Thawarplay: I dont blame anyone condeming this card cos most of them dont know anything about it. Because master card logo is on it doesnt mean it has thing to do with bank or any finnacial ish. Maybe Master card just help in getting them the database software and other things and they both agreed to put the logo on the card as the business dealIn life just because an idea pops up in your head doesn't mean you should spill it out, especially if uve got no idea what you're talking about. |
noblezone: Zik had the chance to correct the mistake of the criminals from foreign lands who joined us to Jihardists! But Ojukwu tried to be Senator and President of this one Nigeria u seem to hate so much. |
thwarrior72: It is simple, Kogi people fail to detach themselves from the grip of core north, who sees them as a subject/minority that must not be allowed to live to they full potentials. And Abia state is a shiyyt hole because? |
PhockPhockMan: So 2007 election was between Obasanjo and Falae abi? After Seeing your user name, previous posts and knowing your antecedents, you really think I wanna get involved in an exchange with you? Buzz off. |
PhockPhockMan: You mumu o o, which Igbo candidate Igbos are planning to vote en mass?A non muslim, non Yoruba or Hausa person. GEJ! |
Before PDP hackers erased everyone's posts, I had previously spoken on this subject. This is what the Nigerian Govt shouldve done. 1. Issued a unique 9 digit number to every Nigerian from 18yrs of age. Only those from that age will have their fingerprints taken. The only reason fingerprints will be taken from anyone under 18yrs old is if they have a dependent(s) 2. There should be a 365 day deadline to request this number. After 365days the requirements to have this number issued to you become more stringent and the burden of proof to show birth in Nigeria instead of in Chad, Niger, Benin Rep., or Cameroon...or Pluto is on you. 3. Because it is imperative--- and for present proper identification, security and data reasons---fingerprints will be taken from adults and people with dependents But NOT from minors. In this way, the collation of fingerprints--- the very essence of your identity and who you are--- will be severely limited (for future reasons) to I.e criminal investigations, background checks etc. 4. When an adult has all his vital info taken, his dependents are listed on the record under him and they are also issued unique identification numbers. Basically, in twenty yrs a random nobody cant come claiming to be someone's child when they weren't listed on the record in the past. Nigeria should do a better job keeping people's biographic info and medical records safer. |
JackDaniels1: @CeasareAnd what if I don't feel like using a bank or having anything to do with a financial institution? This idea of linking a bank with your i.d is the strangest, dumbest, most uninformed idea I have ever witnessed in a Govt derelicting it's duties to protect the citizens. The problem with the present Nigerian leaders is their inability to think critically, logically and fururistically. That basically tells us you have cavemen leading your country today. E.g What if in the future a foreign country plants the fingerprints of a Nigerian citizen--- gleaned from the database of this bank handling the I.D cards--- at the scene of a bombing or assassination of a top dignitary then uses that as an excuse to bomb your country into the stone age? What if they leave the prints on a computer used to access another country's systems? The scenarios are endless and all of them bad. The bottom line is the info of Nigerian is at risk, globally, and can be accessed by anyone that feels like. |
Missy89: This would put all the personal/financial information of most Nigerians in the hands of a foreign company. which would be stored overseas.Gosh, Nigerians are so silly it's unbelievable. I wouldn't advise anyone to get that piece of crap. |
Lmaooooo National ID Card in conjuction with Mastercard Credit Services. Who the hell are these backwards folk at the helm of Govt in Nigeria?! ![]() |
comos: what stop you from joining the army, if you are so patrioticFighting for the Nigerian Army could open me up to treason charges in my homeland. I do not owe allegiance to Nigeria, nor do I have any responsibility to defend her sovereignty or integrity. |
