anonimi: You guys are such clueless jokers. He was there for only 18 months but in that time--- EVEN WITH WORLDWIDE SANCTIONS--- his first act was to pay off $50million debt racked up by the Second Republic made up of Shagari, Ekwueme, Dikko and co. That ensured that for the first time in Nigeria's history---because they did not owe Western Nations---her citizens were no longer slaves... at least for 18months he was in charge of the country. Your country was also cleaner and the people more disciplined and sane like developed countries. I know, I know... you cant fathom that its possible for people not to run wild like animals instead of waiting in line to get serviced, or to not sh*it and pee in public like wild hyenas. Well, between 1983-1985, your country was on the path to greatness. |
ThankGodEdeh: Some people just like to always over heat the polity. This case is simple. The man hired his plane out to some people who have confirmed his story. I wonder why some people still call him. If you hire out your car to somebody and the person is caught doing an illegal business, i dont think you will have any case to answer. Moreso, the owners of the money have come out to claim ownership. Please, OP leave Papa AYO alone.Sure... Tell them to produce a pic of the so-called John Ishyaku. |
torkaka: And I'm guessing u didn't read the part I said "this is not the first time"Listen here, boy, are you telling me what you're assuming or am I telling you what I KNOW? |
cosmatika: A shoemaker in Aba produced dis pair of shoe 4me since May last yr. It has nva visited another shoemaker since den. I wear it frm Monday to Friday every wk. I dnt bother buying another cos it shows no signs of spoiling. Guess wat? It cost me only #1500 to get it. Aba's ingenuityWhen you start having ankle, neck and back problems in the future remember it only cost you N1500 to acquire all those health problems. |
torkaka: Clear case of money launderingYou really think $9.3m is that much money for your politicians that it requires 2 jets, 2 Nigerians and an Israeli Arms dealer? That's small pennies in Nigeria, boy. This was a clear case of terrorism being put together. |
olajide21: According to the annual survey by the Berlin-based organization Transparency International, Somalia, North Korea, and Afghanistan are perceived to be the most corrupt, Finland, Denmark, and New Zealand are perceived to be the world's least corrupt countries. For a list of the least corrupt nations, see World's Least Corrupt Countries. The index defines corruption as the abuse of public office for private gain and measures the degree to which corruption is perceived to exist among a country's public officials and politicians. It is a composite index, drawing on 13 different expert and business surveys. The scores range from 100 (squeaky clean) to zero (highly corrupt). A score of 50 is the number Transparency International considers the borderline figure distinguishing countries that do and do not have a serious corruption problem. In the 2013 survey, two-thirds of countries scored below 50.Except for Venezuela (which isn't that much stable itself), most of the countries on that list are ravaged by one conflict or the other. |
DeeMain: I used to have so much respect for your views on NL. I thought you were an objective foreigner/US citizen giving Nigerians the other prespective till I looked more closely and observed your morbid hatred for anything Igbo...Well, contrary to your accusations I do not hate Ibos. For what? Sure, out of all the groups in Nigeria, when it comes to monetary transactions I wouldn't trust them farther than I could throw them, but that doesn't mean I hate them. Before PDP agents attacked NL and wiped off most of our old posts--- like you can attest to--- I usually came on here in neutrality. But, your ibo brothers would not let me be. Constantly attacking whatever views they deemed unpopular. Tell me, who boasts, chests beats, and constantly antagonizes others on here more than your kin? I state facts as I see them and if my saying things like " Ibos are as religiously and ethnically intolerant like the Hausas they love to condemn" or "Nigerians should call the bluff of the Ibos and vote out this criminal govt" is what makes you think I hate yall, then, hey.... But rest assured, I don't. Yall just need to do some character searching and stop irritating others so much with your attitude. |
stevikenna: All these I too know people...u don go aba go see for yourself.you just made yourself look like a big foolYes I've actually been all over your country. I bet I've been to more places than you. |
Abagworo: It can't be exaggerated if you really know Aba well. There are more than 50,000 shoe manufacturers and 20 pairs a piece is 1million.Hmmmnnn.... 50,000 shoe manufacturers?! What's the total population of the city? |
