whoever makes them a good offer just to enrich themselves? Note that I am not implying that our data is with MC. Make una reason am naaaah? So, a foreign entity owes you loyalty and will not hand over your data and info for the right price? Roflmao Africans....smh |
obiscolly: Because only 30% of Nigerians operate bank accounts and the government is trying to encourage a cashless system in the economy.Maybe they should worry about providing yall with electricity, jobs, security, good health, better social services, good roads and education before bothering about a "cashless society". Besides most Nigerians are cashless anyway... aren't like 78.3% of your citizens living below the poverty level, by the way. |
Nigerians...Oh poor ignorant Nigerians.... first they fall for a National ID card, next they give up their biometrics --- the only thing they had against total Government control--- to a foreign organization. These are clearly a people that'll be controlled by the Govt for the foreseeable future...probably till eternity. |
lanrefront1: there is no big deal about the logo? I don't even know what reply to give to you.... I can't believe educated people talk like this......this is unbelievable....Does that clown seem to you like someone you should classify as "educated"? |
musicwriter: It's too late to worry about this. If you've ever been issued a Visa/mastercard ATM card by your bank, then be sure Visa or Mastercard already have all your details. And your fingerprints and retina scan too? |
all4naija: You are making a mountain out of molehill. Stop acting as though you are more exposed than everybody here. You don't even know you are using e-passport but willing to talk about biometric with poor views. Smh...Dude, shut the f*xck up, seriously, you're unbelievably annoying. E-passport... biometrics in U.S passport ect. Just shut the hell up! |
Ok, Mod why are you deleting my posts? You don't want me to enlighten your people and rescue them from perpetual slavery? |
SirShymex: And what's "modernity" got to do with selling your own people's sensitive details out for porridge? You know the biggest Problem we're witnessing here? Nigerians don't know what it means to be "free". They also believe if the Govt says it, then it must be right. That's why they don't understand the significance of anyone having access to their fingerprints. How do you explain to them that you are not your name, but your biometrics. And, just as you would safe guard you name and won't allow anyone misuse it, so should you your fingerprints, Retina scan, DNA sample ect. I bet if Visa or Discover came tomorrow and asked to issue them numbers but they had to provide blood samples, most of these clowns will adhere to it. |
matify: Every power minister seem to sing this same song without us seeing any meaningful impact other than further drop in megawatts come dry season .Well, this time they will give you electricity as promised from October 2014 till March 2015; then it's back to regular darkness. Vote GEJ and find out if I'm telling the truth or not. |
all4naija: If you have American passport then you have your fingerprint down the government database.Ok, ure clearly an idi.ot. Speak on what you know. |
bongolistik: stop lafin nd rolin urself on d floor cos u wil get dirty. D only tin dat u shuld b sayin here is dat dey Nigerian govment shuldnt hav made it a payment card too, simpleI don't care if they made it a "Have-free-beers-and-threeso*mes-with-two-strippers-on-a-sunday-night" card. What I'm saying is it is very dumb to hand over the biometric info of your entire economic and (potential) fighting force to a foreign entity. |
all4naija: Lol... You are joking. You do most of the times you have been caught by the police, dude!Did you somehow miss the "for free and for no reason" part? |
all4naija: If the part of the immigration reforms as put forward by John McCain pass the congress it could be possible. There has been plan to do that for years. It is not a new thing. I quite agree with you many Americans would go against it and many would also support it.Smh what the hell are you talking about? |
obiscolly: Oyibo-miss-road. Why are you so interested in the affairs of Nigeria if you truly American. Nairaland is a Nigerian forum, so we'll appreciate you get your filthy a$$ out of here and stop spewing trash. No one gives a damn if your surname is Obama.Normally, I don't respond to idi*ots, but today is your lucky day... |