idumuose: Your post smells tribalistic. The Igbos voted overwhelmingly for obsanjo during the 2007 presidential election.Go and check your records if you have any and come back here and apologize.Tribalistic?! Against who? For Whom? You're referring me to 2007 when it was OBJ v Falae, while I'm talking about 2014 when it's Ibos v North v Yoruba v Hausa v West Fulani v Muslim v Every Non-Ibo.... The absolute truth is, but for the Ibos GEJ would've been long gone. This is not to say there aren't certain Northern elements (plus their Western and South Eastern collaborators) that are bent on retaining power and keeping the status quo, but it's to say the Ibos are just as (if not more) religiously and culturally intolerant as their up north Neighbors. GEJ has destroyed Nigeria because he can't be "checked" (impeachment, Coup, resignation etc). He knows if he's called to account for any of his actions his "brothers" will spring to his defense and that's the impunity and ineptitude you see in full swing in Nigeria today. Hate it or love it I've spoken the truth. |
Iluvberem: Apc are just wasting time and it will be their national shame in 2015So basically based on tribe and religion , Ibos will vote only their own, won't vote for others, but expect others to vote for them? |
hansad: Estimate: about 90% of Nigerians who blame President Jonathan for non military defeat of B/Haram are those who do not bother or are praying for present Nigeria to be turned into Islamic Sharia Repubic of Nigeria. Others are ignoramuses who do not even understand how military force works in conflict situations. And the remaining 10% are the Fifth Columnists who support GEJ in hopes that he'll mismanage the country so badly that all sides will start fighting and they'll finally get the country which they had earlier sought in '67. |
ovadoze: the devil we know(PDP) is better than the angel(APC) we don't knowEvery time I read a Nigerian say this I immediately identify them as the problem of that country. The people like yourself that make this statements are usually the myopic, shortsighted individuals that are scared of change, thus, they try to force everyone else to be in a standstill. |
sexzskil: I don't think Davido's father is even worth 200 million dollars$200mill?! I doubt he's even worth $15million. |
MissMeiya: *long stare*Lmaoooooo |
Emessy: What will you do if the world SUPER POWERS decides to invade Africa and use africans as slave , what do you think will happen and what will you do personallyI'll do my best to buy Patience Jonathan. She'll be the perfect comic relief after a hard day of me supervising the field to make sure GEJ is working instead of being lazy getting drunk under the trees and that Metuh, Abati, Reno, Okupe, Fani Kayode,Oduah, Diezani and co are not keeping busy stealing all the farm produce for themselves. |
PvtParts2: He is not a tout like you. You're lying, your obviously jobless. You go from thread to thread fighting anonymous people from your computer over a GEJ that doesn't know you or anyone close to you exists. You need to get your life. |
He needs to change his stylists. |
Why would you want your blood type or any of your medical history for that matter be public info? Might as well put your IQ score on the i.d card too while we're at it. |
lovinhubby2wife: my guy even if we procure such facilities as stated by you, it is still not safe for him. I bet you, no president from nigeria would want to risk his/her life considering the level of reasoning among our politicians. But I bet you if he starts a culture of punishing people for crimes committed against the State no doctor would want to risk time in Prison or his neck at the gallows for an attempt on the life of the President. The only Problem with this is that this will include ALL crimes not just certain ones; corruption inclusive. So I guess it's off to Germany whenever Jonah gets a headache till 2096. |
berem: Ifeanyi,as a medical doctor, you do your own diagnosis on patients by looking at them through a television to know if they are sick or not? Your certificate needs to be withdrawn. You're no different from thos ghana boys who hawk and sell agbo drinks in Lagos. You really believe that clown has been anywhere within the four walls of a medical facility as a practitioner then you must have something wrong with you also. |
APContherun: Can you tell us how much Patience Jonathan is worth? Your contribution on nairaland should reflect your age but I'm guessing you are just a kid trying to play adult's game.Nigerians from a certain part of your country are about the most ignorant animals on the planet. Not fit to be called 'humans' despite the fact they walk on two feet and have mastered the art of speech for communication, these beings are so backwards because they can only see logic through religion and the opposing arguers tribe. Just so you know, your Patience Jonathan is worth between $4-7billion... and those are conservative estimates. Pray to God with all your might---and hope the Devil answers your pleas---that Buhari doesn't win the next elections the revelations on how much of the country's wealth is being drain will definitely cause you a heart attack. Western Govts already have the info ready to pass on to a new Government to ensure GEJ and his allies go to prison after his tenure is over. |