arresa: One million a day sounds way way more than exaggeration. Its utterly impossible from every angle. Even major shoe makers with better facilities and capacities all over the world can not move 1 million a day.Yeah tell these clowns that and they start throwing tantrums and insults. |
Ohamadike42: You are saying its exaggeration, do you know how that the manufacturers of this shoes are in thousands? If you wanna know just go to bakassi at Aba to verify Mazi Sam's claim. For we Aba boys this is not news because we know about it for ages and the shoes they produce are of standard quality and design.I do not doubt that you make huge profits or productions, all I'm saying is 1million pairs a day is a freaking lie! I bet if the Authorities decided to tax them according to the claimed output that the "Aba boys" will recant and retract the figure immediately. |
OrlandoOwoh: The Enugu Int'l Airport doubles as an int'l seaport during rainy season. Its actually to be used for trials for swimmers hoping to go to the olympics. |
segalex: I'm more than convinced that our leaders know the people behind this book haram issue, what baffles however is; why haven't they done anything about these people? are they so powerful that even the fed govt cannot prosecute these individuals? The problem with Nigerians is you guys are hypocrites and unbelievably evil sets of people that'll deny seeing the truth even if it forces it's d*ick in your mouth in broad daylight in front of the pope. You have $9.3milion seized by South Africa, on a Private jet owned by the Chief Pastor of Nigeria, and which was carrying a well known Israeli Arms dealer and u say "I believe the FG knows who is behind BH"... Duh?! |
kennygee: Better than Buhari if u ask me.Give me just 10 reasons how. |
One million pairs a day is obviously a gross exaggeration...but then again if the amount is not inflated then the news is not coming from the South East. |
Atiku the criminal will wreck Nigeria just as bad as GEJ. |
ROSSIKE: Abuja Medical City, A 300-bed tertiary care center, will comprise of Surgery, Critical Care Services, 5 Operating suites. 91 critical care beds and 204 intermediate care beds. This health care campus will be among the region's most innovative and advanced facilities. The Abuja Medical City contributes to UMI's vision to become a global center of excellence for healthcare delivery. They had 15yrs+ to do this, they didn't, now GEJ and co want to hoodwink gullible Nigerians with promises. |
Yes, fall for the pressures of Ibos and vote and rig in GEJ again. Yall aint seen nothing yet! |
bloodyklller: the fear of Gej landslide victory is the begining of wisdom. tinkinjow: And Nigerians as usual will waste their time debating this till Gej is sworn in by 2015. Keep wasting una time that all I came in here to say.You think? Oh, because you assume nobody in PDP will wake up on the eve of the election and decide they can do a better job thereby plunging the party into disarray. You just relax and keep watching the movie going on. |
anthoniosp: Jst watching to see what some people will infer from this!Infer what? The world knows your President is a mad man. How can you "commiserate" with someone that should be cooling off in jail because of his criminal behavior that led to the loss of almost a hundred lives of his gullible members? |
seanet02: Show me your friends and i will tell you who you are.And Terrorists.... |
egift: Nigerians are too patient with Jonathan, enduring him since 2010 to repent and forsake corruptionGEJ shouldve been impeached by the first 4-6 months..... But Nigerians are crazy themselves, so, of course its only normal that a loony leads them. |
www.nairaland.com/attachments/1722006_1515674onitsharoad4jpeg036b4a361d833009ef52da646e9951ae_jpeg343228d83c2fed24c43a0c64e0ba088f Dirty, filthy monkeys... Notice the guy in the red shirt peeing in public as cars fly by. |
aljharem: It is not about Igbos but what is right for Nigerians.Ok, your question is steewwpid as hell. Dont you have a camel you have to go ra*pe or something? |
ilugunboy: I think this endorsement of GEJ without primaries is the best time for APC to conduct a primary and use it as a campaign strategy.Nope, the later they wait the better. GEJ is finished, trust me on this. Top Senators out here hate him. And I can tell you that the annual country report being prepared by State (Dept) is so unfavorable that even Obama might have no choice but to speak on it. Bookmark November and quote me when the time is due. |