Patience Jonathan alone can pay this chicken change debt from just one account she has held in the name of her proxies. |
ronaldreagan26: Nigerians deserve more than what we are getting from this bunch of criminals called politicians, only a genuine revolution spearheaded by the youth can re-claim this country......smhIf the North, West and parts of the South South stage another "Occupy Nigeria", guess the ONLY section of Nigeria that'll ensure the whole process crumbles... Yup, you guessed right. What other Nigerians should do is systematically, procedurally, and legally make them unwelcome in their regions; thats the only way Nigeria will rise. Force them to stay home and develop their states. That will never happen if they have other places to run to, make fun of and attempt to "claim". If they are made to realize that they dont have two homes they will stop encouraging horrible Governments all because of tribe and religion. |
In any sane society, the Federal Govt will immediately declare that area (especially because of that second picture) a disaster zone, cordon it off, and knock down those old decrepit buildings. Even war zones shouldnt look that bad. You have to be an absolutely filthy pig to live within 25mile radius of that sty. |
odun4love:Whats "good" about a corrupt,hypocritical, and divisive man? |
Nayah: FYI 4 millions Nigerians are living in this country because of many reasons in which stability! Secondly Boko Haram thing you we're unable to fight makes people escape from your country to mine everyday and their number is increasing ...but now the border is closed this is what we call a responsible authority. So please instead of being arrogant and talking about economy you'd rather training a good army( as you re supposed to be the "giant"Thats not you in your profile pic, I remember you from your old pictures. But whatever.... Anyway, Cameroon is not much different from Nigeria so keep the boasting to a minimum. I don't think its about "300 hundred ethnic groups" knowing "how to live together" than the fact that Nigerians are not as docile as their neighbors. After all, most Cameroonians have known only one President their entire lives. Paul Biya has ruled all of 32years. You'd be hard pressed find a Nigerian leader that can control the buck ---with no improvement to their lives---for that long. If theres anything Nigerians know how to do its change their leaders if they don't like him anymore and he's refusing to heed calls that he has exceeded his welcome. GEJ tried to use the Paul Biya model "single term rule" in Nigeria; it failed! Using that same tactic, Paul Biya has successfully ruled Cameroon since 1982, looting the treasury along the way, and his government is constantly noted as one of the worst in the world. Plus, Cameroon is a puppet to the French. |
Corruption. Hypocrisy. Always having his foot in his mouth. Being incoherent. Patience Jonathan . |
redsun: This guy has been an old school thief. Is he still there? What has he got to offer a true 21st century nigerian? What does he know about the dynamic world?Old school thief that, at his age, cannot prove to foreign officials that he won't overstay his visa and pick up a job washing dishes or driving illegal cabbies? Apparently you've never been outside your locale that's why you didn't understand that the only reason he was denied a visa is because he does not have enough assets in the country he served but obviously did not loot from. |
13volts: inside Sambisa forest. sorry guys i over resize the pixsSo, Samiba forest was even a problem all this while and the Govt did not anticipate a scenario where kidnapped people could be holed up in there with the terrorists? |
muami: The CPC Chairman Tony Momoh has been denied a UK Visa by the UK Embassy on the ground that he does not have an established presence or strong ties to Nigeria. Furthermore, he could not prove to the Embassy through a bank statement that he has enough money to maintain and adequately accomodate himself whilst in the UK.Yet Nigeria hates men like this. smh |

;I smell e-war...........!!!
and teaching your people what is patriotic spirit and maybe this betrayal context you people are living with because of your gvt won't happen again. Being rich in a chaos doesn't mean anything . In Cameroon 300 ethnic groups know how to live together because this is about our flag and NOT village . Plus Cameroonian gvt tought you another lesson: how to protect their people can you tell me the same regarding your country? I don' t think so... Cameroon may not have the same economy like yours but please many people in which your brothers prefer 1 million times living in the neighbour country than the so called "Giant" and we all know the reason. So please calm down