fowowe411: My problem isn't Jonathan or Ayo Oritshejafor* but the writeup of Ffk trying to drag christians into an holy solidarity, one thing am very sure here is that somehow is into some shady deals and 100% sure it is not for Boko haram cos i blieve christians are not the one sponsoring Boko haram as some people are trying to paint it.I SMELL MONEY LAUNDERING!Hard as it is to fathom, Govts do destabilize their own states to achieve certain objectives. GEJ's was to create ethnic/tribal division in Nigeria so he could divide the country (their first aim) or at least stay in power longer. He started off using Henry Okah, before Oritsejafor became the Chief Gun-Runner for the GEJ govt. Believe it or not, the plan was that if in case Nigerians refused to fight each other after all the bombs, certain parts of the North would be totally destroyed such that no elections would hold there thereby cutting into Northern/Opposition votes. But most of you are not enlightened enough to 'see'. It wasnt money laundering but a clear case of terrorism. |
Mogidi: CPC will win, ANPP will win, Buhari has been saying this since 1999, repeating same line election after election. This time hes right. Watch how your darling GEJ gets decimated in the West, latest November ending. Dont catch a heart attack when Cameron, Obama etc openly urge Nigerians to do away with him. Also, tell him the new P.R firm they are talking to in the DMV area wont do them any good. Waste of money. But who cares, so long as the African's illegal funds pays U.S salaries and puts meals on American tables, who cares what the backwards oafs do? |
rexzqcom: The business of life and death which the international arms trades represents, often are covert. Less than 30% of it are transparent. Over 70% are shady in nature. Even the Usa operates more often than not, in the veiled arms market. The case of Iran-Contras arm deal comes to mind. A situation when the CIA had to receive drugs (cocaine) from Contra guerrilla army, sold them in the US, and use the proceed to buy arms for Contra to sell to the Iran govt, who was their vowed enemy. This unsavory deals was promulgated to circumvent the same USA law that forbid the sale of any new arms, ammunition, and spare-parts for their existing armaments purchased earlier during friendly time. The Contra-Army themselves were illegal guerrilla force fighting their elected Sandinista govt of Nicaragua. Won't be surprised, if this so called deal with the SA, is actually a deal where Israel is the actual seller by way of South Africa transit. Such are the covert natures of international arms trafficking. Can you bushmen actually stick to topics you know about and stop pretending you have any idea how arms are traded between countries? |
Nigerians just need to call the bluff of the ibos and vote out GEJ and vote in better officials. |
asadike: oh,shut d trap limp dick. The man is aspiring 2 be d president of dis nation so he should b mindful of d kind of speech he makes. And,you dumb illiterate hateful jungle bunny, what did he say that was wrong? Why cant he say anything without you flatheaded monkeys intent on destroying Nigeria complaining? Even his silence is criticized, what can he do to please you demons? |
Btruth: Most clueless President that ever lived. Honestly, I don't have any thing against Mr Jonathan, but him not been active towards scolding all the useless politicians working under him. How can they be lying to him that the economy is doing great and yet majority of the people are still suffering. I was touched to the marrow yesterday when a lady of about 17 years walk to me that he needed money to eat. She was actually hawking banana, and I queried why she will not use some of the money with her. My calculation of all the banana is not even up to N1000, at most maybe N700. So are many others by the road side too. I've seen women older than my mother hawking pure water in the traffic, husbands selling Gala & bread on the highways. I've heard from workers working for the Chinese company how they have been abused by their employers. Some says they work from 7am to 8pm, 7 days in a week and yet they are been paid N18,000 monthly. For Christ sake, what is President Jonathan doing about all this? Why should Minister of Finance (Okonjo-Ewenla or whatever she calls herself) be lying about the improvement in the economy. What is the problem with our leaders? Nigerian are suffering, and yet these maggots are busy moving around from one state to another campaigning about transformation agenda. One thing I want you to realize is that we are not fools any more. There's different between renting a crowd to campaign for you and the people coming out willing to support you. All what the TAN (transformation ambassador of nigeria) has been doing is busy using our $21b to buy the crowd. But all the same, they will only try, but they all will failed. Jonathan have time to go around for TAN campaign, but he does not have just a single day to organize a rally of just 1hour to campaign against the abduction of the Chibok girls. Let him continue, afterall, one that is greater than all of us is watching. When you guys are ready for the Govt to work for you and be accountable to your desires you'll elect Buhari even if for 4yrs to restore order and sanity. Until then, enjoy your sufferings. |
